Basically a plain cheese slice with lines of pesto sauce across it. The chicken parmigiana calzone was piping hot, the chicken was cut up into very small pieces with mozzarella cheese. I was particularly hungry when I ordered and it satisfied my hunger. Would I say it was the best calzone I've tested, there is no way. I would rate it a 5.6 out of 10 for overall flavor. So, it was middle of the line good. The pesto slice was 6 out of 10 for overall flavor. It was dripping and oozing oil from the end of the fold onto the plate. Which wasn't appetizing. Too oily for my taste. So overall the place gets a solid 5 out of 10. Ambiance is okay it's a typical bronx owned pizzeria. They deliver through UBER and interestingly enough to me, they were playing Italian Music videos on the screen through the YouTube channel. I'm being generous because I was hungry. I'd imagine I would have rated this pizzeria lower if I wasn't as hungry.

Still has its original menu with the same seats. Love this so much. This place has not changed a bit. There are still a few employees there that I remember which is great to see this establishment survive during the pandemic. Service was great. This was a phone order to pick up and it was ready right away. I had a small talk with one of the employees and you can tell they make sure every customer is being served. Employee said this place is probably over 30 years old. Nice to know this info. There was a small line and employees handled it very well. Now the food. We ordered a large chicken pie and a pepperoni pie. 3 Star for the Chicken pie: it was VERY doughy. Chicken was on the drier side. Cheese was ok. Don't remember it like this before however I guess things have changed. 4 star for the pepperoni pie: it was also VERY doughy. However, cheese and pepperoni was tastier than the chicken. Definitely recommend if you do not mind the amount of dough. Overall a 4 star experience. It was nostalgic moment for my wife and I and very happy to see locals supporting this business all these years. After reading the previous reviews, I recommend buying a fresh made pie and taking it out to your place no more than 5-10 minutes. Once we got home, pizza was still warm to eat.

I ordered and sat to wait. I didn't notice how short the time was from placing the order to recording the slice. I bit into it and it was cold like a poorly microwaved meal. 2. Poor customer service. I was trying to order but the staff was more interested in his conversation with his coworker and another customer. He then apologized and asked for my order. 3. The pizza itself tasted bad. The sauce tasted like Ragu marinara sauce, the cheese was virtually nonexistent and the crust was tough and doughy (potentially undercooked). I'm not sure how they are able to function as a business like this and not have any customers every day or get shut down. My guess: they give their favorite regulars better food and serve mediocrity to the rest of us.

I thought it was going to be superficially large pizza with a horrible taste. ON THE CONTRARY - NO! The pizza was delicious and I found the salt content to be reasonable, perfectly salted. I paid 38$ for the super sized pizza. My kids devoured it, while my wife took pictures of of the kids eating their kite sized pizza slices. I highly recommend this "Bronx Style" pizzeria. The pizza is well cooked, medium to thin sized pizza and the ratio of cheese to tomato sauce is distributed evenly with a slightly cheesier taste than tomato.

Unfortunately, the food I ate fell very short of my expectations. I ordered a few slices of both their regular pizza and Sicilian. The Sicilian slices barely had any sauce and too much dough that was not flavorful at all. The cheese did not taste that good either. The regular pizza slices also lacked flavor and sauce. They were also too thin and the crust was only a little crispy. The fresh mozzarella and tomato slice tasted the worst while the slice with pepperoni was somewhat better. I'm not sure if my experience with this restaurant is an outlier, but I was very disappointed with their food. If I am ever in the area where this pizzeria is located, maybe I might stop in to get a slice to see if eating in person leads to a better experience.
