Bronx native here. I now reside in Florida. The last time I ate pizza here was in 2016. This was my wife's go to pizza place living in Kingsbridge. Below is my honest review. Ambience. Still has its original menu with the same seats. Love this so much. This place has not changed a bit. There are still a few employees there that I remember which is great to see this establishment survive during the pandemic. Service was great. This was a phone order to pick up and it was ready right away. I had a small talk with one of the employees and you can tell they make sure every customer is being served. Employee said this place is probably over 30 years old. Nice to know this info. There was a small line and employees handled it very well. Now the food. We ordered a large chicken pie and a pepperoni pie. 3 Star for the Chicken pie: it was VERY doughy. Chicken was on the drier side. Cheese was ok. Don't remember it like this before however I guess things have changed. 4 star for the pepperoni pie: it was also VERY doughy. However, cheese and pepperoni was tastier than the chicken. Definitely recommend if you do not mind the amount of dough. Overall a 4 star experience. It was nostalgic moment for my wife and I and very happy to see locals supporting this business all these years. After reading the previous reviews, I recommend buying a fresh made pie and taking it out to your place no more than 5-10 minutes. Once we got home, pizza was still warm to eat. read more

Work in the area and hit bored with my lunch options. I craved a good NYC pizza and tried this parlor. Unimpressed and actually very disappointed. 1. Pizza was cold. I ordered and sat to wait. I didn't notice how short the time was from placing the order to recording the slice. I bit into it and it was cold like a poorly microwaved meal. 2. Poor customer service. I was trying to order but the staff was more interested in his conversation with his coworker and another customer. He then apologized and asked for my order. 3. The pizza itself tasted bad. The sauce tasted like Ragu marinara sauce, the cheese was virtually nonexistent and the crust was tough and doughy (potentially undercooked). I'm not sure how they are able to function as a business like this and not have any customers every day or get shut down. My guess: they give their favorite regulars better food and serve mediocrity to the rest of us. read more

i had very high hopes for this pizza due to their amazing looking instagram, unfortunately i was very let down. not sure where to begin- the pizza arrived very cold, like freezer cold. however, we ordered through uber eats so this can't be necessarily blamed on the restaurant. the actual pizza however- great in size but thats the only positive really. the CRUST was legit raw, like you literally could not chew through it without your jaw hurting since it was more or less dough, and a lot of it. also most upsetting of all was the lack of cheese on the pizza. it almost looked as if someone had eaten the top layer of cheese near the thickest part of crust, but really there was just none on there. I'm not even sure what this was, mostly like some canned mushrooms and broccoli on raw dough. super sad at this pizza experience, we ended up throwing most of it out. maybe other locations are different, or maybe this was a fluke pizza of theirs. if I ever for some reason had to try again, i would def ask for the pie to be cooked well done. read more

My go to pizza spot in the kingsbridge area ! -Cash only location. ATMs are available. -no bathrooms - the staff are very polite, bilingual in Spanish and English - they have a mini pizza pie special in cheese or pepperoni for 5$. - delivery available. Will never use their delivery service again because I ordered an extra cheese pizza and barely even received any cheese on it..all you could see was the dough and red sauce! I've never had an issue with them like that before. I prefer to order my pizza for pick up or eat it there since I could see what I'm getting. read more

Received a luke warm sausage mushrrom pie with hardly any sauce. The pie crust was pale and undercooked. Emelios said I had to call Uber Eats to return in order to get refunded or to get a replacement. Uber Eats said they cannot do a return or refund me. So now am hangry and out of 20bucks. 7 bucks of which were Uber Fees and tip!!! read more

I cannot call them pizza, they are simply not edible. If I could I would give them no star. My coworkers order pizza to be delivered to our hospital several times. The pizza is very dry, stale, and expansive. A slice of vegetables pizza cost over $3 when we order the whole pie. Can't believe this place is still in business with this kind of quality. If it is in Queens, Brooklyn or Manhattan, it will be out of business in less than a month. read more

Getting a decent slice of pizza from a neighborhood joint is--sadly--becoming increasingly difficult in New York. The pizza here is very good, certainly better than any other place in a wide swath of the Bronx. Two minor quibbles: there is very limited seating, and a martial arts school is located upstairs. At certain times of day you can hear the stumping above*, not that it really doesn't matters, but I found it odd enough. Currently (Fall '11) they have a great $5 micro pie special. *Seriously, at first you will think that the ceiling is about to fall. read more

Mediocre pizza. The "mini pies" are premade and stored under the dusty counters for god knows how long untill you come in amd order one. Ones pulled from underneath the counter and tossed in the oven. Its stale as hell. They trying to compete with Little Caesar's "Hot and Ready" angle but in this case its more like "Cold and Stale". read more

3 stars is as best as it's going to get. The pizza here is always too greasy like wayyyyyyy too greasy and it's always falling apart, on top of it all it always seems when I get a pepperoni pie it's undercooked ‍ I won't be ordering from here again. read more

Best bang for buck pizza parlor in the Bronx. I always get their cheese pizza (around $3 i think)- always served fresh and hot. The guys behind the counter are very accommodating and anticipate your needs, handing you the parmesan or basil or chili oil (in short they remember your preferences if you go there often). My only word of caution would be that the made to order pies can be soggy, as opposed to just getting the slices on display. read more

The pizza here is nothing special. The pizza is sometimes undercooked and without flavor. I wouldn't call it authentic whatsoever. However, I've had worse. There's room for seating and the people that work there move fairly quickly. Overall I would give this place a 3 out of 5. read more

Emilio's pizza is pretty good. I am a fan of the mini pie and have had their beef patty with coco bread. Although, the last time I ordered the beef patty and coco bread I was a little disturbed to see they grabbed the 2 they had behind the sign in front of it that says display only. Seems those beef patties were there lord knows how long before they decided to feed it to someone. They are not the cleanest either as the same people that touch your food to put in the oven are the same people that handle your money without washing their hands in between. read more
