We decided to leave the house after the winter storm and we landed here. The wait for 2 was over an hour long so we snatched the last 2 seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly and service was great. I was very hungry and got the sirloin with 2 Rosa shrimp kebabs loaded baked potato no sour cream and a salad. I recommend the balsamic vinegarette. We came here late last night after my sons Soccer game. We arrived at 9:45. I anticipated being turned away because I believe they close at 10. We didn't get turned away and were seated promptly. The chicken was extremely salty however. I still loved it but ate half and took the rest back to my hotel room as to not upset my blood pressure. Visited this location over the weekend with my family for a nice dinner. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are helpful and friendly. We got the cheddar stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, which were great I would definitely order again. Our table got a mixture of steak and Parmesan Crusted chicken entrees. The chicken is out of this world. It is my favorite thing to get here. It's always cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. I got a loaded baked potato and Mac n cheese for my sides which were also great. The Mac is super creamy and comes with Parmesan crust on top, worth the extra charge to add it on. Everyone who got steaks loved them and they were cooked to their liking. I finished my dinner with a strawberry shortcake which was delicious. We will definitely be back! read more

What's the point of call ahead seating ?? We called 630pm on a Saturday night for 715pm arrival . They said it's not a problem. We were seated at 830pm. We would have been seated just as quick if we showed up at 8pm without the call ahead. Could have spent over a hour doing something more intelligent instead of standing around in the waiting area feeling like a heard of cattle . I understand it was Saturday night , but it would be nice if they telL you over the phone it's going to be a two hour wait. Once we did still down to eat we ordered the flos filet, which is excellent. Service was very good . I LOVE food. As my belly shows, I enjoy eating. I also enjoy giving positive reviews. However, it's becoming harder and harder to do with the unfortunate experiences we have had lately. Our latest visit was to Longhorn Steakhouse in Florence, KY. We LOVE the spicy chicken bites as an appetizer, so we ordered those immediately when we sat down along with our drinks. Well, the sweet tea came out, then the bread. Then shortly thereafter, my chopped steak and my fiancée's 6oz sirloin. Still no chicken bites. I cut into my chop steak, which I ordered well, it was so pink, it was shades of red in a few small places. I trimmed around the side where it WAS cooked, and it was SUUUPER salty. I HATE sending food back, but I thought I should definitely do so this time again. Well, after 10-15 minutes, our server hadn't passed by and my fiancée was pretty parched from an empty glass, so we just spoke with the manager when she passed. She was very kind, and apologized for the failure to get the chicken bites out and the delay in our server coming by. (By the way, it was hardly busy and they had PLENTY of staff.) The manager did make things right, but it was a disappointment overall because over the last few years, we have visited a Longhorn somewhere here or there and have ALWAYS had a stellar experience. I do have to compliment the Florence store for being very clean and living up to the country theme as they should! Don't let me deter you from stopping in! If nothing else, just order the spicy chicken bites....as long as they remember to bring them out. LOL!!!!! Maybe you will get Andy, who is one of the best servers there! Happy grubbin! read more

Service was excellent and food good quality and well prepared. My husband and I have cravings for steak, we decided to come to Longhorn Steakhouse to feed the carnivores within us. It's Sunday @ 6:15. The waiting area was crowded, and when I asked for a table for 2, the host said the wait will be at least 20 minutes. Not bad, but I was pleasantly surprised when we were buzzed that we have a table ready after 10 minutes. We have Andy as our server tonight, he was really nice, polite and efficient. He got our drink orders once the hostess seated us, we didn't wait long when he delivered our drinks- I got a margarita and my husband got non- alcoholic beer which I'm glad they serve this in this restaurant. We were ready to order when he delivered our drinks, and of course we did not wait long when he delivered our complimentary bread with butter. I'm glad that the wait for food was not too long since we were famished- I ordered medium rare ribeye with a side of fully loaded potato and my husband and got a specialty burger. We were both very pleased with our food. I even asked for an extra bread which Andy willingly obliged. I did not rate the restaurant 5 due to some smell in the restaurant I cannot explain, maybe it's just me. It's not as clean as I prefer, but what do you expect when it's peak hours. read more
