Absolutely love this old school barber shop. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is on point--classic, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. The customer service is excellent: friendly, attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their craft and their clients. Prices are moderate and totally fair for the quality you get. The shop is clean and well-kept, which always matters. They offer everything you need in one stop--sharp haircuts, smooth shaves, and even brow, ear, and nose waxing. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. A true neighborhood gem. We love it. read more

My hubs and son love this place. It's a bit like an old school barber shop but it gives fresh cuts. Prices are reasonable (avg $27 / haircut). Good people, clean, and great cuts! I read more

Great cuts from actual licensed barbers, good price, no b.s. best barbershop in the area.

My barber was very conversational, he asked me what I wanted and continued to ask me on certain details I wanted throughout the hair cut. Did exactly what I asked him and was a gentleman! read more

Great barbershop for young , trendy cuts. My son asks for Erasmo every time for a low taper fade. He loves it. He is a great guy and my son really enjoys him. read more

My usual barber was out this Tuesday, and I had to make a last minute appointment for an early Wednesday morning session. You know how stressful it can be dealing with a new barber, but Eddie's calendar was booked solid, so I figured that had to be a good sign. Arrived right at 8am and Eddie was prompt to start the service. Fade was phenomenal, the shave and line up was amazing and he's earned a new client. Shout Out to Eddie with his expertise and professionalism!! read more

Went there with an open mind, and and out of there very pleased! I had never had a haircut from here. Great haircut and great convo! Pick Elsi... read more

Omar at V's Barbershop is more than a barber--he's a blessing. After we lost our son, Omar generously offered to cut hair for the men in our family in preparation for the celebration of his life. It wasn't just a haircut--it was an act of kindness, connection, and care. A few weeks later, our youngest grandson said, "I want to go back to that place we went with my brother for our haircut." That says everything. Omar has a gift. He's personable, genuine, and effortlessly connects with people of all ages. He doesn't just give great haircuts--he creates a space where you can laugh, reflect, maybe even shed a tear, and walk out feeling refreshed inside and out. If you're looking for more than just a cut--if you're looking for heart, conversation, and a little healing along the way--go see Omar. You won't regret it. read more

Super clean, very friendly and they really listened to my son. He got a great hair cut!

Great service. Predictable outcome. I have been going for a couple of years now. I make reservation so I'm in and out. The place has everything you expect from a barber shop. Free soda too! read more

Had haircut today and Maria spent less than 10 min on my haircut. For sure one of worst haircuts I have had in long time. Requested mid fade but got no fade and no blending, requested fingers length on top but got cleaned up. $35 I mean come on, I know it is standard those days but at least do better job. Would not come close to V's anymore and can't beleive that they have 4.9 stars. read more

Good basic cut. But it wasn't exceptional. I had a cut several weeks ago in downtown Gilbert that was better, and cheaper. She seemed a bit uncertain how to approach my cut (maybe because I didn't want anything fancy?). It wasn't a bad experience. It just didn't really "wow" me. read more

Esli is always attentive and thorough with haircuts. I can say the overall atmosphere is active and she makes the haircut fly by. Two thumbs up read more

Esli does an amazing job! My son and I have gone to her for many years, she is consitant and professional! I would highly recommend using her Esli to cut your hair! read more

V's Barbershop Gilbert - Shave - Men's Hair Salons Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Nooooo! My first and last time at V's... It was not a good experience at all. The place seems nice and maybe some of the barbers are talented but the one that works at the third chair (far back) right side when you come into the shop has no clue on how to do a basic fade. After leaving this place I had to get a retouch from another shop to try and fix the disaster V's barber did I ended up spending 70 bucks that day just to get a decent cut. read more

V's Barbershop Gilbert - Hair cut from hell - Men's Hair Salons Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

My husband likes this place. My only complaint is that you pay $30ish for a men's cute and you don't get a wash or any product in the hair for styling...that's all add ons. Wish they would combine that for the cost of a men's haircut. read more

Don't know where to start. Almost barbers start by asking you what to watch. Not mine, she put on the show she watched to watch. That became even more apparent as she spent more time watching the screen that looking at my hair. When she got to my neck line, she cut me. Deep enough that I knew it happened in the moment. It happens, but a professional barber owns its. Let's you know there is a small Nick and puts some power on it. Doesn't ignore that it happened. read more

This place is fantastic. We were looking for a new barber shop and it seems like they are everywhere but hard to find a great one. Nate did a great job with my teenagers hair, exactly what he wanted and let him just chill in the chair instead of being super chatty which my son appreciated. Best haircut he has had in awhile. Customer service was great and efficient check in and out and can book online. We will be back! Thank you! read more

Came in today with my son for a walk in! They were very friendly and got my son right in. They summoned Joe from the back, he came out, I told his what my son wanted. He didn't say a whole lot, only "short on the top", to be exact. But that was fine with us because what he pulled off was amazing. We will be back to see him next month! read more

I had the most unpleasant experience at V's barber shop. First my barber Esli seemed either high as a kite or so exhausted she could barely keep her eyes open. Not the vibe you want from someone about to wield sharp objects around your head. Throughout her portion of my haircut Esli was dropping tools and items all over the place like a clumsy toddler. After a lot of uneven and sloppy cuts throughout my hair she managed to nick my ear, drawing blood and causing me pain. After that I requested a new barber where I got Maria thankfully she demonstrated competence and provided a good haircut. Even through this experience I was still required to pay the full price. read more

Worst barber shop experience I've ever had. Barber didn't listen to a word I said, left me with one of the worst hair cuts of my life and didn't shave my neck. Absolutely will not be returning. And would give zero stars if I could. Go else where trust me. read more

Nice clean shop. Walked right in. Greeted quickly. Seated quickly. Raudiel was pleasant and to the point. In and out. No complaints here.

Since moving to Gilbert from Scottsdale in November 2021, I have discovered the best barbershop ever! Abraham crushed it! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Abraham recommended subtle changes in the way I will be trimming by beard moving forward. The best cut, & deluxe beard trim I have ever experienced! The pics don't begin to do this place justice. I'm not easily impressed; however, I have already booked my next appointment a week out from my honeymoon in Maui. And speaking of which, my beautiful new bride was blown away by my new look!!! I HIGHLY recommend V's Barbershop in Gilbert! read more

Our first time at the shop all three of my boys saw three different barbers and they all came out looking amazing one of my boys is autistic and the barber who did his hair was amazing and patient with him! My husband ended up going into the shop later on in the week! He looks amazing best haircuts they've got in a long time! read more

I used to think the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut was two weeks, in this case it's going be a month. I asked for a light trim just a clean up, no white walls. I feel like a member of Custer's seventh cavalry at Little Big Horn because I was scalped. Worst haircut I've had in a long time. Ed, Look at the pictures and tell me this is "a light trim with no white walls" haircut. I signed in as Steve Meyer as Fritz is my nickname. read more

First time coming here and I am SO glad we did! Omar was SO awesome! Great cut! Patient with my almost 5 year old son as he did his hair and my hair. Threw on a kids movie for my son and was attentive to my requests for his hair and mine. Can't stress enough how great Omar was! read more

So now that school is back in session (at least for my kids) we decided to wait until the day before to get my sons hair cut...and I decided it was time for me as well. We'd been to V's before a while ago but had tried a few other barbers in between looking for a place and a person we could go back to regularly. Called to see what the walk in times were at about 11:30am and was told if we wanted we could make a same day reservation for 3:15 which would be perfect. Picked my daughter up and had her drive us here for our appointment. When we walked in 15 min early, they were ready for us and not booked - which is fantastic. My son got Joe and I got Maria. Typically with barbers this is a relationship business and talk / conversation is appreciated. Joe was nice and he took an ample amount of time working with my son to make sure his line and his style were cared for. Maria was a gem! Super nice and professional. She carried on a great conversation with me about our families, challenges of teenagers, struggle as parents etc....and she did a great job on my hair while doing all that. Great place to come, super clean and they gave my daughter a soda while she as just waiting for us to finish. We had a great experience and we will certainly be back! read more

Not gonna lie it's been hard finding a barber who can do LEGIT FADES in Gilbert. Because it's Gilbert lol Wanna get a clean fade? See Abraham, highly recommend. read more

I was very nervous making a booking with V's Barbershop since I don't have much experience with barbers, let alone those who can handle curly hair. When I got in, I was greeted appropriately and wasted no time. My barber, Esli, took the time to listen to my wants and concerns regarding my hair and walked me through the options and how it could look. She offered polite and engaging conversation to the right amount and showed me all the angles right for my hair. I have no regrets and can proudly and honestly say, was one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. 10/10 would recommend! I was very satisfied with the results. read more

Save your money and go to cost cutters instead!! You'll get a better haircut as well. I went in and got the worst haircut possible. Uneven sides the top was not much better. When contacted by Ed the owner he said the girl who cut my hair does not have "real world experience" WTH? Why don't you vet your staff. Stay away from this place!! read more

This is by far the best spot in Arizona. Omar is incredible. I made the mistake to get my haircut outside of V's yesterday just to try and save a trip to Gilbert, and I paid the price dearly! I had to scramble and called Omar and begged for a sport to help clean up the mess another barber made, thankfully he had one open time today. I'm flying out tomorrow to meet my father and sister for the first time so this hair cut is one of the most important ones in my lifetime. Thank you Omar and V's for taking care of me. Especially you Omar, always cutting hair and beard trims exceeding standards 100% of the time. Thanks again! read more

I've been here for 3 haircuts; they only got 2 of them correct. Be sure to tell Elias M. *EXACTLY* what you want, show him and then ask him if he understands. He just shaved my head - I asked for a trim. Wow. I asked for a trim around the sides and even showed the barber, Elias M., how long I wanted my hair. (Using my fingers it looked about 1/4 inch). He shaved off all of my hair! I let him know immediately that he wasn't giving me the hair cut I asked for and he then said, "Oh, sorry, I guess we both got it wrong". WTF!?!? I showed him with my fingers how long I wanted it. He then replied, "I guess I wasn't looking". Hey ALL BARBERS AND HAIR CARE PROFESSIONALS: LISTEN! Thanks for the crappy haircut this Holy Thursday and Easter weekend. I would have given 1 star but he didn't charge me for the haircut. read more

Hubby goes to see Erasmo twice a month. Hair cut, beard trim and facial. Best place he has ever been

I booked online with Omar who was punctual and has great clipper and scissor skills. As a previous London barber myself, I know talent when I see one. Omar offered great quality service including the right amount of conversation and great attention to detail. The service starts with a hot towel, then your cut, then another hot towel and then a motorized hand a massage. = $25.00c They sell and use products like Layright, Suavecito, Reuzel and others I will definitely continue to go back to Omar read more
