His pricing is also beyond reasonable, especially since he uses a lot of the quality materials to ensure that your bathroom lasts a lifetime. He also provides his recommendations, from measurements of how much tiles you need for the shower and the floor, edge trim, and the baseboards, anything else you want to add to your bathroom to which brands and tile stores he recommends. He is very friendly, communicative, and professional, it almost feels like you are catching up with a long lost friend. What set him apart was his attention to detail and his passion for really understanding what his customers wants and needs were. My husband and I loved that we could ask him millions of questions and he would provide his honest feedback, while checking with us to see what our styles were before setting it into stone. He would occasionally walk us through what they were working on and what the next day looked like. I love that they do not rush the job but really take the time to make sure it comes out high quality. One of the key things we were looking for in our bathroom remodel was someone who could do tiles but also if there were any underlying issues that were exposed with our bathroom, we would be able to have the same professional help us finish the job vs reaching out and waiting for other contractors. Martin has both an active tiling and general contractor license which was perfect because we did not want to have to hit up additional contractors such as plumbers, etc. if there were issues that came from the demo. We trusted him fully to bring our vision to life. He is a one stop shop and definitely going to be our go to person for future tiling and bathroom remodels as well as the person we recommend to our family and friends for bathroom remodels! We were on a tight timeline for the remodel and he really made it work with us, while aligning his start date to match up with the delivery of our shower valve and tub. The best thing is he never leaves a project halfway, hes here from start to finish and the best part is you get to see it come to life day by day and he lets you know what he is doing each step of the process. My husband and I have definitely gotten a better understanding of what it entails to remodel a bathroom and gotten expert advisement from Martin which we really appreciate. I am glad this ended on a good note, since other than the communication issue, the floors look amazing, and his team worked hard and quickly. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. We got some big 47x47 tiles for the backsplash because we didn't want to have too many grout lines. We thought it'd be easy to cut and install. Little did we know that it's much harder than small tiles. But Feliciano came through and made the backsplash looks terrific. When it came to the floor tiles, the second batch I bought was from a different lot number. Feliciano examined the tiles and found the color slightly mismatched the first batch. If he didn't have the experience and advised me on the issue, I would have not found out about it until after the tiles are installed. Feliciano and his team did the entire job when we got hit by the wind storm. He was very flexible in working on the schedule with us. He is dependable, reliable, and hard-working. I called another place first who gave me some vague pricing about so much labor for the first hour then so much an hour after that and I had no clue how much time or money was involved. Then I remembered that someone on Next Door recommended Creative Tile so gave them a call. Instead of some vague pricing I made an appointment with Feliciano to come to my house to check it out which he did. We agreed on a price and a date to do it. He and one other guy came over right on time and got to work. They not only did the whole floor but afterwards acid cleaned all the tile and even cleaned my shower door. It took them several hours and they did an excellent job. Another reason that I liked this company was that they were licensed, insured and bonded. True professionals.

I was looking to get some glass tile repaired in my Master Bathroom. It was a small job. I sent out…read morea request on Yelp and got quite a few replies. Unfortunately, of all the responses, only two were interested - mainly because of the tile being glass. One company came out and looked at the prospective work and DTLA wanted some pictures and specifics via text and or email. Both company's bids were the same. I sent messages to both to discuss the job further. DTLA responded, and the other one - blew me off! So I spoke with Bill at DTLA Tile. He explained a lot of information about the glass tile, and the possible reasons for the cracking. We worked out the details and set the dates for the repairs - which were planned for one and a half days. On the first day, I overheard the tile technician (Alesandro?) talking to Bill on the speaker phone speaking Spanish. (I speak a little - enough to get by when necessary) He was discussing the difficulty of the work, and Bill replied that there was a "contracto" and they had to honor it. Alesandro worked all day chipping away at the glass tiles removing them. It's a very slow process with glass and makes quite a mess. He was always wearing proper protective gear to prevent injury. Had to make a Home Depot Trip for supplies. He got all of the tiles removed on the first day and on the second day began cutting tiles - when he discovered that he was going to need the wet saw to make the proper cuts on these tiles. He left and came back shortly with a saw and proceeded to cut and install more tiles. At the end of the second FULL day of work - the tiles were installed and he would be back the next day for grouting. We found a couple of MINOR issues that we wanted to have modified. One - meant removing and replacing a tile. But they gladly did that and even made another Home Depot Trip to get some Grout/Caulk to finish up the job. Alesandro left in the early afternoon of the third day. The job had taken almost twice as long due to the complexity of the glass tile. But the price was the same as agreed upon in the "contract." Bill contacted me a day or two later wanting to stop by to pick up payment due, and to inspect the final job. He came in and took pictures of the work and we had a nice conversation about the project and he was complimentary of some of the work that had been done in our house.
