Tonight we went to Gainesville Seafood Market. One of the advantages they have is a large parking lot with plenty of room. The food at both places is so close it is hard to call an overall winner. I would agree with someone's post that the clam chowder is a bit thin and could use to be thicker, but they make up for that fact with the sizable amount of Clams. Everything we have tried here was well,prepared and tasted great. Service was fast and efficient. The attitude of the employees was very welcoming and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. It was a Friday night and close to closing, not much of a crowd, but still over all an enjoyable meal.

We shared it among six people, and it was just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. Our server was very friendly, and the restaurant itself is really cute. Around 7pm on Saturday evening, just as we were leaving, a man and woman started performing live music with vocals and guitar.
