This was my first time visiting the restaurant but the other 5 people in our party had all been here before. We were celebrating a very big birthday for someone and I had heard good things but my overall experience was ok but not great. - No bread plate on one of the place settings. - wait staff was slow to get drinks or get back to us for drinks. They didn't take empty glasses from the table when they brought new drinks. The waiter would ask one person if they needed drinks but not others who were clearly out. They should have checked on the whole table. - Caesar salad was good. - On the main entree's, 4 out of the 6 plates came out at one time without the rest of the parties plates coming out. Had to wait about 5 mins for the other two plates, which caused some items to not be as hot as they should have been. Time frame management appeared to be off in the kitchen. - Lobster scampi was good. - Petite Filet was cooked to correct temperature and tasty. - Prime NY Strip 10 oz was cooked perfectly but the overall taste was a little less than I was expecting for a prime NY Strip. - Creamed spinach was very good along with the Brussel sprouts. Asparagus with hollandaise was ok but the hollandaise was cold and hollandaise sauce should be warm when served--never cold. Bathrooms were clean. Pastries were good. Chocolate ganache was the least favorite but the cheesecake, homemade vanilla gelato with strawberries was very tasty. Carrot cake was great. Crème brûlée was probably my favorite. They did apologize about the service as they said that there was a big party that took a lot of their time. Even a manger came over and apologized. They took 25% off the bill for the Inconvenience. However, this shows that they were probably attentive to their every detail and forgetting about trying to take care of those smaller groups or tables that make up a majority of their business. Bartenders in the cigar/bar area of the restaurant were great, very attentive and quick with their drinks, which is more than I could say for the wait staff at our table. Musician in this area was great.

Another amazing dining experience! Came here for a business dinner with colleagues. The ambience was great. My only qualm is that there is an inclosed section off of the dining room that allows cigar smoking. I'm not a fan of cigars but it wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, oysters, and fried lobster tails as appetizers. I ordered the daily special which was the 14 oz Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection! A bunch of shareable sides like the creamed corn, broccolini, Brussels, and other items. Ended with a few desserts including the chocolate ganache cake. Service was top tier! I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Alpharetta

Visited during a restaurant week and were very impressed. Great service, and the menu of calamari, filet and choc cake was perfect. My mid-rare filet was a touch overcooked but that's being a bit picky. We will definitely return soon.

Hubby surprised me with a surprise date for our anniversary! So I had no idea where we were going. I've never heard of this place or knew what to even expect. Parking: free valet parking First impression: I was not very impressed to say the least lol. As soon as you walk in, there is another door to a cigar smoking room. It's very faint (to some, not me) but you can smell it. And I know most people who come here would know that but I had no idea. It reminds me of being in a casino restaurant lol. But otherwise, the place has old school vibes and upscale ambiance. Food: Fresh Oysters 10/10. They're huge! Cabernet sampler: included 2 fried lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, & crab cake. Delicious! 22oz bone in ribeye medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION. I love that didn't try to get fancy and salt the heck out of it. I hate when my steak taste salty. Creamed corn: 6/10. Brussels sprouts: 5/10. Good flavor but we wished it was crispy. Overall: I'd probably come back. But asked to be seated somewhere on the other end away from the smoking room.

I recently came here for lunch and it's been a while since I ha visited but was the perfect meeting spot for my friend's bday this past week. The decor and feel are upscale and classy. Lots of great choices for healthy eating off the lunch menu. Located Just off 400 exit 11.They also have a wonderful dinner menu. Our server was quite polite and accommodating and made great choices for us. We definitely will return.

This place is very nice and very fancy. There is valet parking or you have to pay for parking if you don't do valet. Overall the food is pretty good. The filet was great but the ribeye was tough and dry. I wasn't a big fan of that. The twice baked potato was AMAZING. It was so good. The creamed spinach wasn't that great. I would personally skip that side. The crème brûlée and peanut butter chocolate cake was great! I would also like to shoutout Lemonte (not sure about spelling) but he was honestly the nicest waiter I have ever had. He was great and he represented this restaurant well. It was fantastic service.

We got the Prix Fix menu and it was good. It would have been better if the steak had a little crust on it. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines.

    Filet medium rare was perfect!

Excellent dinner at Cabernet this week! This was my first time dining at this restaurant in a few years, and it's still as good as I remember. Sitting inside you feel like you're in a great steakhouse and the meal lives up to it. Our party of 4 each ordered steak. I went with a 12 oz filet, medium rare, with brandy peppercorn sauce. Outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly. Sides of creamed spinach, twice baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes, made for a memorable meal. We had to of course, order a nice bottle of Cabernet, and Brandlin from Napa Valley was perfect. If you're in Alpharetta and looking for a great dinner, I highly recommend Cabernet!

The sides were just as strong. The beef tallow frites were crisp, the creamed corn was rich and comforting, and the mushrooms were fantastic. The mac and cheese was good, but if we had to choose between the sides we ordered, it's the one we could have skipped. We shared a bottle of Charles Krug that was recommended by our server and paired well with the meal. The ambiance added to the experience. The dining room is dimly lit, with warm stained wood throughout and an open‑kitchen layout. Even with some of the tables set fairly close together, it never felt cramped or intrusive. Our server, David, made the night even better. He was attentive without hovering and offered thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot‑on. We finished with the maple bourbon crème brûlée and an espresso martini, both of which were excellent. Truly enjoyed the entire experience and would happily return.

Oh my goodness we've got two baskets at the table and I believe we took some home. The bread is delicious. Obviously we ate them so fast I didn't even take a picture. For our mains, we both decided on the oak burger and we both added the delicious thick cut meats of bacon and oh my goodness the fries. Our server was absolutely amazing. Even the manager came over to greet us. This place is just incredible. I started off with a bourbon martini that my wonderful server recommended. then I believe I had two of those and for dessert. We were in the neighbourhood, about 30 miles from home, for an afternoon banquet. The Man decided on this place because we had once checked it out after a breakfast nearby. He remembered it. From the moment we entered, service was excellent. We were seated quickly & without fuss though we had no reservation. It was a bit early so I don't know that it counts. Debra greeted us with warm courtesy and a welcoming smile. She treated us like guests in her home. My favourite? She didn't hover. The music was perfect for the environment... Sinatra and the best of the era. Modern, clean, (commercial) steakhouse decor. Whether it's a chain or not, they've got the formula down. We started with rich, generously seasoned devilled eggs topped with bacon. They were tasty but needed the bacon for the taste to work. They were great but we had to take some home to be able to eat our entrees. The Man ordered a bowl of chili. Again, it was ambitious but delicious. Our steaks were cooked to order. Pretty close to perfection, I have to say. (A medium NY Strip & a rare 6oz filet). Our sides were lumpy, rich, mashed potatoes (not whipped nor puréed), steamed (barely) broccoli, minimal but excellent white cheddar mac & cheese, and creamed corn. The corn was seasoned & creamy with whole kernels and baked. It was all delicious. If you're in the area, you can't go wrong. Caritas
