Terry is the goat, never leave worrying about how long it'll take my hair to grow back and I'm always satisfied with the finished result!

Went in to get a beard trim and was helped out by Terry. Terry was absolutely amazing and asked good questions regarding what specific needs I had for my trim. I walked in looking scraggly and left looking and feeling amazing. Will be coming back for all my haircut needs from now on. Thank you Terry and thank you Nico's Barber Shop for the amazing experience! read more

Great service, great cuts!! Your barber or hairstylist listens to what you're looking for, not just cut to their liking.

I've had my fair share of good and bad barbershop experiences. Nico's was great. Ejay was my barber and he did awesome. He knew exactly what I wanted after giving him a brief description and made sure to put in the work to make it look fresh. Highly recommend. read more

we went to Nico barber shop for the first time on Friday and we were so impressed. my son had the worst haircut at Sports clips and was so hesitant to get his haircut again but he saw Brian and when we left my son said this is the best haircut he's ever had!!! We have definitely found our new barber shop. great service. read more

Wow! What a great experience. I have always been a little nervous to attend a Barber Shop because I am part of the ‍ community but I was so tired of Sports Clips, Great Clips, etc. I went to Nico's and Issac was my barber. He is so freaking cool and we talked while he fixed my beard and cut my hair. I feel sexy and now I am hooked on Nico's for life. read more

Great service, easy booking online, go see Raj! and every single haircut they donate a meal to Feed My Starving Children

Very disappointed! Made an apt for my son, explained he had longer hair & the receptionist said it wouldn't be an issue. Get there & the "barber" said he needed to go to a salon. Left annoyed since that was the opposite of what I was told. Wasted time for sure. Took my son to another barber shop and they were able to give him his low taper cut. Not sure if the guy didn't know how to use scissors or what, but my son's hair was before his shoulders. Felt like he just didn't want to bother if I'm being honest. Should have made that clear before we wasted time and gas. Referring us to a salon is laughable. Do better! read more

I've been a long time sportsclips or cheap haircut place guy and decided it was time for a better place. Tried out Nico's today and had Melissa cut my hair. I was very impressed with her and the shop as a whole. She did a great job and I noticed the difference in quality and attention to detail. Will definitely be back. read more

All of the standard cutting shops are booked up these days as kids are getting ready to go back to school. They are also doing what they call Covid Cut corrections for all of us who had loved ones with big hearts but zero skills trying to cut hair during lockdown. I found this place on Yelp when the local Sports Clips I go to had appointments booked out for 8 hours. Nico's had a cancellation and was able to get me in on short notice. This place was pretty slick, with a retro sort of hipster vibe jumping off, but their cutters really know their business and I walked out with my ears lowered and shiny like a new dime. read more

$30 for a haircut? No thanks. That's waaaay too expensive considering you can go to supercuts or even sportsclips and get better pricing.

Best barber crew in the valley. Rajiv always makes me look good! Great family vibe and positive environment.

Montana is an excellent barber, you walk out feeling great about your cut every-time! Super clean and friendly shop as well.

Great barbershop it's so cute and clean inside! They do wonderful work! The best barber shop we've been to yet!

This is my first time going to this place amazing atmosphere and amazing people that work there always great haircuts! 5+++ stars!!! read more

Jospeh did an amazing job on my medium fade. He was very friendly, approachable and experienced. Nicos Barber Shop was very clean organized and professional. They have really cool trendy merch as well. They use these scented warm hot rags to cleanup up and it's just a great experience overall. All the people there are friendly. My son and I have going to Nico's for a longtime. It is a nice clean place and these guys really know what they're doing. Manny is my barber and he's great. It's always fun to go get a haircut we talk we laugh we joke and he does a good job. Montana cuts my son's hair, and he treats my son very well, we are always happy with the service, the professionalism and the way they treat us it's like going to have your haircut by friends. If you haven't gone there, go check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

Professional, great barber shop atmosphere, friendly, great place for kids. I get both my sons hair cut here and I couldn't be happier.

I made an appointment with Tony after having issues with my regular barber. Finding a new barber is such a pain in the butt, however this place had some solid reviews and it's pretty close to home so I figured I'd give it a try. The shop is very cool and trendy. The decor is new and hip but not douchey like many other upscale barber shops. This is a place where you wouldn't mind hanging out. I was nervous trying a new place, but much to my delight, Tony freaking nailed it! I explained to him what I wanted and what the other barber was screwing up. He took his time and made sure that I left happy. The prices are very reasonable. (I think it was like $25 for a cut.) If you're on the search and nervous to try someone new, give this place a shot. You won't regret it. read more

Great experience. I wasn't sure if Nico's also did women's hair but after seeing a few female reviews, I made an apt. I'm growing my hair back after chemo and needed a baby fade and some clean up work done. I've had short pixie hair including an undercut and a fade for 25 years, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Danaya knew what to do and I walked out feeling extremely happy. I made sure to rebook in a month with her and I'm looking forward to it. After losing my hair during a pretty trying time, it was good for my heart to walk out of that shop yesterday feeling the way I did. Bravo guys, bravo. read more

I have been going to this barber for little over a year. Their motto says it all, "look good, do good". I am usually not an easy going person when it comes to cutting my hair. However, after going for so long I can now trust all the barbers to cut my hair. I am also clearly not the only person to think this since appointments fill up fast and it can be hard to get a walk-in appointment because of their hard/great work. In addition to their great cuts, they give back to the community to help those who are less fortunate. Keep up the great work! My recommendation for new or existing customers is to make an appointment online! read more

I used to go here every two weeks. Went in today and will never go back most unprofessional experience ever. I was running late because had an asthma attack and had to do a breathing treatment. I get there they sit me down agreed to do my haircut but after starting they told me they couldn't finish my full hair cut. So I had to leave with an unfinished haircut due to me having medical problems. Everyone there was very unprofessional with the situation. I recommend you not to go to this barber shop if you want a full haircut. They have lost a valued customer and more. read more

I came in to have my undercut cleaned up and add designs in my fade. I'm happy to say Regan was excellent at both and I am very satisfied with the results. The shop itself is open and clean. It also has a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean fade or designs. read more

I made a reservation and was called up and seated on time. They had both doors open with wind blowing through and for an 80 year old man it was chilling and there were pesty flys buzzing my face. He was very nice. I showed him a large print of a photo of me with the hair style I wanted with just enough hair on the side to comb back and enough hair in the back to reach my hair line. He cut off almost all my hair with not enough left to comb even with a photo for reverence. My hair is thin because off my age so I look almost bald. Hasn't looked this bad since I went into the military in 1966 when they cut it about the same as he did. I am very disappointed. read more

Here at Nico's for the first time since my husbands barber moved to Maricopa and needed to find a new shop. They did amazing getting my 1 year old comfortable and familiar with the equipment that they use. Very happy with the service and we will be back for sure. They also work off appointments and scheduled enough time for my husband (haircut and beard trim) and my toddler son to get a cut on a busy Saturday and didn't feel rush. They were also taken back right on time for their appointment. read more

Thanks Jen and the rest of the staff at Nico's for always giving me an amazing hair cut and beard trim! I always leave feeling really good about myself for 2 reasons: 1. The cut is always on point 2nd and most important I know that Nico's is donating a portion of the proceeds to feed children in need. I love the concept and have enjoyed watching you grow read more

We made an appointment for my son 3:30 to 4pm and we showed up a bit late, but still inside the 30 minutes set aside for our appointment and they turned us away. Not cool as far as I'm concerned. ***Updated review...I stopped in yesterday to get my beard trimmed (takes about 15 minutes). I was told since I didn't make an appointment (which I haven't been able to due to work) it would be about 2.5 hrs for a trim. What???? Is this serious?? For a beard trim? After coming here for a long while and spending a lot of time and money in this place I felt like I was just another wallet and that "I'm losing out" for not making an appointment. Sorry there's a ton more barbershops in the area that will treat their regulars a lot better. I am very disappointed. Original post: Great place for a beard and haircut! Getting the VIP is worth every penny! read more

My son had an appointment at 2 pm and was running late. He arrived at 2:07 and the barber Issac had left? I'm astounded because women get their hair done a minimum of 2 hours. I'm pretty sure men's haircuts don't even take 1 hour long? So if women can wait an hour if a stylist schedule gets off by taking a late customer, because I have waited an hour before, barbers can have a grace period in their schedule if it only takes less than 30 minutes to cut short hair? They said they had a 7 minute late policy? Right.... Pathetic. read more

Awesome staff. Took my son there a couple of months ago and I was very satisfied with the service.
