*Chicken Karaage* **Sweet Corn Fritters*

Came on a Thursday evening with a friend for dinner. You order first inside and then find a seat after, some of the tables are lower and feel more for lounging & drinking than eating. I was big unclear if sitting at the bar if you order through the bar or inside. They give you a pager for your food but also.... There's no way of knowing where you went so they end up circling the restaurant looking for you. I wanted to order the ramen, but they were sold out, so I got the Malaysian chicken curry bowl instead. The bowl had a good amount of food, I wish it had more veggies and maybe more sauce. It was good but I'd likely venture to get something different. My friend ordered the chicken karaage and corn fritters and the sampler platter. The chicken was yummy and the dipping sauce paired well, the fritters were on the saltier side. I was full so I didn't try all the things in the sampler platter but it was a good amount of food for $25. You can taste the smokiness in the wings. I would be open to returning to try another dish.

Tiday was snother fun and filling meal at Loro. We sat at the outside bar and the breeze with a little humidity made it feel like sitting at an outside bar at the beach. The bartenders were always making sure you didn't need anything. Our food was brought to the bar and it made everything simple. I had the crispy cabbage salad and shared the crispy potatos, Asian Ribs and Chicken. All very delicious. If you haven't tried Loro, then go and enjoy like so many others!

Love Loro! Our final date day stop...we ordered wings, smashed burger, salmon dip with chips and Brussel sprouts. All the food came pretty fast and we liked all the food for different reasons. Wings were spicey with a little kick...yum! Smashed burger was juicy with a Hawaiian soft bun. Salmon dip was flavorful with the perfect pairing of tortilla chips (switched from wonton chips). These were not the standard tortilla chips. These were mutant large chips were sprinkled with an addicting seasoning, which packed a punch. The Brussel sprouts were the standout with booming flavor and welcomed textures. Crystal, our server, was great! She was very attentive and extremely friendly. Today, Loro was packed with folks inside and out likely due to it being a very beautiful day and the day before Valentine's Day.

One of the only places that do Asian fusion and nail it! Their Malaysian chicken, brisket and corn fritters are yummy! Also their burgers are pretty good. Dog friendly patio and bar area. A fave of ours in Austin and happy they are now up north at the Domain too!

Recommended by 2 born and bred Austinites - it's a trendy asian fusion restaurant with a good bar. Great place before a night out with high vibes and loud music. The concept is order at the bar, bring back to your table. The drinks are order at the bar. Plates are shareable and the menu has a fun variety of cuisines.

Solid four star experience, yearning for five. My husband and I had wanted to try Loro for a while and grabbed takeout for a belated Valentine's dinner. Ordered easily online and quickly picked up inside on time. I will say, the photos uploaded by other users don't do the interior justice; it's really well-designed and has great atmosphere. Here's the breakdown of our order: Shishito Queso and chips- the most unexpected delight of our night! The queso was tasty, but the chips were SO good! Definitely made in-house and a bit on the thicker side (like pita chips) w a great seasoning mix. We couldn't stop eating them. Corn fritters- another favorite, with caveats. They were delicious, BUT overly salted for the most part. The sauce it's paired with helped balance that out nicely, but without sauce some were approaching inedibly salty. Others didn't seem salty at all, so I think they must be dusted w salt after frying and it just doesn't have even coverage. We still ate them all. Brussels sprout- fine, but nothing special. Neither of us could detect any flavor other than brussels, though they were cooked well. Char siu pork belly rice bowl- husband loved it. I had a taste and it was pretty good altogether, pork seemed a bit drier vs saucy, but maybe that's more authentic than others I've had. Well-seasoned. Brisket rice bowl- ordered this thinking brisket obviously makes anything good...and I actually regret it. The brisket was great. The rice bowl ingredients were great. But the two just did not meld together in any cohesive way. The overwhelming smokiness of the brisket took over and made for a confusing flavor experience. The only rice bowl ingredient that could compete was the single sprig of cilantro...everything else was enveloped in brisketness. I would definitely not order again. Overall, I value the creativity and quality Loro is bringing to the table, and even their misses still never dropped below average. Solid four stars, and would come again and try something else.

LORO at The Domain was recommended by a close friend, so we decided to give it a try. We went on a Sunday evening, and the place was jam-packed with about a 30-minute wait. They have a beautiful patio with a bar with plenty of seating option, which made the wait pleasant. and relaxed. LORO offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Because of the wait, we chose outdoor seating. Even though it was a cold evening, the standing heaters kept us warm and comfortable. For drinks, I initially wanted to order the Pinthouse Electric Jellyfish Hazy IPA, but they were out of it. The staff kindly offered a Vista Brewing Pale Ale on the house, which was a really thoughtful gesture. We also enjoyed the Live Oak Hefeweizen and the Ginger Hibiscus Agua Fresca. For food, my husband and Son ordered the Chicken Karaage, which my son absolutely loved--crispy and flavorful. They also tried the LORO Smoked Wings and the Malaysian Curry Chicken Bowl, and both were very good. I ordered the Crispy Szechuan Tofu Bowl, and it was satisfying with great flavor. Overall, the food and drinks were good, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was lively. It's a great place to try at The Domain.

01/2026 This was my first time at Loro with my wife. We came in on a Friday around 6:30 PM. There are parking garages nearby, would probably be your best bet than trying for street parking. The restaurant was super busy, and we waited about 20 minutes to be sat. It's a decent size with both indoor and outdoor seating options. When we were finally sat we were given menus and you place your order at a counter. We split our meal--I ordered the "Smokehouse Sampler": Oak smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, smoked wings, cabbage salad and crispy potatoes. The plate was good! My favorites were the wings and the potatoes--both had great flavors and their sauces enhanced them!! The pulled pork just didn't taste very fresh and the brisket was just okay. In addition to the plate we shared an order of the "Smoked Baby Back Pork Ribs"--they were tender, flavorful and delicious!!!! Definitely recommend them on your visit. Lastly, we also added an order of the "Sesame Rice Noodles"--rice noodles with chili vinaigrette, black sesame, green onion and cilantro. It was also delicious, had a little kick to it. Overall a good experience with most of the ordered items being delicious. Will come back to try more menu items!

Absolutely loved the food first at my first time dining at Loro. The curry chicken bowl was rich in flavor from the curry sauce and the rice was fluffy cooked to perfection. I actually added the crunchy cabbage salad into my bowl to create a crunchy texture and make the meal more hearty. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a fun trendy vibe. I didn't love the style that all the dishes are brought out at different times because we ended up not realizing until after we left that we were never brought the charred broccoli that we ordered. I highly recommend Loro for the unique dishes and incredible flavors.

This was my first time checking out the Loro HH and I was pleasantly surprised. They had so many great options all for under $10 which is really rare nowadays for HH. It was nice to see good portions for a discounted price. This is one of the best happy hours and I'd be happy to visit again and try more items.

Sesame Rice Noodle

The food was simply amazing!! We ordered items from different parts of their menu. From their "shareables" section: 1. Their crunchy sweet corn fritters were the best!! Flavorful, perfect crunch-factor, and the dipping sauce complemented it, but it's just as amazing without it.This gets a 10/10 2. Their Thai Smoked Wings (Thai wings) were bland, and we won't be ordering it again unless they change the recipe. It was a bit tart or tangy and lacked depth. Was expecting a coconut flavor since there's mention of coconut, but it was absent(1/10). From their Meats section: Their Char Siew Pork Belly was delightful, flavorful, and simply delicious. We loved this! (10/10). From their Sides: 1. We ordered their Crispy Potatoes and let me tell you, these were the absolute BEST crispy potatoes I've ever had. Very crispy on the outside and yet very tender on the inside, along with lots of flavor, just how I like my food. 2. Their Sesame Rice Noodles were basic but I felt it complemented the mother dishes very well, but you could easily opt out and not feel like you were missing out. Regarding the service, all the food we ordered came to us fairly quickly and easily, even when we staggered our order. I must say, I wasn't thrilled with having to get back on the line to order additional items. So, basically, you initially grab a menu and get on the line, then you are given a device and you can keep an open tab. You sit at the table of your choice and no one comes to check on you other than to bring you your food, (but someone did check on us once and we're thankful for that). The least favorite part is when you want to order additional items, you have to get back on the line and leave your family/friends for a moment at the table; and if there's a line of people ordering, you basically have to wait. Now, if there's another system or process in place to simply add on items without getting back on the line, that wasn't explained or obvious to us. The ambience was relaxed, lots of seating options both in/outside. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will absolutely come back and likely bring the children with us next time.

Loro is always so popular no matter what day! I love their other locations, so I was so ecstatic to try the location at The Domain, cause then we can walk around and shop after eating! I parked in the pink garage since it was nearby. I came with some friends for dinner on a Thursday and did not have any issue getting a table inside. There was a line to order, but it moved fast. We shared a char siu rice bowl, crunchy cabbage salad with crispy chicken, and oak smoked beef brisket. They gave us a number to put on our table and brought the food out as it was ready. A staff member was so nice to bring us silverware and plates. We were able to pour and refill our own waters. The brisket had a nice smokey flavor. The salad was so fresh and citrusy. The char siu was nicely marinated and the strong flavor was balanced nicely with the white rice and fresh herbs. This is an awesome, casual place to bring your family or a group of friends.

It's kind of an oasis in the Domain...come in to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Domain shopping mania. They have a couple $5 beer option which is always nice! Our food was good, not amazing but when in the Domain, we will probably stop by here...

The space is set up like a bright, casual brunch hall rather than a cocktail bar--harsh, bright lighting, uncomfortable wooden chairs, and basic wooden square tables that don't align with the concept AT ALL. There's no food offering, yet the environment feels designed for daytime dining rather than an evening bar experience. From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there.
