WAGYU BURGER.
Theodosios C.

Cuisine. GOOD. Ordered a WAGYU Burger whose taste paled in comparison to the OG Breakfast Sandwich. The Sandwich along with the HASH Cakes and Beef Tallow FRIES were NEXT LEVEL in terms of flavor. Due to the SMALL PORTIONS and HIGH PRICE POINT I'd dine at POBLANO on occasion. RECOMMEND.

I went for breakfast, the food was fresh and delicious. it was homemade and cooked well. the service was quick after ordered. the ambiance is good for what it is, seems like a pop-up type it is in a food court type in the back of a strip mall. well worth the find. I am excited to try the smash burgers.

The food deserves 5 stars. Absolutely delicious. My only negative is the location is in a shared kitchen space (Lake Ida food hall) with 2 other kitchens and VERY minimal seating. It's basically a take out spot. The fries got a bit cold and lost their crispness on the drive home which is a shame because the aroma of those fries were intoxicating the whole way. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Burger was juicy with TONS of flavor. Service was very friendly and took about 12 minutes to get my order with 2 other people there. I'm already craving another burger. Definitely try the hash cakes if you're a fan of McDonald hash browns.

This place is really a hidden gem... Oh my gosh... Marty comes to our Lunch Market and the Chorizo burgers are AMAZING!!!! nothing I have experience before.. the taste and salsa is awesome... I got their Original Breakfast with sausage and im in love .. the cream cheese!!!! And the salsa they put on there is just out of this world... I highly recommend them .. you will not be disappointed!!!

Sausage egg and cheese on ciabatta bread. The sausage Patty is pressed like a Smashburger with a crispy edge absolutely delicious.

It's a corners store with a shared kitchen orders take about 15 minutes, but worth the wait.

By far one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Amazing flavors, everything blends so well. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast sandwich you need to eat this. The hash was amazing but paired with the strawberry jam perfection. You guys will be seeing me very soon. ( I can only imagine how good the burgers are if this is how good your breakfast is)

Underrated smash burgers, quality meat! Can't wait until they're able to open up their own spot. We miss you at the owl diner! Get the wagyu stack with pickled jalapenos

The Rizo is just so good! My guilty pleasure for sure and the owner is so nice/cool. 10/10 every time.

The best burger I've ever experienced by far. We've visited Poblano South when they come to Clematis by Night in WPB. Everyone is so friendly and the flavor is to die for. Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

Hey, so I'm not too sure if this place is close to Oakland Park or not, but I just wanted clarification on if they're ever at this address: 1315 SW First Ct., Pompano Beach, FL 33410, as this is the only location listed I'm able to drive to?

We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

I took that recommendation seriously because Florida Nacho Man takes all nacho intelligence seriously. That person owes me $14.50. The plate arrived. Full size ceramic plate, good choice, holds heat. Holds heat the way the surface of the sun holds heat, actually. No warning. No heads up. Just a plate that could cause a medical incident set down in front of you with the quiet confidence of something that had nothing to apologize for. It did not. There were eight chips on it. Eight. On a full size plate. Rattling around like survivors on a burning raft. At $14.50, that works out to $1.81 per chip. I want everyone to sit with that math for a moment. Each chip had a spoonful of highly underseasoned ground beef on it. Individually placed. The sour cream was piped in decorative swirls like this was a thin nacho cake -- tasteless, unattractive, sad, with no business in a Mexican restaurant. The lettuce was iceberg, roughly chopped, room temperature, just another passenger on this train of sadness. The jalapeños were pickled, piled in the center, and had the heat of a decorative garnish because that is all they were. The cheese welded the chips to the plate. Fork Rule violated. At a Mexican restaurant. For nachos. Shame on them. I ate all eight chips in pursuit of a redeeming quality. There was not one. Alas. The margarita was $5.50 on happy hour special. It also sucked. 1.5/10. The Ghost Nacho. Just avoid this place altogether.

Of the five tacos I tried, the crispy grouper was my favorite. The chipotle aioli and citrus slaw made for a tasty blend, and the fish had a light, crispy crunch. We ordered at the register, they gave us a number and then delivered the food to our table. The cashier was very accomodating and kind. I asked if there were any mocktails, but unfortunately there weren't. There were multiple types of alcoholic beverages behind where you order including different margarita flavors. We ordered the trio of street corn, mild salsa and guacamole to start which ended up being a better deal than just guac alone! The street corn is an absolute MUST! It's so creamy and cheesy. SO delicious. The guacamole is also extremely creamy and the flavors blended perfectly. I got a carne asada taco and a chicken taco. Out of all of the taco places I've tried around the area, I must say that Dos Amigos has got THE BEST recipe for the softest, most tender chicken!!! It was melt in your mouth type of incredible, which I have NOT found in other taco spots. There were tomatos and shredded cheese on the tacos as well. My mom ordered a saint patty's taco that was similar to a "Reuben" that they were going to remove from the menu in a few days! There was Cole slaw and corned beef on it. She said it was fantastic and unique! Overall, wonderful experience. We are already talking about coming back!

We were there at 6 pm, there were only (10) people there. This is a community restaurant, being silly about free chips are costing them $$$. The salsa is BAD, tomato paste bitter, tasteless with onion & green peppers. They need to visit La Bamba to learn how to make it. *This review is for the Patron Margarita we tried last night. *…read more We've been here before and it was a great experience so we decided to come back last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We tried the Patron Margarita and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The drink was watery and lacked the vibrant, tangy punch that a margarita should have. The lime flavor was almost non-existent. The tequila was barely detectable, and the balance between the ingredients was completely off. To top it off, there were so much ice leaving the drink diluted and weak. For the price, I expected something much more refreshing and well-crafted. This margarita missed the mark completely. After addressing the issue with our server twice, he finally talked to the bartender. The bartender came to our table and offered to give a shot of tequila to add to the watered down margarita, but still, it didn't quite hit the mark. I really appreciated the bartender's effort to accommodate and make things right. It's clear they care about customer satisfaction. Despite the drink not being up to par, the service was friendly and attentive. I'll give it another shot in the future, but hopefully, the margarita recipe gets a little more consistency.

Knowing lunch ended at 3:00, we had the lunch menu in hand. At one point, our server started walking toward our table, but after seeing me looking at the lunch menu, he turned around and went back to the bar to put dishes away. It honestly felt like he was trying to delay taking our order. My husband eventually had to call him over before 3:00. We ordered mahi-mahi tacos, and I was ordering the margarita chicken from the lunch menu. Instead of ringing it in right away, he waited until it was exactly 3:00 before telling us lunch was over. We asked to speak with the manager immediately. By the time she came to our table, it was still 3:00, yet she insisted there was nothing she could do because the computer wouldn't allow it. After I explained that I'd worked in restaurants and knew managers could make exceptions in situations like this, she finally agreed--but then rolled her eyes, walked away, and laughed with the server. My husband witnessed the whole thing. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable eating food prepared by people who were openly laughing at us, so we left. This was never about saving a few dollars. It was about customer service and doing the right thing. We've been loyal customers for years because we truly love the food, but the way we were treated today was so unprofessional that we may never come back. It's really sad because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant, but if this is how customers are treated and how management handles situations, it's not the kind of business I want to support.
