Then we got straight to work. At the end of my cut, he made sure I liked the result, to which I asked for my bangs a bit shorted and he readily obliged. I paid $45 (excluding an additional tip) in cash, but I didn't inquire further if they also accept card or if there's an additional fee for paying by card. I looked around the salon for a menu of costs of services, which he said there wasn't one. No problem, I plan on coming back for haircuts only anyway which I know are $45! Otherwise, I'll text him personally asking for other services if I want them! All in all, I was in and out the door at 2:00 and 2:30 respectively, literally (I looked at the clock). Unfortunately, the haircut I received was not at all what I requested, despite showing reference photos. The cut was extremely choppy, with uneven layers throughout. It was the first haircut I've ever been truly unhappy with, and I am unable to even wear my hair down due to the unevenness and disconnect throughout the cut. I do want to recognize the salon owner for how they handled the situation. They were understanding, offered to have another stylist correct my haircut, and also refunded the cost of the service. I truly appreciate their professionalism and commitment to making things right. While I'm disappointed with the haircut I received from Ericka, I appreciate the owner's excellent customer service and willingness to stand behind their business. Although my first experience wasn't the one I had hoped for, I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.

It is a relief to find a place where the people who works there treat you like a person and do not see the sign of $$ on you, as in these chains of cutting hair that exists in every corner and where they change of stylists every week. This place is the best I have been on, since I moved to Gilbert, and the price, PLEASE, it is nothing compared with those "salons" that charge you up to $70 for the same haircut ( if you are lucky ), but with a lousy service. She put me back in the bowl and it wasn't much better the second time. Every time I said this is not what I asked for, my statements were ignored and masked with "it looks soo good!" After 4.5 half hours being in that chair I cried because my hair looked terrible. No one offered to fix it or make the situation better- just collected payment. I could not get out of there fast enough. The technique was definitely not balayage... It was a messy job at highlights. I now have an appointment somewhere for a correction.
