Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken and the Crab Delight Appetizer. Both yummy! The Appetizer had a nice crispy wonton wrapper shell and the inside filling was a nice creamy crab mixture. The sweet chili sauce that came with it was tasty. Our order was taken, questions asked and it did not take to long to bring our dishes to the table. The fragrant smells and visual presentations were very nice. We ordered hot tea, potstickers, Gang Panpang curry, and Basil Stir-fry both came with rice. My Curry was outstanding and my husband's was great too. Our first time and overall experience is 5 Stars. This place is good. I took my daughter for lunch. You enter very clean & updated look that's inviting. The staff was quick and nice to come take our orders. I got the chicken & pineapple fried rice, she got the pad Thai, then we got the hot wings ( next time I'll say give me the full force hot ) because I told him 7/10 and it was not very spicy. I've seen some good things about this spot so we decided to check it out and it did not disappoint! We started with these super crispy pork fried wontons that paired super well with the sauce. This is purely for the 2 Lycheetini I ordered. Oh, this lychee in 'Tini form is devine. I was obsessed with DTF's lychee martini but this for $13 and a bigger serving is so worth it. It's also closer to me so I don't have to drag my thirsty self all the way to Portland. The service was quick although I have a feeling I'd be different if I ordered food. The ambiance is nice. It seems clean and has an industrial/modern design. Update: I've been sitting here a bit waiting for my card to be ran. My suspicion is correct about service being on the slow side. This is a relatively new restaurant in SE Vancouver in a strip mall near a Costco. It's a small place with simple decor but with big tastes. I think I had the best green curry I've ever had here. The sauce was delicious and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant was so creamy and luscious. We told the attentive waitress how much we loved it and the chef came out and thanked us. Food is cooked fresh, generous portions, great prices, and the establishment itself is immaculately clean, and cozy. To top it off the food is delicious. Love that this is a local spot we can visit for a good meal. I hope the quality and service remains top notch as they clearly will continue to be successful given their focus on creating a great experience for customers. My wife and I heard good things about our near by Thai Eatery. We were greater as we entered the front door and what delightful decor, modern with clean lines and quirky signs in strategic places. We ordered our normal dishes that judge a new Thai establishment, Pad Thai with chicken and the Panang Curry ( Gang Panang.) This is an adorable little eatery, perfect for a quick bite or to linger with a friend over lunch. The decor and vibe is so peaceful and Zen. Love it. Whenever I try a new Thai restaurant I order the Pad Thai. It is a simple dish, but should pack a lot of flavor. This one was average. The chicken was tough (should be fork tender) and the sauce and noodles were not remarkable. The crab/shrimp rolls seemed pre-cooked and were a bit rubbery. The filling was mild. Came to around $30. total. Le' Lert has only been opened for a few months, so I may swing by for another try. The owners are lovely and I really want to see this place succeed and thrive. read more

We started off with the Won Ton soup - the broth was light and tasty, the won tons had a weird sweet taste to them, but the shrimp was fresh and not over cooked. Next was the Larb - this was unlike any Larb I've had before. I should mention that I always order Larb as it is my favorite Thai dish. Larb is usually ground chicken or pork mixed with spices, aromatics and rice powder along with cilantro and other veggies as garnish served with a lettuce or cabbage wedge to make little finger rolls. This dish was more of a fried chicken strip salad with mixed spring lettuce - disappointing. We then had Pad Thai chicken. This was an unappetizing greyish mushy mound of noodles garnished with peanuts and bean sprouts. The flavor wasn't bad, but it truly was one of the worst Pad Thai I've had. With all that said - the environment was warm and cozy - the decor was nice and best of all, the service was perfect! read more

Lots of natural wood and plants, but also some really cute touches like the cute drawings on the chalkboard and little figurines you can spot throughout. We also really loved their plates. My husband and I are always looking to try new restaurants in our area and I found out about this Thai restaurant from social media. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, everyone was all smiles. The restaurant was very clean and really nice. Loved the simple decor and ambiance of the entire establishment. Place is small and cute, with a small bar top. The tables and chairs were really nice and comfy. My husband and I ordered the one of the shrimp appetizers. It was so good! Just like a crab puff but with shrimp and pretty much in the shape of an egg roll. We also received complimentary toast with their peanut sauce. For entrees, we ordered the tom yum noodle soup, the fried rice, and the ground chicken dish with fried egg. Everything was really good and flavorful. I also had a lychee martini and it was so refreshing. It really did taste like lychee. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and was very attentive. We also received 20% off our bill, as it was their first week open, which was a nice surprise! We will definitely be back to try other dishes! read more

First, in response to a previous review that said there wasn't enough meat: Totally not the case! Plenty of chicken in all of our dishes we ordered. We called ahead (10 min) in case they were busy, to reserve a table, and when we arrived they met us at the door and took us directly to our seat! Really kind, eager and helpful staff. It got really busy around 6 on a Friday night and people started pouring in the doors. But we had a quiet table in the corner. The music was all instrumental covers of popular songs. For the food we ordered pad Thai, street noodles and gang yellow curry. Of the three our favorites were the curry, then the pad Thai. The street noodles are good, with a salty taste but I probably would opt to try something new from the menu instead next time. The curry, we found ourselves practically licking the bowl (not actually) with a really delightful spice and creaminess. The pad Thai is really great, with that classic sweet and salty flavor that makes it so popular. Of note, sometimes noodle dishes at other places are so greasy, that they can leave you feeling heavy in the gut if you eat too much, but that was not the case here. Absolutely fantastic. We love Thai food and have hot most of the Thai joints in Portland and Vancouver and this may be one of the best. A great new addition the east side of Vancouver. Excited to try a new thai place. Ambiance was great. The restaurant is beautiful and well put together. I loved the music they were playing. The cocktails were nicely done. Food is getting there but they've only been open for a week. I'll probably come back in 6 months or so to see how things are progressing. Only thing I wasn't happy about was paying for a refill of my thai coffee, I noticed right before I left. As was the street noodles and Panang curry with a medium spice level held depth of flavor throughout the meal. I didn't want to post this because selfishly I want to keep it a secret. But here it goes. This place is absolutely amazing! We don't have Thai restaurants around here that are this good. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is top tier. We eat here 2-3 times a week and have had almost everything in the menu. My go to is the street noodles. But I haven't had a bad dish here. Get a side of the fried chicken, it's so good! Do yourself a favor and eat here. It's so much better than the other Thai restaurants in town. These guys are amazing! read more
