Tortilla soup - served very warm with fresh avocado on top which is always my favorite! Full of flavor and a hint of heat. The Elote was some of the best I've had and the white sangria and margarita, SO refreshing. No band this time, but there was an amazing dancer going around the tables *with fire* !!! Entertainment was 10/10 and the energy in the restaurant is so lively and fun. Staff was fantastic offering very attentive service.

Our server Alessandra was amazing! We really enjoyed her suggestions with the Tuna Tostada and Alaskan Halibut. We were not crazy about the fajitas although they are stunning in the display. Panna Cotta was our dessert (which was creamy and delicious) as they were out of Tres Leches. The dining room is nice and with an outside the near the live music stage.

Best tasting food, beautiful presentation, lovely atmosphere and nice staff! All the elements of a perfect evening out! If you check them out on Taco Tuesday, know tacos are half price. It will get you hooked to go back for tacos on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday!

This is my 2nd time eating here and it was just a good as the first time!! The decor is nice, good music (not too loud), our waitress was amazing and so was the food!! The calamari was great and I can't remember the name of the other dish but it was fried seafood and mussels and the taste was sensational!! A def goto when I'm in the area and I will be back

We were here on a work trip and decided to try Santa Maria, and I'm so glad we did. Our server was knowledgeable, and attentive. Inside it had a moody low key vibe with great music playing live but not too loud. As for the food, it was heaven on a plate. I got all 5 different oysters they had, the tuna, and the BEST clam chowder I have ever had!! My friend got the pear salad and a shrimp taco and she said it was all so good. We had churros which were out of this world, I didn't even know they could be that good. The tiramisu tres leche cake was good too but I'd get the churros next time.

Santa Maria is an amazing place it's a beautiful restaurant the service is 5 star and the food was amazing. It all started with our sever Seriana forgive me if I miss spelled her name but she was an excellent severe she explained the menu and the daily specials. And then one of the manger's stop at out table and asked about our experience so far before we got our dinner and that's what I call attention to detail. I ordered the pork belly appetizer to start and it was delicious. I had the ceviche D Costa and it was amazing I love Ceviche and this was one of the best I have ever had. My wife had the Empanadas and she loved them as well. A must try restaurant and we we be regulars. Thank you Santa Maria

Where do I start.... from the moment we were greeted at the door, to our server Karla making awesome recommendations for cocktails, appetizers and dinner options were fanominal. Service, food execution, table touch follow-up by Force everything was a 10! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out on a stellar perfect night out for any occasion!

Half avocado stuffed with ceviche

What a great new addition to Cumming City Center!! We stopped in for a date night on a Friday and were able to secure reservations a few hours prior. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and the server came shortly after. We wanted to order half of the menu but settled on the tuna tostada, the avocado stuffed with ceviche, the chicken arepa, the salad with mango and strawberries, and the paella. When I say everything was amazing, I mean it! After spending some time in Spain this summer I must say this was the best stateside meal I've had since that trip. I think my top 2 dishes were the tuna tostada and the mango/strawberry salad, although literally everything was delicious. We cannot wait to go back!

Churasco Steak entree- AMAZING

What an amazing meal and experience! Food: 5 out of 5- an absolutely delicious meal. We started with a half dozen of fresh oysters and they wet amazing (forgot to take a pic) / then we had Oysters Parmesan, The Mexican Basket, the Pirrnah Steak and the Churasca Steak. All were delicious and one of the best meals we have had lately. Ambiance: the restaurant was busy and there were musicians playing great music and a dancer, interacting with the diners, and teaching people to dance. It was fun and lively. Service: our waitress was very attentive, educated us on the menu and very helpful Price: reasonable priced for the amazing food. For 3 people, 4 cocktails, 2 tapas, 1 entree and oysters, plus tip, it was approx $200 Bathroom: clean and spacious Parking: park behind the restaurant- plenty of parking We will definitely be back!

Alright, this is one of those times that I must say some honest words that aren't all glowing and…read morepositive but I shall be fair as well. This is a good restaurant on the verge of greatness, short version. The longer version reads like this: First, the service here at Sanctuary on the Square is warm, fast, a pleasant feel. And the space itself is cool, on an awesome little small downtown square, so lots of positives to mention. Now, I LOVE tapas. IMO it is a cuisine tailored to the show off chef, but that also means it must be done with flair, beauty and flavor. LOTS of flavor... and that's what was missing here tonight. The goat cheese croquettes were nice and the shrimp scampi was too, but is "nice" what the kitchen is hoping to hear? I'm thinking not. Even the blue cheese on the gorgeous wedge salad was a tad underwhelming. Three dishes and I did not finish even one of them. Now, to be fair, I have very high standards and a breadth of food experience, so if the kitchen insists I expect too much, they could be on to something. And honestly I'd bet this was a mid-week off night, so ultimately I suggest you give it a try and decide for yourself. For me, though, it came in just under the standard I'm looking for. Cheers until the next one!

We came in on a Saturday night as a party of two with no reservation, and they were kind enough to…read moreseat us. Our waiter was pleasant, attentive, and genuinely tried -- so none of this reflects on him. We tip regularly, and we still did, because the issues we experienced felt more like management and kitchen pacing, not server error. The biggest problem was the timing of the food, and it was honestly awful. Our soups and appetizer came out almost at the same time, which I could have overlooked -- but then the entrée was dropped on the table immediately after the soup, with no pacing at all. It wasn't even our waiter bringing the food; it was other staff members just setting plates down without checking where we were in the meal. Because my entrée was seafood, it cooled down quickly while I tried to finish the earlier courses. Then the scallops came out undercooked, partially clear in the center. When I mentioned it, the waiter said it's a common complaint because they don't cook them long or they fall apart. He took them back, and they came out more cooked -- still not great, but at least edible. The dish itself (with black bean hummus, corn, and avocado) wasn't worth the price. The corn tasted like cold canned corn, and overall the entrée just didn't feel special. My husband had the spinach, chicken, and bacon salad and enjoyed it. Both soups -- tomato basil and butternut squash -- were delicious. The brie rosemary dip was just okay. There were a few flies around the table, which was annoying, and the inside is a bit dark, so more lighting would help. I can see myself coming back to try more soups, salads, appetizers, and burgers here, but I'll avoid the dinner entrées unless reviews become more consistently positive. There's definitely room for improvement, especially with pacing and kitchen execution.

We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, my husband ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the lettuce wraps app as my main. The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

We shared several tapas: paella verduras, Pulpo parrilla (grilled octopus), Pan con tomate, empanadas with beef, Calamares fritos (calamari) , Espárragos (asparagus), and Patatas bravas. Everything was absolutely delicious! One of my favorite items of the night was the bread with tomato (pan con tomate)! The bread was toasted perfectly and came with garlic and grated tomato to spread on it, along with a sprinkling of greens. My typical favorite at Spanish restaurants (patatas bravas) was done very well here too, with the right crunch and tasty sauces. The perfectly tender octopus came with a side of beans that I wished to ask for the recipe for because they were seasoned so nicely! The calamari was breaded lightly which allowed the natural flavors to shine. The beef empanadas were juicy and crisp. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. It was kind of a lot, but that's also due to the menu, which took me awhile to decide on what to eat. Our server was attentive and helpful. We had questions, and he answered to the best of his abilities. He also brought out chips and sauces while we were looking through the menu and described each sauce. We liked the jalapeno and garlic ones the most! The arepa tour was a nice way to try different flavors without having to commit to one choice. The arepas tasted good, though I definitely preferred some over others. If you are not a savory and sweet enjoyer, I would not recommend Pabellon as you can taste the fried plantain in each bite. I liked it, but my friend found it an odd combination. I wasn't the biggest fan of shredded chicken, but that's bc it's typically dry, and while this wasn't super dry, it wasn't exactly as flavorful as the other options. For the main course, the asado negro sounded right up my alley as the arepa version went into detail with how the beef is braised in red wine and sugar cane. It left much to be desired when I ordered the big plate non-arepa version. Just off looks, it wasn't as visually appealing as others' dishes were. Eating it... well, the meat was very, very dry. The sauce was fine, but it didn't help with the dryness of the meat. I most likely ordered wrong since everything else was great. I got quesillo for dessert, which was described as flan, and I found it pretty good. Thicker than I'm used to and not as smooth but with a lovely cinnamon flavor.
