Blue Bicycle is located in a side plaza behind the back end of the No GA Outlets. There was plenty of parking and a friendly staff to greet us. While we were waiting a couple shared this is their go-to spot. The restaurant was cozy and tables gave off a date night kind of vibe. Our waitress was friendly and gave us a minute to scan the QR code and figure out what we wanted for brunch. I ordered eggs Benedict, bacon, home fries and a quarter waffle. My friend ordered fruit and eggs. The sous-vie prep was not for us, the eggs were runny at best. The hollandise was all right, not best I've had but fine. The portions of food weren't great especially for the price. Vibe & Service get stars, food and value don't. I've heard they're great for drinks and snacks- I can see that being true. For us it was too early on Sunday.

$$-$$$ I am not sure if there is more than one "The Blue Bicycle" in Georgia, but this Blue Bicycle is located in Dawsonville. I think giving this establishment three stars is stretching it a bit. If I could break down the stars given for this particular visit, it would be as follows : Five stars for service... Julia was fabulous and we were grateful that she was on top of taking good care of us. The rest of the staff seemed very nice as well. The ambience inside was small, but very nice and comfortable. Now for the bad news! We were the second couple seated in the restaurant because we waited outside for them to open thinking that a brunch on Sunday would be pretty busy. Georgia law states that a restaurant establishment cannot serve alcohol before 12 noon, so opening your doors at 10:30 for a Sunday brunch that serves mimosas is probably not a good idea, or make a statement that mimosas will not be served until after 12. It took forever for our food to arrive after we ordered. And let me tell you, when they say that the servings are small, they are not lying! My friend, Rich, is tall and slender and, like me, likes to have a good meal. The eggs Benedict should be called "egg Benedict". It is served on one english muffin with one poached egg and a piece of meat of your choice. The egg that I received on top of my Benedict looks like it had not been cooked thoroughly... the whites of the egg look like snot (my apologies if that grossed out anybody, but I write it like I see it). The yolk of the egg was fine, but I actually took apart the Benedict leaving the whites of the egg in the bowl that it was served. The fruit medley was a small dish of fruit with some kind of berry vinaigrette, but was very yummy. The wonderful people that I went with on this initial visit to The Blue Bicycle here Dawsonville deemed this visit "one and done". For the amount of food that is served at the price that they ask is out of my budget for brunch. Places like this make me think that the bottom line is not the customer, but the profit. Remember, this is my experience... You can certainly go find out for yourself. Make memories and safe journeys to all!

Pretentious fare in a strip commercial building behind the outlet mall. Certainly, the new owners do a better job than the previous ones.

The flavors of the bruschetta were more then i could have imagined, you would thing it would be overly salty with it being wrapped in steak but everything meshes together so perfectly. Service was excellent, we were very well taken care of and thanks to our waitress for recommending the bruschetta because me and my dad were in awe. The ambiance is beautiful, very asthetic yet elegant and comfortable. All around a wonderful experience. My dad and I were very pleased, and he's picky.

The cauliflower appetizer was a hit with everyone and the portion was huge. I personally would have preferred it to be cooked a little less, as it was quite soft. The patatas bravas were decent. The tres leches cake was excellent and came as a generous slice. The milk was served on the side, which we poured over the cake. We shared it among six people, and it was just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. Our server was very friendly, and the restaurant itself is really cute. Around 7pm on Saturday evening, just as we were leaving, a man and woman started performing live music with vocals and guitar. We were on our way to the Lou Sobh Amphitheater (just a quick walk over) to see a cover band, which made for a fun night out. This whole area in Cumming is a great place to hang out.

Most restaurants have growing pains during the first few months after opening. We all learn through our mistakes. Whatever problems Arepa may have had, they learned and have exceeded my expectations. Now, on to the review of the food. This is not at all like Mexican food. I would consider a major step up from Mexican. All the dishes sounded good on the menu so we took the Tour option to decide what we liked. It was hard to decide because all the small dishes were tasty! The service was prompt and attentive. Water refilled before being empty or half full. We were asked what we thought of the dishes and loved them all. The desserts are large and delicious. We will definitely return and bring friends to share a wonderful experience and fabulous new cuisine. Tell your friends to ignore the old negative reviews from 2025 and don't pass up on a gastronomical experience. I liked the flavor plenty, but the pancake was not even warm, and the chicken was merely lukewarm. This might've been a 4-star review, but details matter...especially details of some significance.

I love to snap pictures of others food but really could only do that with the Greek salad that my neighbor had ordered. I had lunch option for sushi. The gal across me ordered Cioppino. The sandwiches looked marvelous and saw several people packing up half of their dishes to take home. The ambiance is very clean and crisp. Even though the kitchen is in the middle of the back of the restaurant... A classic open style that seems to be popular these days... Not to the point anyone waited a long time for a correction and with a party as large as ours I think they did a great job. The food was good. We were served three appetizers [chopped salad, bourbon glazed brussels, seafood fondue] family style. I don't eat pork so I loved that the bacon was on the side for the brussels, which were delicious, and the chopped salad was equally as good. I don't eat shellfish either so I didn't try the fondue, but everyone around me who did, enjoyed it. The entree I had at the restaurant was the pan seared chicken which was pretty good although it could have used a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon. I also had the cacio e pepe to go and it may have been my favorite thing I've had thus far from here. I did not order any beverages other than water, but next time I think I'll try a cocktail as they looked tasty. I live an hour plus away from this location so I probably won't be returning soon, but if in the area again I would definitely eat here again.

They had live music, dancing, it was great vibe. We started with the shrimp, served in a rich, garlicky sauce with plenty of sliced garlic and peppers. The shrimp were cooked nicely, and the sauce was probably the best part. The large piece of bread on top was perfect for soaking up everything left in the skillet. The grilled octopus was another good dish. It had a nice char on the outside while still being tender, and it came with roasted potatoes, onions, fresh garnish, and grilled lemon. The lemon helped brighten everything up and balanced out the smoky flavor of the octopus. We also ordered the potatoes, which came out crispy and heavily seasoned with a creamy dipping sauce. Simple dish, but very easy to keep eating. They were crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the sauce worked really well with them. For something a little heavier, we tried the steak with chimichurri and roasted potatoes. The steak had a good sear and was cooked nicely, and the chimichurri added a lot of fresh garlic and herb flavor. The potatoes on the side were tender and soaked up some of the juices from the steak. Overall, the food was flavorful and the portions worked well for sharing. I like places where you can order several different things instead of committing to one entrée, and Eclipse Di Luna definitely gives you that experience. I'd come back and try even more of the tapas next time.
