I've yet to make a bad to selection at Longhorn. This time around, I had the chicken and ribs combo which was nothing short of delicious with a matching loaded sweet potato coupled with a creamy side of mac n cheese! To wash it all down, I had a dragonfruit margarita to wash it all down after savoring one of my favorite meal combinations!

This was my first time going to LongHorn in years and I had a positive experience. I decided to order the lemon garlic chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and I highly recommend for anyone who doesn't have a big appetite. The salad was just okay. Our waitress was super kind and very fast bringing everything we needed out.

I stopped in last night for dinner after a long drive. My waitress was super friendly and checked in on me often. I decided on the 9oz filet with roasted brussel sprouts, that came with bread and butter and a side salad. The bread was served warm and the salad was fresh. The filet melted in my mouth and was super flavorful. The brussel sprouts were served with a honey butter that was very tasty. All in all, I was very pleased with my meal.

Update from April 27th- Immediately sat down & enjoyed the Parmesan spinach dip for an appetizer with no wait! We both ordered lamb chops & was too full to eat all of it but was seasoned well. The highlight was the Brussel sprouts! Goodness! They were yummy

Went for lunch and had a sirlon steak and loaded. baked potato. The steak was average in both taste and chew. The potato was decent. No waiting to get seated. Server was efficient and friendly. Warm bread was also average.

12/24/24: We stopped by to get a bite to each for lunch. It was our first visit. Unfortunately, the hostess left much to be desired. She was NOT friendly at all. There was no one else waiting & she was near the bar area just lollygagging. She acted like we were interrupting her when she came to thr podium. She didn't speak. She just looked at us and I told her it was 2 of us. She TOLD us to follow her & she took us to our booth. She didn't say anything else. She just walked away. We still looked over the menu when I was already turned off just to give them a chance. We didn't see anything that appetizing to still give them our business. As we walked out, our waiter was walking towards us. He was more friendly and told us to have a Merry Christmas. That is the only reason they are getting 3 stars. I can't speak on food. The service of the hostess ruined our visit. We won't be back.

The food was delicious. The waitress was ok. If you have not tried the firecracker chicken roll ups you need to. They are awesome

I went to a Longhorn Steakhouse in Orlando a few months ago. It was pretty good so we decided to try this one tonight, while we were in Raleigh. We used the "Waitlist" function for this restaurant to cut down our wait time. It worked well since this restaurant was pretty busy. I had a nice 6oz Steak that was cooked to perfection (the way I ordered it - Medium Rare) with a Baked Potato and side salad. My son had a New York that he really liked and his girlfriend ordered a Strawberry Pecan Salad (the salad was really large) We had a very attentive server who really looked after us. Overall nice experience with good food!!

I've been wanting to try Longhorn after I saw the hysteria about the lamb chops. I asked my friend to accompany me since she had never been also. I went online to see about making reservations, they didn't allow but you could join the waitlist and I'm glad I did. The waitlist stated about 15-20 mins, once we arrived they stated about 15 minutes, we went to the bar to have a drink. Our waitress Jazmin was very nice, I could tell she was very busy. We started off with the shrimp and peppers appetizer, it was nice and hot and very good. I opted for the Parmesan crusted lamb chops that come with spinach and mashed potatoes and one other side, I chose broccoli. I was a little thrown off when our server asked if I wanted it soft, asked her to explain. She stated they would steam twice, I said no. I like my broccoli to have some crunch, but it was overcooked. The lamb chops were delicious, a little too much cheese for me but the spinach was the best thing on my plate. My companion ordered the full rack of ribs sauce on the side. The ribs looked as if they could have been placed under the broiler for about ten minutes, they also lacked seasoning. She stated the corn was good, and the baked potato was also good. I will go back to try a steak. The place was very busy for a Monday night, it's a large restaurant, very nice relaxed atmosphere.

Always a good time! No fuss no muss for a quick bite...which turned into being there for over an hour. Service was great. Food was good!! Shrimp were cooked just right! (I abhor overcooked tough shrimp...dont you?) Hubs ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Mac and cheese was ok...needed a teensy bit more cheese. But overall GOOD EATS!

Pic of our plates we were left to sit with. Would have been all the appetizer plates and empty cups if I had not got up to move them.

I was influenced by TikTok to try some good menu items and had never been to a Longhorn. I really wish I had just spent $100 on groceries. My expectations weren't high, I wasn't expecting fine dinging but the bare minimum wasn't met. Long greet time, our server couldn't hear anything we were saying even with repeating multiple times. Our order came out wrong, no plates were ever cleared I had to move our dishes to the bus station across from us so we could have room from apps to main course. The baked potato tasted like nasty tap water, I spit it out. We never got our split plate so I portioned my food onto a dirty appetizer plate. And cut my steak with the ginormous knife on my tiny plate. The server had long gaps from when we'd see her again. If they have a food running policy I hate that for them because service lacked if they choose to understaff and overwork. We tipped good anyway, went on our way and won't be back. &&& where is the Christmas decorations?

Dinner was served family style, each course timed perfectly. We ate thru NC BBQ, chicken, deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, brisket, greens, mac & cheese, carrot cake and double chocolate cake. Our server Billy was fantastic and nothing fazed him. Special orders, drinks, the entire evening he made look easy (and we know how hard he worked). The sampler has wings, pimento cheese balls, soul rolls and southern style deviled eggs. The wings had a good flavor to them very traditional bbq style taste, the cheese balls were right up my alley crunchy outside and gooey on the inside. My first time trying deviled eggs I can say they were actually pleasant. The soul roll had this good taste with a subtle head to it just to spice it up. Overall really enjoyable apps. With so many options to choose from we all ended up getting the Double combo. I had Brisket and bbq chicken with Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts and. Sweet potatoe casserole. The chicken was the only piece lacking in comparison to the others. The brisket was very solid, very good enough to order again. The sides however were amazing. The Mac and cheese had such a good taste to it, the brussel sprouts had a blend with bacon bits and something glazed on them that was perfect and the sweet potatoes was another great side addition to the rest. Service was great our waiter gave us suggestions and was very patient with us and even gave us some small servings on the house. Very great time in a place you should visit

We sat down in the dining room after finding menus. After deciding what we wanted, we got in line to place our order. The line moved somewhat slowly but after ordering, it did not take long for the food to come out. I had the Sam Jones Sandwich with potato salad and added a side of mac and cheese. My partner ordered the ribs with collard greens and fries. Everything we ordered was very good, and everyone at the table was happy with their meal. There were a couple of minor service details that could have been better. They put a roll of paper towels on the table, but ours was empty. I also noticed after the fact that our table had two bottles of the sweet BBQ sauce, while other tables appeared to have both the sweet sauce and a more vinegary BBQ sauce. That was a little disappointing because I really did not care for the sweet sauce and wish I had known there was another option before I had already eaten most of my sandwich. Those were small issues, though. Overall, the food was excellent, the experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely go back.
