I can't report on dessert, because none of us had any room left for it. Credit the baked potatoes that came with the meal. I ordered a broccoli side dish, but the server told me they were out of it, and he traded me up to the extra-cost-option asparagus. It did taste good and wasn't overcooked. My coworkers and I came here for late lunch during our break because we were craving steaks. The spinach dip appetizer on flat pita bread was surprisingly good but it makes you crave beer so order yourself a nice 20oz draft beer to complement the dish. I tried the renegade sirloin with red rock shrimps and upgraded my steak to 8oz. For sides I got their mac and cheese and it was really good. The steak, however, this was not the first time they messed up the temperature. My steak was cooked to well done when I asked for medium. The server asked all of us what our desired temperature was, why ask, if you are going to serve well done steak anyway? They took a long time to bring out the entrees and our break time was running out, so I didn't bring this to the server's attention. Mac and cheese and the spinach dip really was 5/5 stars until the steak came. The server was nice and friendly. Merry Christmas. They deserved 3 stars for a rough start but got 4 because I'm in a jolly mood. We walked in and stood on line watching while 2 people had a conversation and then a 3rd joined. It literally wasn't until someone said "Hello?" that they decided to start seating people... Once we got to the table food came out quickly, exactly as ordered and tasted great. I looked forward to visiting Longhorn due to all the positive reviews. Sadly, this particular Longhorn in Boynton Beach was depressingly bad. Server literally plopped down the menus and cutlery, then took off. I could understand if the restaurant was crowded, but it was almost deserted. Ordered the 8 oz sirloin medium done, and it took over half an hour to be served. Barely warm. It was tough and tasteless, but it was cooked medium. Restaurant was not very clean and had a bad smell. Both server and greeter acted like they disliked their jobs. No second chance. We will never return to this chain. read more

No reservations her bit they do have a "call ahead" on the website. They text you when your table is ready and they have a QR code to pay whenever you want. It comes with rice, which I don't eat- so I got three sides green beans, loaded baked potato and Mac and cheese (which had an up charge). The salmon was perfectly cooked and was delicious. It was pretty crowded but they were able to seat us right away. The crowd was very mixed ages, mostly very casually dressed. We were waited on promptly, drink orders taken and brought. Food orders taken and also brought out promptly but correctly. Appetizer first... baked stuffed mushrooms which were really delicious. Smothered in cheese. So yummy. They gave us a loaf of warm bread which was great for mopping up the extra cheese. Then they brought out the strawberry salad and shrimp and lobster soup. The salad came with the entree and it was very big and very tasty. Had lots of ingredients in it not just lettuce my shrimp and lobster soup was also very thick and tasty. I enjoyed it a lot. Our main courses were the bone in ribeye and a 6 ounce fillet both ordered medium and both came out. Perfect seasoned really well. Both surprisingly delicious. Both of ours came with a loaded baked potato, although I had ordered mashed potato, but it was fine and very tasty. Mine also came with asparagus, which were cooked really perfectly also delicious. Decided to take the scale out and weigh it by ounces, turns out it's only 4 ounces so if you decide to get the 6 oz or the 8 oz subtract two from both and you'll know what you're getting, rest of the food was great little disappointed. The steak arrived at the table medium rare just like I wanted it, with the baked potato. The baked potato was horrible; however, the steak was delicious, juicy to the point where it was intoxicating. I tasted the salmon that my friend ordered, and it was pretty tasty, although eating steak and tasting salmon doesn't do justice to the salmon. The service was mediocre at best, but the company was the best. The last two times I went to Longhorn Steakhouse, the food was good. The prior three or four times I went, the steaks were horrible. I've been going to Longhorn for more years than I could remember, and I was hoping that they would come back and serve quality again. It seems like they have arrived.
