It appears that inflation has hit BurgerFi hard. The $10 burger & beer special went up to $12 over the past few years and eventually rose to $17 for a burger and a soft drink. Yep, you read that right. No more burger and beer special on Thursdays. Just over-priced quick-serve burgers, fries and soft drinks. The burger was okay and the fries still come in large quantities, but the whole experience has gone downhill as the price has risen. On a positive note, the place was clean and the cashier was pleasant. Overall, I'm now giving BurgerFi a "meh" rating. read more

Recently, my experiences at BurgerFi have included receiving overly salty food, encountering app glitches, and being given the wrong order entirely. Most recently, I attempted to use the curbside pickup service but was unable to reach anyone by phone for several minutes. Upon going inside, I was told the phone system was not working. These types of issues do not occur at better-run establishments, and I will be choosing to dine elsewhere in the future. read more

Two months ago, I stopped in here for lunch and had an awful experience. I approached the counter and ordered a hot dog with sauerkraut, onion rings along with a bottle of water. The young girl behind the counter was helpful in answering a few questions and was very sweet. I was told to take a seat, and my order will be brought to me. The restaurant was empty, so I quickly found a table. Went to the condiment station to get some mustard. The small cups of mustard were not sealed properly, and there were quite a few gnats flying around. When the sweet counter girl brought out my food, I requested some fresh mustard. I casually mentioned the pre-made cups of mustard were messy and not properly closed, which attracted the flying bugs. She quickly brought me some fresh mustard, and I thanked her. The food looked good. As we all know, looks can be deceiving. The hot dog was like rubber, and after two small bites, I was done. The onion rings could have been cooked better as they were not crispy. Between the gnats and less than subpar food, I was eager to leave. Ironically, this is the point where a few gnats started flying over my tray, eventually landing on top of the hot dog. I could have requested a refund or asked to speak with a manager, but I was so put off by this experience that I decided to call it a day. I was very impressed with the Wagyu burger they had and the Onion rings are very crunchy, just the way I like it. I can't rate the food at this location. Went in today (on a Sunday) around 3pm. There were 2 employees in the entire place. Both were running around primarily filling online orders. They looked like they were both 17. It must've taken about 10 minutes before one of them finally said, "sorry we're short handed. We'll be right with you." Meanwhile the line behind us began to grow. The most attentive thing in the whole place were the flies that buzzed around our heads. I've had food from Burger Fi before. At a location in NYC and at a location in the Carolinas. Both times I found it to be low quality slop. Do they still do that stupid thing where they brand their logo onto the food? I'm really not interested in eating a billboard, thanks. I went in this time because I always like to give things a chance and was intrigued when it seemed they had expanded their menu. Again, as far as this location goes they were understaffed and it seemed clear that even if we did ever get to order it would probably take even longer to get that order. So we left. Was there a manager there somewhere? Where did they go? Do they have any knowledge about what's going on there today? Do they care? Seems like getting orders filled in a timely fashion is a BIG PROBLEM at this location. Not sure what the fix is but maybe it's time to close this location and to put this company and its concept to bed already. UPDATE: went back several days later. There were several people working behind the counter this time. Ordered the regular fries and a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was serviceable the fries were flavorless. I went and ordered a cheeseburger combo and my younger sibling ordered a kids meal. The burgers came out and they are the exact same size, what a scam (mine was an extra $3)! I expected mine to be bigger and maybe I ordered wrong so whatever. Either way, the patties were rubbery, TINY, and tasted like frozen school lunch with no special toppings. Mind you I've ordered a burger from here online before and it was good but had two patties so this time i opted for the one patty cheeseburger. The name on uber eats was Burgerfi cheeseburger, okay... so when I ordered I said cheeseburger and clarified it was one patty. It came out and the meat quality was completely different from the one i've bought before. Be consistent!!! Why do you guys have 3 different types of beef, just pick the best one and stick with it, how am i supposed to know which one i'm getting when each item has something different? To add onto the saddening meal, the fries came out borderline burnt so I sent them back and the second batch came out soggy and drowned in oil, how disappointing. I've been dying to try BurgerFi for a while. And today we got to go in there. I got the veggieFi burger and my husband got the spicyFi chicken sandwich Their veggieFi burger was a nice combination between quinoa and vegetables and it was also slightly crispy on the outside. It had lettuce and tomato and some sort of sauce on it on a whole grain bun. I thought it was delicious. My husbands chicken was fried amd had lettuce , tomatoes, pickles and a ghost pepper honey sauce. We had a very good 3 1/2 star lunch here the other day. We were looking for something fast and casual yet decent and this fit the bill. I was surprised at how busy they were -- both inside seating and for takeout. Lots of take out by those who'd pre-ordered on their app. And the line kept flowing. It was easy to order at the counter. Then they called your name to pick it up at he counter or they brought your food to you -- depending on how busy they were. We did have to request some additional condiments which they brought out in mini cups. They no longer have everything out for shared usage. I'd been intrigued by reading about their CEO burger and decided this was the time to try it. It was very very good though a bit messy. The "candied bacon tomato jam" had sounded intriguing and it was very tasty along with the aioli sauce. Of course, the burger meat itself was good -- a blend of wagyu and brisket. I got it as a single, but if you're hungrier, you can usually get it as a double stack. I can see why it's very popular. I also got a regular sized side order of onion rings -- to take a break from potatoes. They were perfectly cooked wide slices of very large onions fried in a light batter. Particularly good dipped in ketchup. Their prices are a tad higher than the usual fast food places, but the quality is way better as well. I'd definitely come back again. So today I had some errands to run with a friend, we were very hesitant to eat inside with all this coronavirus stuff. But Scott and Greg happen to be inside! Who are they you ask? The owners of course! All the staff were wearing their masks, everything was sanitized and patron's were social distancing. Seating was spread out to the proper 6 feet. The food was prepared perfect, temp was hot and served at a reasonable time frame. The place was very clean, no dirty tables, floor was swept and soda machine area clean as well. My husband and kids loved their cheeseburgers as well as fries and I have to say that the red velvet concrete was pretty good on my end. Just finished a quick takeout dinner -- single burger with L+T, double bacon burger and onion rings. $25. Each patty was no more than 1/4" thick, the lettuce was withered (I discarded), and the rings were soaked in oil. I get the high price for a couple burgers, everyone is in that situation, but the quality and quantity of the food were not satisfactory. Won't return. read more

We grabbed to go this past weekend and honestly I'd do it again! It was pretty busy when we walked in around 6:15pm and we waited a good 10-15 for the order to be ready. We didn't mind since everything was made fresh to order! We got burgers, 1 in lettuce wrap and the others with 1 patty or 2, onion rings, fries and a milkshake! This burgerFi location is close to our home and perfect for pick up for us. We usually place the order there and everything is made fairly quickly. The employees are great and make us feel welcome each time. Our go to number 1 thing to order us their milkshakes. The chocolate one is excellent. It's rich, creamy and yummy. Also have tried the beyond burger- this option is for people not eating meat. It tastes good and I like how they make it. Really recommend it if you are trying a plant based diet.
