I've been to shops all over Mesa and Gilbert, including V's Barbershop and several others, trying to find "my spot." I almost didn't write this because I don't want this place getting too busy, but these guys deserve the recognition. The shop is clean, everyone is welcoming and friendly, and most importantly--they know what they're doing with the clippers. Jonathan cut my hair, and he absolutely nailed it. The fade was clean, blended perfectly, and exactly what I was looking for. If you're picky about your haircut, especially if you like short, clean fades, I'd definitely recommend giving Two Guys Barbershop a try. I'm sure they can handle just about any style, but I can personally vouch for the quality of their fades. I will say they have had some good barbers come and sadly go. Having said that it is like playing Russian Roulette haircut style. One person cuts it great so you make sure you go back to them. Then one day they no longer work there. So, since you're already there and you need a haircut you have someone else do it. Then you go home and fix it for a half hour. They have pulled shady moves in the past. Once I realized they hadn't given me the fade I had asked for. So naturally I said something. They said "Okay we fix but we charge more now she have to do again" and added $5 to the final bill. Another time my buddy went with me and they tried charging him extra for a taper. The problem is he never asked for a taper. The lady at the register kept saying "He (the barber) said he give you taper". My buddy said "I never asked for a taper". They went back and forth until they finally took the charge off with annoyance. They also recently changed the pricing on the pricing menu so now instead of having one set price it reads Mens haircut $20-$25. Of course when it is time to pay it is always the highest cost. I gave this place a lot of chances but enough is enough. It is to the point where I have realized I am the problem... I keep going back... Too much bad business and inconsistent haircuts.
