It's just a 2 chair shop, and Carl is the only guy there! He told me that mornings are his busy time, so afternoons are the best to get in there. (Luckily I got there at like 2) Carl is a pretty nice guy and does a decent cut for a decent price ($13 as of the time of this review) He does take debit cards, which my old barber never did (not saying that's bad) He's on an end unit, in a small strip mall and it doesn't look like parking is a big problem unless you're pulling a trailer! I get a haircut at least monthly, so I'll update should he slip up and run the clippers down the center of my scalp!

Personally, I go to Danda because I think she does a fantastic job, and I'm always happy with the end result--for both my hair and my beard. It's a great experience all around. My son and I have been using this studio for years, and it's a great place to see the difference between whatever you get at Fantastic Sam's versus what an actual hair studio can be when it comes to getting a hair and beard trim, especially as a male. I didn't realize the difference before, but now I do, and I'd never have it any other way. Also, hot towels. I love hot towels. They have hot towels--and yes, a lot of places have them--but the way Modern Man uses them makes the experience that much better. And unlike some other male-oriented salons, they don't do the awkward neck massage with a little vibrating massager that's supposed to make a difference. It doesn't. The only difference it makes is increasing the chance I'll never return to that place. Modern Man has the formula down. That said, DJ had told me if I didn't like it or needed more cut off just come back and let him know so and he stood by what he said. I came back in today and there he was, willing to clip some more off for me to my liking, which I can really appreciate his willingness to. I'm now very happy with where the length is at and it is much easier to run my hands through (my hair is very thick) and I'm now satisfied with where it's at. I will be returning to his little hole in the wall blink and you'll miss it barber shop just off principle! They take care of their people and they are kind to their customers.
