I do DIY maintenance on my cars at home, helping my family, girlfriend, and myself out with regular maintenance on our Lexuses (we have two LS's, an SC, an IS, and formerly a GS). The parts guys are helpful and help me find the parts I need. My only complaint is that occasionally, they will forget to email me when my parts arrive, and I don't find out until I actually ask them myself or go in person. Longo Lexus is the worst car dealership location ever. Not a single employee greeted us or even asked if we needed help. We were checking out cars for 30 minutes, and no single employee even approached us to assist. When we walked in to see if employees were all busy helping other customers, many employees were sitting around or chatting with each other. I'm sure most of them knew we needed assistance as they even gave eye contact, but no acknowledgment was provided. I was planning to get a Range Rover but I'm glad I got the Lexus GX 460 Premium instead. As I get older, I prefer money in the bank. The Lexus SUV I had before has over 200,000 miles and still runs great. The maintenance barely costed anything and the mileage was excellent especially when I used to drive 500-600 miles a week. I don't drive that much anymore but surprisingly the mileage is still good. Last week I drove to SF and I was able to make it in one tank. Unbelievable, two different services people at Longo Lexus quoted me two different prices for the same TPMS sensor. Robin's quote is $99, his best offer is 10% off the parts, not the labor$175. Today I got the sensor replaced at Longo Lexus for $175 Labor and $85 for the sensor, plus 10% off for both labor and parts. Car sales play games when you need to buy a car. But for services too? I brought my 2016 Lexus IS-200T in for a front windshield replacement on May 13, 2020. I was contacted by the service department to pick up my vehicle on May 14, 2020, I immediately noticed paint damage on the edge of the roof, directly next to the windshield seal. I contacted the service manager right away to file a complaint. The service advisor scheduled me to bring my car back in on May 16, fast forward to the 27th (11 days later), I received a picture of my vehicle with another DAMAGE next to the bottom part of the window seal, i reached out to Clem Cisneros and he is now claiming that the damage "has been there for a while" because there is rust visible and they will not repair it - after a long discussion with Clem, he finally offered to repair it using touch-up paint! I was scheduled to pick up the car today 6/6 and when i picked it up, the interior was filthy, covered with dust (which clearly shows that it was left out without a windshield possibly for weeks, a new paint scuff on the hood has appeared! They (Longo Lexus) have been the only people to work on my car. Based on other Yelp revious this dealership is clearly negligent when handling their customer's vehicles. If you and your love ones care about your vehicles, please save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY FROM LONGO LEXUS! My wife and I have had our two vehicles, a 1999 Es, and a 2017 RX350, recently serviced and attended to by Francis Saldano and the Lexus service group. Our cars were taken on the date and time promised, a loaner vehicle was ready and prepared, the service was done as promised and we were fairly charged exactly what was quoted. The service manager, Mr. Saldano, was extremely helpful and courteous and we feel he had our best interests in mind in doing business with us. Both service moments, our cars were returned clean and ready and everything mentioned was dealt with as promised. Ridiculous customer service. Very poor communication with Rene Reynoso in particular. I left my car here for simple scratches on my two rims on Monday and it's still not done on Thursday. I was told today that it might be ready by Saturday. I have attempted to communicate with Mr. Reynoso several times by text and phone and I was ignored. I've had much better service at other Lexus locations. This has been the worst experience ever. I've been in customer service for over 30 years and I know that communication is key. This time another poor experience here. The service rep that I got, her initials J.M. was extremely unprofessional and impatient. My mother was trying to explain our situation to her, J.M. told my mother and I quote, "I hate people who talks so much". She wasn't saying that to me when we spoke on the phone. Is this how you speak to someone who's first language isn't English? For a dealer located in the valley that serves an extremely diverse population, this is truly disappointing behavior. Not only did this waste our entire afternoon, she proceeded to tell us that she does not advise us to drive off the lot with our vehicle due to safety concerns, then she told us there are no available rental vehicles at 6 pm.
