Our family was treated amazingly. What awesome folks. Their convenience store had a great selection of treats and little toys for the kiddos. Their restaurant area was kitch and the food was great. The mozzarella sticks were among the best I've had in years. If you have a nut allergy, ask them not to give you to surprise Reese's (nice geature, though). My wife is a french fries snob and loved theirs. My tiny 5-year-old ate all of her chicken fingers - which is a miracle. Great!

My son lives in Ridgefield and we absolutely love this little town, that is now booming. You have to time it right to be able to eat in the back room of this grocery store. It's definitely a hidden gem. We all had the halibut fish and chips and they were some of the best! The coating on the fish is not too thick or greasy and the tartar sauce is homemade, which is absolutely some of the best we've had. Supply chain issues hinder some of the products that are available, but if you're ever in town, check out this local place. I've always had good service and great food.

We came up to check out the farmers market in Ridgefield....We were hungry and weren't sure if what so we checked out the local reviews...We chose this place but was disappointed. You walk in and it's a convenient store but you walk towards the right side of the building & into the "restaurant/bar" area. Super cute with all the sports memorabilia...Great Tap Options (if you're into beer) and menu options limited but deep fried isn't too bad. The service was not what I would expect since they were in the store portion except to bring us our order. The burgers were okay but presented well. Next time we are in the area, we will see what other options are available.

    Great little tap room.

I have not yet bought groceries or u-bake pizza, but I have visited their tap room with an excellent selection of craft beers. Rumor has it that they also have wine and a great burgers. I can't believe that there are only 2 reviews. This is a great little spot. Pub options are limited in Ridgefield. The tap room is slightly hidden with an entrance within the grocery store. We tried a variety of beers including a porter, stout Mexican dark lager and Dog Fish Head 60 Minutes. All great, and small batch brews. I will definitely be back.

Chicken Sandwich with the works! Portions are big!

We chose a table on the patio behind (partly to keep an eye on the bikes). As we sat waiting for menus, I glanced down and around and noticed how dirty it was. The ground near our table had several dirty napkins and other debris that hadn't been cleaned up. Our table was dirty as well. There was a blob of dried ketchup right in front of me. I asked our server if that could be cleaned up and she brought a couple wet napkins and tried to get it off and finally said, "There" and walked away. Well, it was still there. So I took a couple napkins myself and used water from my glass and after a little work it came off. The tables aren't solid so there is lots of dried goo between the slats as well. It just gave me the impression that cleanliness isn't a high priority at this establishment. One can only hope they keep the kitchen cleaner. Nevertheless we decided to give the food a try. My mom always taught me that "when in doubt order a burger. They can't mess that up", so I did, with "beer batter fries". The fries were great and I can recommend them. The burger was also pretty good. I got the cheeseburger (it has a clever name which I've forgotten). My husband was disappointed with his cilantro rice bowl, however. It was bland with not enough beans. The sauce tasted like mayo and sriracha sauce mixed together but it didn't have enough oomph to add much flavor to the dish. When our server came by and asked about the food my husband wasn't even finished answering her and she said she was sorry and walked away. Maybe you have to have enough alcohol under your belt to enjoy the food? We're out of luck because we don't drink. Sorry, Playmakers, we don't want to go back.

Inside its spread out, so even if it were busy, I don't think it would be overly loud. We arrived on Sunday just as they were switching from brunch to lunch and were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive throughout our time there and explained their daily specials. Our table all opted for the daily special, which was a smash burger with fries for $10. I inquired if I could sub out for a veggie patty and the waitress said it was not an issue. Our food arrived within 15 minutes and everyone enjoyed the burgers. They were all topped with a delicious deep fried pickle chip, however I do wish they would have put actual pickles on the burgers. Otherwise, they were delicious! The veggie burger appeared to be homemade or at least higher quality as you could see the oats in the patty. The beef burgers were all thinly smashed and had the crispy edges you expect from a smash burger. Although they have a full bar, none of our table opted for a cocktail. This is definitely a good spot for a family meal or a brunch with friends.
