I didn't go into this with high expectations since it is a barbers shop and usually I go to a salon. I'm new to the area and was hoping to find a good place nearby. One thing I didn't like about my experience here was it was evident from the time I sat down that the barber didn't know how to cut my type of hair. I have longer curly hair think modern mullet ish. If you're going to promote the type of hair I have as being something you can do, I expect that is the case when I walk in. I'm not going to name names because he means well and he was nice and did his best. He just should've simply said - I don't know how to cut your hair and handed me to someone else. The haircut was completely uneven in the back and I never once was faced towards the mirror the entire haircut, which seemed odd. The 2 times I got the mirror to hold myself I could barely see it was dirty and far from the main mirror. Not even the line up was good I had patches of hair on my neck. Had a great time at the barber shop! Love my fade, the shop and my barber Vinny. These take me to, but I was written by my 10-year-old. Took him to this barber to try something new. He's pretty particular about the links and his cut. Finnie asked questions and listen to what he wanted, he said that Finnie was asking questions throughout to make sure he gave them the right Fade. Made an appointment with Vinny for my son last week. I sent someone else to take my son since I couldn't. When he got back from the barber, it looked like he didn't get a haircut at all and the his sideburns were uneven. It was my fault for not being there. My son didn't really want a haircut, he just wanted the sides cleaned, and Vinny gave him exactly that. I decided to take him back to Mission Barbers. I asked Vinny to fix my son's sideburns and cut his hair shorter. Vinny was happy to do it and even asked me a few times to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
