Great restaurant. Food and service were first class. Have had a couple different dishes and all were great.

We ordered a lot more but I didn't capture a picture of all, first impression walking through the door i already knew it was going to be good. The restaurant has super cool seats and is so nicely decorated! food came out pretty quickly and the servers are so kind! The sushi we ordered is great! very crunchy and full of flavors, the raw fish tastes very fresh and the sauce combinations are flavorful and goes great with the sushi. We also ordered ramen and i find the broth and mushrooms delicious, everybody at the table loved them too. Our Sashimi and Nigiri came out in great size and the hand-rolls are perfectly put together. I'll definitely visit again once i get a chance and you should too! 10/10 read more

We went to Longhouse for date night. Someone recommended we try this restaurant, so we did. First off our waitress was nice and tried, but that's where the good experience stopped. We were sat right next to the kitchen trash can and had gnats flying around us all dinner. On top of that they only had one sushi chef so our food was significantly delayed. As far as the food quality, the sushi rolls were acceptable and tasted fine, however we ordered big eye sashimi and were served two giant chunks of tough chewy pieces of "big eye" tuna. I've never had such low quality sashimi and in hindsight we should've sent it back because we could tell just by looking at it that it was low quality. Anyways we won't be going back. Hopefully others have a better experience but for us first impressions matter and I'd rather support better restaurants we have around locally. read more

My first impression of this restaurant was: they need a betterbline management. It was dinner time on a regular weekday, so it was not super busy. However, I had to wait in line for almost half an hour before i was greeted, even there're plenty of tables available, even I only needed to sit at the empty sushi bar. It's not reasonable dine-in customers had to wait for customers who took forever to place and pay for to-go orders. I got seated at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs looked busy making sushi orders for the table. But the server was very courteous to take my order. I ordered the Omakase Premium Nigiri ($90), the most expensive item from their menu. A young sushi chef was preparing my order. I was very disappointed when the server handed me the plate, it looked like a low-end sushi set more than a premium omasake. Even the server got surprised, she had to ask the sushi chef if it's really the "premium" set. It's the worst omakase I've ever had in the whole world. Fish quality was OK, just there was a problem with "chef's choices". Not only the sushi chef picked the not-so-premium fish pieces, it lacks of varieties too. There were only six kinds of sushi (tuna, yellowtail, scallop, snow crab, spicy salmon, and egg). I'm not sure if the chef was experienced enough or not. I might give them another chance when the "real" sushi chef is at work, just because this casino doesn't have many other choices. read more

I asked the waiter if people had good things to say about the ramen. He gave me a diplomatic "no" but I was hungry and I don't make good decisions when Im hungry. I got it. The bowl was pretty good fresh looking ingredients but the broth was bland. Many a hipster ramen joint will insist upon its ingredients to pull it through but broth this bland does not a good ramen make. We shared the General Tso. The general would not be pleased. Due to its surface area the flavor on the veggies and rice was really good. However the chicken was also super weak. Not a lot of chicken either. Just razzle dazzle. Service was very good. I actually really liked everyone here, from the host, to our server, and the bartender. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the place. The sushi wasn't necessarily bad, as it was poorly prepared. First, one of the well-known secrets of sushi, is the rice. It has to be sushi ready, which means it has to be the right type, as well as be sufficiently marinated in Japanese rice wine or vinegar. Without it, it's akin to ordering a cheese pizza served on rice crackers instead of pizza dough- it just doesn't work. The sushi was soo underwhelming, I had to order a cup of eel sauce just to hide the blandness. Imagine ordering Wagyu steak, and having to use A1 sauce just to get it past your taste buds in order to swallow it. The fish was ok, but clearly not top shelf. While the miso soup was decent, I'll never return to this place. read more

This is normally one of my go to places, especially their pork shumai. I'll have to update this when I have a better experience but this visit was strange. There were multiple open seats at the bar and the counter was dirty. They would not let us sit there (we offered to wait for it to be cleaned) and had us sit somewhere less desirable.
