Ribs are the same as usual. I tried the funny bonz today. They are the ends of the ribs. Most of them were dried out and overcooked. I won't get them again. The corn bread/cake and garlic bread was good. The Mac and cheese hasn't changed. The sweet potato fries are great as usual. Upcharge is $1.50 even if you only get one side. Running out of other sides I like. Price for a whole rack is now $32.00. Monday special has them at 20.99. Service was fast. Not very busy at all. I do miss the days when they were very busy. Great memories here. There's a takeout window that is busier than restaurant.

This probably is a little higher than three, unfortunately it is not a four star restaurant. The ribs are actually pretty tasty but at $32 for a full rack that is almost the same price as a upscale restaurant. The service is decent for what it is, but not good enough to be considered a four star restaurant. The way they greet you when you walk in is by screaming across the restaurant to sit whatever you want. Overall a decent place if you're looking for some ribs to eat

I am so happy to have stopped in for lunch after my usual BBQ joint was closed for vacation. I may never go back to the other place because the food and service at PA BBQ was so good. I went on a Saturday for lunch and the very nice server said they had a lunch special that included a 1/4 BBQ chicken (light or dark meat) and 1/4 lb of pulled pork that seemed like a little more, with 2 sides and choice of garlic toast or cornbread. She also gave us a small bowl of sweet and spicy sliced pickes. My husband and I both got the daily special and our sided were mac ans cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and we tried both the cornbread and garlic toast. Everything was so good but we still couldn't finish and had to get doggie bags. I loved the variety of BBQ sauces on the table and the music in the background was great for the ambiance. We thought the soda price was a bit expensive compared to other restaurants but they did offer free refills. While we were there, the togo window to the parking lot was quite busy. The restaurant inside was not too busy but it was filling up as we were leaving. The wood decor added to the ambiance and the bar area had a great variety of options. I even saw bottles of moonshine in the background. This was a very good dining experience and I look forward to trying their BBQ ribs.

Food tastes great, we got back ribs and sides french fries, corn , corn bread , collard greens and mashed potatoes and applesauce , garlic bread . . Service is quick and friendly waitress , family friendly atmosphere . Plenty of seating area inside . No steps to come in restaurant . There is a ramp sidewalk also . We come to pabbq every year when we visit this area in Florida .

Decent BBQ. Wouldn't rave about it to neighbors but good enough to go back. BBQ sauce was bomb and sandwich was solid size (ask for pickles). We all know BBQ is nothing without its sides! We got the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Mac was mouse size and no gravy for the taters but they were tasty! All in all - solid and reasonably priced.

PA BBQ is our go-to place for Bar-B-Q, and we stop by every few months. The food is consistently good and the service is usually excellent. Until now. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich and request cornbread instead of the bun. It's never been an issue until our last visit when the manager, Steven Brown, got involved and told me that he's been working at this location for 12 years and has never authorized the substitution of cornbread for the bun. I explained that I've been visiting this location for 14 years and have NEVER been refused my seemingly minor request. Sensing my frustration and recognizing that I was about to leave (which I was), the manager, who was clearly irritated that I would make such an outrageous request, agreed to allow me to have a piece of cornbread "just this once". I said that "just this once" would be sufficient because we weren't planning to ever return. To make matters worse, my dinner arrived with a burnt bun and no cornbread. I politely asked the food runner to get my cornbread. He was happy to do so. Clearly the manager never conveyed to the server nor the kitchen that he had grudgingly approved my cornbread request. The whole incident started with the server, who should be fired for her poor attitude. When I made my initial request for cornbread, she said that she'd have to check with the manager because she normally worked at another location and they didn't allow such a substitution. I explained that my request has ALWAYS been honored at the Boynton Beach location. After the food arrived, we never saw the server again. When she passed by our table, she saw that I had received the cornbread and had set the burnt bun aside. She must have been irritated that my request was honored because she did not once stop by our table to see how things were going or if we needed anything. She dropped off the check and picked up the payment with nary a word. Needless to say, her tip reflected this poor attitude and poor service. In fact, based on how we were treated, we probably shouldn't have left a tip at all. But the food runner and the kitchen staff did their jobs, so we wanted to be sure they received a portion of the tip. Why would the manager be willing to lose long-standing customers (including the friends we tell about this experience) over a piece of cornbread? Does it really cost the company that much more than a bun? If the issue was truly cost, the manager could have suggested that we pay a small upcharge for the cornbread. That would have been a reasonable compromise and a way to provide some semblance of customer service. We've noticed that PA BBQ is not nearly as busy as it had been in the past. The food is reasonably priced and tasty, with a nice selection of BBQ sauces. It's a good value, although the half-chicken with two sides at $14 is a much better deal than the thinly pounded single breast chicken sandwich with one side for $13. Perhaps customers are being driven away by the poor attitude of the staff and management?

We got the pulled pork sandwich, (the only tolerable item to eat) and the 2 meat combo with brisket & ribs. The sides were corn bread l, Mac & beans. The brisket was so dry, as shown in the photo and the ribs couldn't even been chewed off or cut off if we tried. They have two bbq sauces a smoked bbq sauce and a mustard sauce. No plain or basic bbq sauces. That could have made the pork a bit better. The Mac n cheese was good but came out cold. The beans tasted odd, then I looked at the menu and saw that they were vegetarian. Interesting. Lastly the cornbread... I couldn't believe it. It was soaked in some kind of hunny sauce. That was so sweet, if it was just the cornbread it would have tasted better. This is a hard pass. Sorry. Way too many places around to get good bbq.

He got the pulled pork with collard greens and beans. He liked it all. I tried his sides and they were great. I got the small brisket platter. There were only two slices of meat on the plate -- looked quite skimpy especially after removing the fatty edge. The meat was a bit dry and needed help -- by adding some of the sweet bbq sauce. I wouldn't order the brisket again. For my sides, I got the shells Mac n cheese. That was creamy. I liked it. And I got the sticky corn bread. That was a bit too sweet. I'd get it plain next time, if I got it again. We shared a sweet tea. I didn't care for it at all. There was so much honey flavor in it that it was almost thick and cloying. Not refreshing at all. I'd get a soda next time. For someone who loves sweet, I was surprised to ever find "too sweet" in my vocabulary. But I'd definitely come back to try the ribs or the pork. The pastrami sounds intriguing, but they don't always have it and it's not available on a set schedule. I asked about it and was told to call to see if they had it that day. But the lemony collards and beans will definitely be added into my future visit.

There were a couple trucks parked when we entered the shopping center on the SE corner of Congress and Lantana. My husband knew they were not the right ones. Your food is packed to go which worked out as we brought a few things home. They do a lot of takeout, obviously. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich. I got the rib sandwich. We shared a small order of baked beans. And he also got some banana pudding. His pulled pork was tender. He added some of their sweet sauce to taste. Ate every bit. My rib sandwich was also very good. I had it open faced. Didn't even need to add sauce. And brought a couple ribs home. The baked beans were fantastic. Nice bits of meat and great flavor. The pudding was my least favorite -- I only had a taste, but too many cookies for me. We even got to meet Howard. He came out to check all was good. And later he said hi to a few of his regular customers. He told us everything is "house" made. What a nice touch to meet the chef/founder! I now know where we will come when we have a bbq craving. And I need to try their rib tips and brisket as well.
