Lone Tree Brewing has a great atmosphere, great staff, and delicious beer! You can bring in food or have it delivered (they have a good collection of delivery menus on-site). The staff is incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. We went on a great tour on opening night to see how the process all works. They also are acquiring a nice collection of board games and their is ample seating. I highly recommend Lone Tree for a relaxing evening and great beer. My current favorite (I have sampled everything except the root beer that's been on tap so far) is the Hoppy Holiday Brown. Let's not mince words: this brewery produces epic quality beer that is on par and often exceeds the quality of brews coming out of New Belgium, Great Divide and Breckenridge. Let me start by saying, I'm not a big fan of Belgian Style Beers and IPA's, which are the rage in craft brew industry right now. That said, Jason's (the head brewer) IIPA and Ariadne are great beers for those inclined to IPAs and Belgian respectively. The lineup of flagships are stellar, top to bottom and crafted with an expert touch. LTB also has a nice rotation of seasonal and small batch beers, which are often very exceptional as well (May The Schwartzbier Be With You and Baltic Porter.) Now, if God said you could only drink on beer for the rest of your life and it was Acres O'Green Irish Red, I would say thank you sweet merciful lord. Yes its that good and any self-respecting beer connoisseur (not beer snobs) should make a Beer Hajj to drink this red. Lastly, the tasting room has become a bit of second home for my wife and me. First off this place is likely a 5 star joint but I'm only giving this place 4 stars because Yay! I'm a fan but its coming to the point where all breweries look the same and if they all look the same. They aren't setting themselves apart from the others to get that extra star. Which the other breweries won't get 5 stars either unless they've set themselves a part. I'll be moving closer to this place and I like the fact that this one is in an area thats not saturated with a bunch of breweries which I give them credit. I'll be back and maybe I can give that extra star since the location, atmosphere, and drinks are good. read more

This is one of my favorite local breweries. The bar has good rock / grunge music and friendly staff. Their beer is amazing. The highlights are the Black IPA, Hoptree double IPA, and IPL. Mondays feature discounted growlers. Only negative is no Happy hour. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

This is a great place for a low-key relaxing beer drinking event, and the beer selection is fantastic including my favorite Acres O'Green Irish Red and the Peach Pale Ale. They host food trucks with good food since they only offer free popcorn to curb your appetite. The staff is always friendly and if there isn't a band, they have games to keep you entertained while you enjoy their beer. Prices are reasonable too. One of my favorite micro brews in town. read more

Umm ... my first review. I appreciate what appears to be an expansion at Lone Tree, but to be honest, the beers are not that memorable - reminds me of a decent brewery beer ten years ago. But beers are so much better now, right? Aroma, complexity, texture .. give me something that excites. I want to be seduced by new flavors, smells, and mouth feel. Don't know why Lone Tree doesn't get that. When the next recession hits, this style of beer won't be left standing. Give me something unique. I want to bring my growlers along in anticipation of something special. You won't find it here. I'll continue to daydream about Dry Dock, Strange, Comrade, and Great Divide. This place looks like it would be fun on a Saturday night. I went on a Monday afternoon though. It was quiet only about 5 other people in the place. Figured the bartender would make at least small talk, but that didn't happen. Not a big deal, but I get a bit turned off when I am served and then a bartender goes and looks at a computer until someone else needs something. Place has a nice big bar and plenty of seating. They had at least 10-12 beers on tap, so there was plenty to try. But I went for the Oatmeal Stout to start. The way I would describe it would be boring. Very drinkable, but nothing to note. After I tried the Black Mtn Side Coffee Stout and again I was a little disappointed. Very drinkable, but nothing to note. After the two I figured I try out another brewery, there are plenty within 20-25 min. The popcorn was burnt and maybe old. Think it was from the night before. read more

Love these folks! Their beer is great, and their bartenders are incredible. Always a good crowd of people there, too. Pale Ale is my favorite! Pretty kid-friendly too, but the parents do a good job at controlling their kiddos unlike some other places. read more

Wow, color me impressed... This place puts some of the downtown breweries to shame. Was surprised to find such a good brewery down here (sorry Lone Tree :p). The one downside is that they close early during the week, 8pm until Thursday, def check the hours before trekking over. It's perfect if you are in the Park Meadows area though. They don't have a kitchen, but often have a food truck outside. FREE POPCORN INSIDE! Overall, a surprisingly solid brewery. I love their doppelbock (seasonal, on tap now), but pretty much all of their styles have impressed me. The peach ale is delicious, the IIPA packs a punch... These guys know how to please the whole spectrum. read more

Good Beer, Bad Customer Service. Do yourself a favor and try one of the multiple other craft/micro-breweries that are popping up along 470 from Parker, to Lone Tree, to Highlands Ranch where they truly still appreciate their customers and are working hard to earn your business (where as an example we stopped by the newly opened 3 Freaks Brewery on Saturday, and the owner Jeff (great guy who used to be a firefighter) came over and chatted with us for a while, and then went into the back and brought us out tasters of another one of his beers that he thought we would like), as opposed to LTBC where they seem to feel that customers are more of a necessary evil who are no longer as needed as they once were now that they are starting to see success and have started selling their beers outside of their own taproom. #CustomersTheNecesaryEvil read more

Kids, kids and more kids! Loud, loud and more loud. Probably due to concrete floors which I get because it is brewery. Beer was OK but the man did not like many of them. Food from the food truck serving Cajun NOLA food was FANTASTIC!!!! But next time we will get our food and sit in the car. Yes the atmosphere was that bad at 7:30 on a Friday night. There were even people in there who bought food off the truck, brought in the kids with other food and bought NO beer. I live in Highlands Ranch and am used to the kids scene at a lot of the places. But bringing kids to bar especially one that serves no food other than from a food truck (which is fine to do) is not acceptable. Maybe something has changed but I never took my kid out to bar and neither did my friends. GET A BABY SITTER! And if you cannot afford one STAY HOME. read more

Quality beer selection and a decent brewpub to drink those from. They have multiple growler size options and will fill outside growlers (still drives me crazy that some places won't). They appear to have a decent offering of seasonal selections to complement the standards. Nothing blew me out of the proverbial water, but I liked everything I drank, which is unusual. I've been back a few times since my last post. Beer is still good. Still charging $6 for a pint - the most I've found at a brewery in the Denver area yet. They are inconsistent with the pricing on their growlers. The price for IPA seems to change depending on who is working. Still no happy hour specials. Lone tree brewing is fantastic. Once inside the aroma of fermentation pierces your senses and you immediately realize this strip mall unit is not what it appears from the exterior. LTB knows how to make beer, everything I've had is very well executed. Hoptree IIPA is probably their flagship, and a very good one at that. It's definitely a second tier IIPA in the pantheon of that style, but it's damn good for colorado standards. Overall this is the best brewery in the area of south metro Denver. The beer here is incredible. I've purchased a growler to take some of the delicious brew home with me because of how much I enjoy it. The staff is always friendly and prompt. They have a great selection of games that are wonderful for when we come in a group. The ONLY reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the children. They are everywhere. There has not been one night that I've gone where it hasn't been full of children. I was elated to finally find a place to have a beer in the Lone Tree/Highlands Ranch area that was not at a restaurant (I know it's because of zoning restrictions that this area has no stand alone bars). I understand parents need a beer too, but they should save the trip for when they can find a babysitter. There are hundreds of restaurants where they can go that are child friendly. This brewery should be for adults only. I don't mean to sound so harsh to those with children, but for the rest of us, it would be oh so nice to finally have a place to sit and drink that isn't a restaurant, a place to be an adult and have adult conversations and not dodge children running around spoiling the mood. Can't those of us who are childless have a place to ourselves? read more
