I use to live in Bakersfield and although it's huge town healthy restaurants are not easy to find. I found this place on Yelp. My daughter and I decided to give it a try. The location was odd but we went in anyway. Wow, we are so pleased that we did. The atmosphere was breezy and clean. Minimalist and modern. The staff was personal and professional, yet friendly. The food was delicious. We had the pancakes and oatmeal brûlée. Absolutely perfect. You can taste the extra passion they put into their food. It tasted like dessert but was a healthy breakfast made with clean ingredients. Loved it! We will be back for sure!

I have recently been obsessed with the churro French toast, it's already so good that I don't even have to cover it in any extra syrup, just dipping the toast in the yummy cinnamon butter is *drool*. The neon signs are especially fun too. I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was the first to arrive, and since they don't do reservations, I requested a table. We were expected to be quite a large party (approx.10-12), so it was pretty difficult getting seated quickly since they had to figure out spacing. But that's understandable with how limited the seating is already. I was between getting the zucchini fries and the brussels sprouts, because their brussels sprouts are so tasty and flavorful. But ended up ordering the zucchini fries, because they are incredible! They're nice, hot and crispy, and go amazing with their ranch! For my main dish I ordered the Wild Caught Cajun Salmon Salad. I had never had it before but it was really good & filling! The food took a little long to come out, but again, it was understandable with the amount of people in our party. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit and will definitely come back!
