The facial was great! I had the signature facial with dermaplaning and I really loved the products, the massage and the esthetician. Here's the reason for the 2 star review. The esthetician spa room was in the back of a hair salon where the stylist was hair and the door is very thin! I could hear everything the customers and stylist were yelling to talk over the water loud water! It was really loud and took away for any sort of relaxation from the facial! Also, I book only added the dermaplaning to the facial because of the add attached! I ever asked about this special when I booked and was told, "yes" I could use this special and get the dermal as a few adding. Nope! When I checked out I was giver a bill for $221 for a signature facial. My jaw dropped, the facial was nice but I was told $129. I asked about the special and was told that is for my next treatment. What?? That is not what I was told, nor does this special specify this. I added a picture of the special to show how that would not be how customers would interpret this special! I was very disappointed and Will not be going back or recommending to others!! Poor advertising and very poor customer service!! read more

I absolutely love this salon! I haven't gone into a salon before and Amber was so so nice. I was able to bring my friend back with me and she even let us borrow a charger. I showed her some pictures and she made my hair look 100% better than I ever thought it could! The salon is extremely clean and welcoming while maintaining a professional environment. very rude. reached out for a perm and they were very short and rude. did not say hi or explain any of their perm options only said that they do not do digital perms. when i asked if any of their perm options could achieve my goal picture they only responded by saying they were all done by curling irons and a perm can't achieve these looks. one of the people in the pictures is a celebrity and that is her natural hair, and the others are all perms/natural. read more

I made an appointment for a haircut.... hair looked great from the front. I was never given a mirror to look at the back of my hair. When I got home, I looked at the back and did not like it at all. Terrible experience. Had extensions put in for my wedding and they were put in wrong, too many put in and over charged for shit work. I couldn't put my hair up in any way without seeing the tabs from the extensions. It looked cheap and very unprofessional. There was no way to do my hair for my wedding except down. Salon refuses to give any refunds which is how they get away with doing awful work. I had to pay another salon to correct the work. SB told me they couldn't help me because I went to another salon which I was forced to do when the manager of the store didn't correct the first girl's mistakes. Why would I go back to have them make a bigger mess of my hair? I have spent over $1600 and now have to pay more to get better extensions and a salon who trained their stylists on putting in extensions correctly. Terrible to have to deal with all of this while trying to also get all the things I needed done for my wedding. I definitely wouldn't recommend this salon. read more

SUPER DISAPPOINTED. BE SURE TO LOOK AT A FEW MORE PLACES FIRST. I was really excited to color my hair after 3 years of growing it out. I trusted Salon Blissful Mesa to color my hair and balayage into a rose gold color. I provided pictures of what I wanted and the stylist said we could try to get close to it. I ended up walking out with fuchsia hair!! The stylist said it was a really pretty color and that the color would fade. She said to give it a week and if I wasn't happy to let them know. I have waited a week and I'm still not happy with the color, it didn't fade. I called the salon and explained that I was super unhappy and that I did my due diligence in waiting the week. The front desk said "I spoke to my manager and there's nothing we can do for you because this is the 8th day and you had 7 days to let us know." So, $400 later, this is the response I get after waiting the week to TRY and like my hair? This was really unprofessional and they definitely do NOT have their clients in mind. The stylist was very aware that I did not ask for fuchsia hair and should have owned up to the mistake instead of telling me to wait a week to see how much the color fades. The manager should have taken the time to understand how I felt as a respected client and should have worked with me to make things right. I would have been a lifelong customer, but it looks like I'll have to pass along my review instead. This is definitely a case where you cannot trust the company to back their services. They'll happily take your $400 and tell you to "go figure it out." Not a recommended business! I'm so embarrassed to walk around! In Response To The Manager... The stylist indicated that even with a clarifying treatment, the color would not change and would remain bright. The front desk advised that they spoke to the Manager and that the salon would be able to book me for another appointment that I could pay for (again, after $400!) instead of helping me through this situation. It doesn't make sense to pay for MORE services to correct the issue I reported. It's not even dark pink, it's bright magenta/fuchsia! I was advised that there were no options by your front desk, "we can't do anything for you unfortunately." Apparently, the business runs on technicalities, not customer service, since I reported on the 8th day instead of the 7th (since I was told to wait a week). When I'm told by my stylist to wait a week and I follow her request, I would have expected to have Salon Blissful work with me. They did not and the Manager did not even offer to take my call or call me back to discuss. I did not end the phone call, I was told to call back when the manager is back in the salon and that there was nothing you guys could do for me. It's really awful that I have to walk around with a service that I'm unhappy with... I really thought I could trust you all to take good care of me. No call from the Manager and no help from the salon. Even now, there's a response on the review, but still no call to me? That's not what customers should expect. read more

This salon was able to squeeze me in last minute after my usual salon canceled on me. Grace was my stylist and she was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and cut my long hair gradually until it was the perfect length. I'm very soft headed and I get embarrassed about mentioning it, Grace was so gentle and light handed!! In fact I don't think I've ever had a stylist be so gentle before. Absolutely will be coming back to her!! Please have more honesty with your work! That picture was taken after her appointment with you guys her hair was ash silver before and just wanted to get it retouched. She has no need to lie, she's not interested in ever going back but please don't try to make her look like a liar. She paid $220 and it was a WASTE OF MONEY! and thanks to your work she will not be able to wear her hair extensions for a while. When she went back a second time to get it "fixed" you guys darkened her hair with toner. This is the color my mom had before and the color of her extensions, she was just going for a retouch but came out with orange spots between her hair and with more of a Golden than silver. Her extensions are of course ash silver to match her hair THAT WAS ASH SILVER ALREADY! The language barrier is no excuse for the orange spots left on her hair.. I went to salon blissful because of the good reviews. I got my hair done by Mia and it turned out way darker than I wanted but I that was ok because I liked it. After a week and washing my hair twice the color started to wash and out turn spotty. I called the salon to get it fixed and they told me that it was my fault because of what I had done to my hair before. They said they have a 7 day guarantee but since they didn't have anything available that day (it was day 7) they could help me. They said I could schedule an appointment if I wanted but I would be paying full price. I paid $259 , $40 of that was a tip and they just blew me off. It's my fault. The cut was good, but I went for a bayalage and she basically gave me a head of highlights. Not what I wanted but will be better once my hair grows out. Attached are pics of what I wanted and what I got, you can see that the bleached portion is way higher. I chose Friday the one day I probably should not have chosen because I guess people call out and then they choose not to notify their customer. STAY AWAY FROM STYLIST GRACE! I walked in with shoulder length hair, GAVE HER A PJOTO OF A SIMPLE CUT AND SGE CUT MY HAIR YO LOOK LIKE FARRAH FAWCETT IN THE 70's. It is snd was, the worst haircut I've ever gotten in 50 YEARS! So I went back so she could fix it, and she texturized the shit out of it l. So now, have tiny hairs that stick straight up! 6 years experience? I don't think so, unless she started doing hair at 16'! The color was even worse. Who doesn't understand a neutral chocolate brown? What did she not get about my hair leans towards red! All the gold highlights have shown right thru, despite a toner being put on, which of course I was charged extra for! $177.00 for root touch up and cut and both are horrible! Do yourself a favor and go to fantastic sams, where you can get the same horrible services for $22.00. read more

Hillary is awesome! This was my first visit here: I decided to go based on other Yelpers' reviews, because I figured that 93 people just couldn't be wrong :). I had an idea of what color and cut I wanted, and was hoping I could convey my wishes and also get a stylist that would understand and improve on my ideas. Hillary had the most amazing - to me - blue metallic with lighter blue-gray tint hair : fantastic!! I had thought of something similar, but also had purple on my brain. Plus, I wanted my hair short in the back because it's Arizona and darn hot already, and I hate longer hair that goes all over the place, tucking into my T-shirts. So we discussed my ideas, she had great input and "got me" and what I wanted : I was so excited to see the final result I was like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning hahaha. Hillary first cut my hair and that was worth 1,000 points straight away: perfect, exactly what I had in mind, including the longer bit at the front I want to grow out! The back was scissor cut very short and the bottom cut in a straight line, without that pesky little tail that always drives me crazy. Then she went to work with tons of foils, feathering the color so it wouldn't come out all in a straight line but gently change from my silvery white hair to the lilac-purple. All the 20 minutes under the heat, and then while she rinsed and lightly shampooed my hair in cool water, I was fidgety and dying to see the result. When all this was done, the others around me of course saw my hair first, and they were all :" Ohh it looks amazing'" , " I love it! Next time I want that too!" Finally I was seated back in the chair and the damp towel came off : Yes !!! Love my cut! Love the color! Love Hillary! Next time, after this color fades out, I'm going to have her do my hair in dark blue :) read more

Horrible experience!! I made an appointment to get my silver highlights touched up and the manager set me up with a new girl Rachael who unfortunately ruined my hair color. Before i came in I specifically asked if they can match my color (it took a very long process, time and money to achieve this look) and they said yes, so i was extremely frustrated when the color was completely ruined. They changed my silver hair to dark and to make matters worse it felt like i had to pay $115 to ruin my hair! The only compensation offered was for me to change the toner by the same girl who ruined my hair. Why would i want the same person who ruined my hair to fix it. I am very upset because it took so long to get my dream color and it basically got destroyed in one day. I am not a happy customer and will definitely not be back! UPDATE: owner response to yelp review unprofessional... Says i had six 6 inches of black hair (thats an exaggeration, i have before pictures) and i've never had trouble from other salons doing a touch up. Even if that was the case, very interesting how my silver highlights got brown. Honestly if they told me my silver highlights would not match, i would have said no thank you. The manager, who was consulting me about my hair, also asked if my hair was like that "on purpose." Never felt more uncomfortable with a haircare professional.
