Was out shopping so decided to stop here for breakfast. I checked in on yelp prior to going in so I was seated right away. That part was great since there was a big line of people waiting. It was ok.. I wanted good pancakes and these weren't it! The rosemary potatoes were bomb! Bacon was good too. I'll go back for lunch to try the sandwiches cause they looked great! The menu has lots of options!

Just be mindful that a cup of coffee here is $3.99, I kind of misinterpreted the server asking me "Do you want coffee or orange juice?" when I was first sitting down to mean that it's complimentary. I should have just went with a cup of water honestly. The server could have been more transparent about the pricing with me. It also felt like he was rushing me to leave already even though there were so much open space (and I arrived later than the others around me), but I didn't take his customer service to heart. Thankfully the prices weren't too bad and the meal was pretty great. I was immediately seated for a solo brunch here. The Fall Menu looked very delicious and I went ahead to order the Fall Mini Breakfast, which included eggs, I chose bacon strips (2), and the fall pancakes (2). There was a bit of a wait but that meant the food came out hot and fresh! I found the egg and bacon platter to be cooked very well! Just how I liked them. The bacon was crispy thin and yummy, while the eggs were soft and creamy. The pancakes were also cooked so well! The batter mix was delicious and there was traces of pumpkin with the pancake, and topped with just the right amount of fruits, syrup, and powdered sugar (no additional syrup needed ontop if you ask me). I was super stuffed with this meal that I couldn't finish one pancake.

A nice midsized restaurant located in a strip mall. Very well furnished and pleasant staff. We arrived at opening at 7am and the mall looked closed, but when we entered we were greeted and seated quickly for a saturday. Many breakfast options, which were very sweet and tasty. I had the Loru's combo with bacon and a cinnamon roll french toast (AMAZING) and my wife had the crepe flight. These are very sweet, a little too sweet for my wife, but great food. We also enjoyed the large coffee options. I had a iced vanilla and my wife opted for the excellent cappuccino. A little pricey, but average for the area. Tipping was optional. Bathrooms needed a lot more attention. They were getting worn and needed a deep clean. That was the weak spot and cost them a star. But food and service were top notch.

Had to stop by the outlets after work and since I didn't want to drive home in traffic I decided to have an early dinner there. Loru's was just a few doors down and so it was an easy decision. It was quite empty when I walked in, only one table was occupied. I waited briefly at the front and the server then came over and said I could sit wherever I wanted. After giving me some time to review the menu she came over and told me about their Taco Tuesday special and of course I had to order that because who doesn't like tacos!?! I also got the chile verde with pork omelette with a side of fruit. Flavor wise everything was pretty good. My only issue was that everything seemed a bit overcooked, the meats were a bit dry and the omelette were a little chewy. If not for that then it would have been perfect! Service was good, my server regularly checked on me. It was a pretty solid experience and will be on my rotation for when I'm at the outlets.

Stopped by Loru's while doing some outlet shopping and it was a great spot for a quick breakfast. Service was great, our waiter was attentive and very helpful. I ordered the machaca breakfast and it was delicious! I especially liked that the meat in it was tender and soft. I also ordered iced coffee (it is on the sweeter side) and it was refillable - which was a fun surprise! The cafe was busy, I stopped by on a Saturday morning, however the food came out fast and it did not feel like a long wait. Great spot to eat while shopping around the outlets.

This place was great. It was our first time there and weren't exactly sure what to expect. We walked in and we're promptly greeted by a friendly hostess. There was ample seating. We got our beverages. We ordered quickly. They gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu and checked on us often. The menu itself is vast there is something for everybody on this menu. We were there in between breakfast and lunch so I ordered the breakfast tacos. They were quite large and full of flavor. Everything was prepared fresh and it tasted as such. I chose the breakfast potatoes over the hashbrowns and they were wonderful. My husband got chicken and waffles and he really enjoyed them as well. Next time we are out in town around the outlets, we will definitely pop in again.

They have a good variety of breakfast options - all day breakfast! Love it when places do all day breakfast. The food itself was fine. I loved my pancakes, the eggs were well poached, bacon wasn't crispy, homestyle potatoes were okay. They serve alcohol at this brunch spot! FYI Located inside Camarillo Outlets and plenty of parking.

The prices do not match the quality at all. Everything tasted like it came straight out of a can completely lacking flavor and care. They try to dress the plates up by adding purple flowers for the aesthetic, but it doesn't improve the taste whatsoever. My mom ordered the chilaquiles and the chips were already soggy when they arrived, with zero flavor. The meat was dry not even chewy or tough just an unpleasant texture, honestly similar to hair texture. The beans tasted exactly like canned beans. My dad ordered a skillet and only ate the eggs and tortilla. Everything else on the plate was burnt. The taste was so bad it reminded me of burnt plastic no seasoning, no balance, nothing. For the prices being charged, we expected much better quality and execution. Eating out as a family should feel worth it, and unfortunately this experience was beyond disappointing. We likely are never going to return and would recommend managing expectations.

The food is mediocre at best. No flavors or seasonings especially for what they charge. We ordered breakfast and lunch items and both with same problems. On the weekend it is super busy and the staff seems overwhelmed. Therefore don't expect the best service. I wouldn't try to go back. read more

What a great little restaurant this place is. It is exactly what the outlets needed, it's a perfect place to eat before during or after shopping. It's now a traditional seating restraunt. The boast a menu of American food with Mexican dishes sprinkled throughout. The menu also has a an abundance of breakfast items that Camarillo needs! I visited in a Sunday and we had bottomless mimosas, Michele dad and some fantastic chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. Not lying at all, these were the best chilaquiles I have ever had, the were smothered in a pork verde sauce and the chips had a crunch still... so good. Staff was nice and even tho they were packed, the drinks kept flowing and service was outstanding. read more

Went today to give this place one last try. Sad to say we will not be returning. Today my husbands beans were cold on his chili verde plate along with his potatoes. My sausage was so cold on the inside as well. Cook to order items like eggs were hot but everything else reheated was sad. Service was so so. I wouldn't recommend coming to this place alone. As they rush you the heck out of the door. The place was about 1/3 Rd full when I arrived. I ask for a table for one. The host refers me to the one chair table one foot from the door. We all know that's the bitch seat. Least desirable place to sit in the place. I ask for outside instead they seat me in front of kitchen. The second most undesirable location to sit. My server greets me in Spanish calling me little boy what can I get for you. My pronoun is sir! As I'm a 30 year old man. Straight disrespectful. He asks me what I want after reciting the specials. Pretty much saying if it's not the special s the rest of the menu isn't worth your time. I came here for crepes. I ordered the sample platter with a side of eggs. It was brought to Me in 5 minutes. Very fast. Almost like they are rushing me from enjoying the experience. Guess what? Food was ice cold. I was like how is that possible with how fast it got to me. My guess they had some just laying out. I had my hand up looking to request my waiter to ask for explanation or a fix. Another coworker noticed and told him to talk to me. While he was chatting with his coworker. He did the right thing apologized and sent my order back to try again! That's the reason for the additional star. However he asked if I wanted it to take home instead of eating at restaurant! Sir I only ordered two things. This is an experience. Food got back to me. The eggs were iced cold again. What the hell is this kitchen doing. Then the crepes came. Warm. Better. If my server isn't getting 4th degree burns from how hot the plate is without gloves or napkin delivery. It's luke warm at best. The server kept checking in and had my drinks filled. But it was in such a way they wanted me to leave. #hostile. I was in restaurant for 15 minutes total before leaving. Not sure I'll be back. Pretty disappointed read more

The prices were reasonable. It did take a while to get food in a really busy restaurant. Our server was efficient. I wasn't looking for someone particularly gregarious, but he did his job well. The food was amazing. I'm a real fan of Swedish crepes with lingonberry. That is on the menu. There is another restaurant a couple of miles away that serves them, there you get 5 small rolled up crepes with the jam on top. Here you get four full sized French style crepes folded in quarters with the jam and lingonberry butter on top. So much more food volume that the minor increase in price is well worth paying. I took some photos of our half eaten food, but perhaps they can help you decide. I highly recommend this place. My husband had the Lori's omelet which included hash browns, steak fajita filling topped with chorizo and a side of pancakes. It was far too much food! read more

The food feels very home cooked, hence the long wait for your food to show up at your table. The wait staff is really friendly, but need A LOT of direction on how to get items their customer orders or requests, like refills, extra napkins, hot sauce. Parking is plenty since this place is located in the Camarillo Outlets with H&M and Cracker Barrel. Just make sure you look at their utensils before you use them. Every single utensil we received wasn't properly cleaned. Their coffee is fantastic. read more

Surprisingly delicious! Little unassuming cafe among the shops at the Camarillo Outlets, who would have thought? Our group of five stopped here before a day of shopping and everything was SO good! We had the biscuits and gravy (so flavorful!), the huevos rancheros (delicious), and the chilaquiles (a favorite). We also split 2 fresh cinnamon rolls and those were to die for! We also ordered black coffee and it was seriously the perfect cup of coffee- some places the coffee is too bitter but not here! We were impressed. Solid breakfast spot. I'm sure we will be back. read more

We had the best Chile Rellano omelette the flavor was so delicious and it was cooked to perfection. The homemade salsa was spicy just the way we like it! The restaurant is family owned and the staff were very friendly. Our server Xochtl provided excellent service, she was cheerful and you can tell she takes pride in her work. We look forward to our next visit. I am hoping the Chile Relleno omelette gets added to their menu as this was a special today. read more

We were there on the early end of Friday. The chilaquiles were ok, but you can tell the beans are from a can which I don't love. Tortilla chips were crisp and the sauce was tasty. The chicken lime salad was well put together and good size but the dressing was a little heavy for me. They have a patio which is nice at the outlets and also an indoor area. The service team was very kind and brought out water regularly and checked in on the table. read more

The waffle could have been thicker and crisper, as the one I was trying was soft in texture like a thawed out frozen waffle. Next time I am in Cali, I would love to stop by and have a sit down meal properly inside the restaurant. It was such a gorgeous day for brunch and while I couldn't take in the full experience, I am glad I enjoyed a delicious meal.

My mom and I were pretty excited to try this place and share a nice dining experience together. Before we went, I looked up the menu on their website and saw they had a good selection of pizzas/ pastas (including vegetarian options). My mom can't have meat due to health reasons so I was happy to see that she would have some choices. When we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly staff who let us pick where we wanted to sit. After looking through the menu, I realized there were no pizzas on there. We asked the waitress about it and she said they no longer had pizzas. That was a huge bummer because that limited my mom's choices for what she could actually order and I was looking forward to trying the pizza. My mom eventually ordered an alfredo pasta without meat. A bit later, the waitress came back and told us there was no pasta either and asked if my mom wanted to see the menu again. At that point, my mom and I were both taken aback wondering if there was anything on the menu that would be available for her. We asked the waitress who said that they still had salad or a veggie omelette. No shame to those options, but that was definitely not what we had come for. By then, I could tell that my mom didn't want things to get uncomfortable and just wanted to make it easy for everyone by settling for the omelette. Our food came: the presentation with the flowers was nice but the flavors were bland and did not reflect the expensive bill. I hope our experience was an outlier but I walked away feeling pretty disappointed for my mom and uneasy about the shrinking menu. read more

I also asked for the Wi-Fi password, and while the server provided it, he didn't know the correct capitalization. Even after the options I tried failed to work, he showed no interest in helping or verifying the info. It felt like he was just going through the motions without any real care for the guest experience. I noticed a similar cold vibe with the table next to me as well. We were very disappointed. It took forever to get our food because they gave our food to another table who sat down long after us. Not even an apology. Service is definitely a low priority for them. When we did get our food, the clam chowder was way over salted (over salting is because they "forgot" they already put in salt or an attempt to "hide" a below average flavor). The cheeseburger my younger daughter ordered was burnt to a crisp even though we ordered it medium. Her fries were also "soggy". The rest of the food was ok, but since it's such a hit and miss with this place, it's not worth returning to. Which is too bad since we live close to the Camarillo outlets. I predict that loru's will go belly up. Hopefully a better restaurant will take it's place. read more

PHENOMENAL service!! i love coming here for any meal if the day! this has become my fiancé and i's spot to come to every sunday or wednesday! the food is amazing, fresh, and hot! and out within 5-10 minutes of ordering if i could rate 1,000 stars i would! the staff is super super friendly and the loru's waffle, hashbrowns, and a glass of orange juice is my order always ! and it's the perfect combo, the hash browns are the best i've ever had, great, loving, comfort food that does leave you feeling sick like dennys or ihop,and the staff treats you like family! tables and seats are always super clean, and they even allow good behaved dogs on the patio! My family and I visited Loru's Cafe during a less busy time, but unfortunately, the ambiance felt cramped with tables close together. We waited for about 30 minutes for our food, which turned out to be disappointing. The teriyaki burger was served cold without the teriyaki sauce, and the BBQ burger also arrived cold with unappetizing BBQ sauce, patty, and onion rings. Even the usually reliable club sandwich tasted strange. To add to the disappointment, my mom, a vegetarian, received a chilaquiles plate with meat in it, which was not on the menu. The service wasn't great either, as the waitress didn't check on us, and the employees seemed preoccupied at the back. Overall, I wouldn't recommend wasting time or money at this place. read more

7/23/22 : Didn't post a pic. We came in around 12:30PM. Food was ok. Wife ordered a steak and eggs with hash brown and I ordered a BLT sandwich. Food was okay. But here's my issue... LORU'S NAPKINS STINK AF!!! I thought it was 1 napkin so I requested another and guess what.. THAT SHIT STINKY AF TOO!!!
