clean and quiet joint with a great music and beer selection. the kolsch was yummy but yall... the pickel dilly with clamato was INCREDIBLE

The guy at the counter said a beer he had listed on the board wasn't made yet. I wanted a taster, should have not been there but I got another. read more

The staff are amazing here and the beer is fantastic! My husband enjoyed their beers and company for a couple hours while I was getting a tattoo next door at The White Lotus. I stopped in for a beer after my tattoo. We will definitely go back read more

Beer was horrible. I hate to say this, but I cannot recommend this place. We've been going to breweries and ranking them for years (at least 50-60) and this was BY FAR the worst. Maybe we got them on a bad day but we went on a Friday at 3:00 and we were the only ones there. That says a lot. There are plenty of great options within just a few miles. read more

What a fun, friendly and welcoming brewery!! And the beers were great. I am pretty picky about beers and only have a small range of what I like, they hit the spot. I got the Belgian ale and my friend got the Amber, both were yummy. I also appreciate the "Cheers" vibe here. You know, sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, am I right??! We had to take off after one drink, but my friend and I sat and chatted a while and several people stopped by because they "couldn't help but notice" our glasses were empty. They were getting ready to do trivia, I was so tempted for stay!!! Looking forward to my next visit to hang out and try more yummy beers! read more

Oh 3 Freaks, I want to like you. I really do. You're so close to home, have an outdoor patio for those warm summer days and even offer a check in special (10% off your tab). Sure, your space is dog friendly (say hi to Brewer!), has gotten a facelift and your staff is incredibly nice, but the vibes and brews are just off. Yes, I said it. With board games thrown in one corner, merch in the other, local art on the walls and fresh bouquets of flowers on each table, I'm just confused. Like what vibe are you going for, or are you trying too hard? Yes,a flight allows us patrons to sample the wide array of brews you, well, brew, I haven't been impressed. Everything falls a bit flat, doesn't offer real depth and is expensive to sample. I'm sorry 3 Freaks, it's you, not me. read more

Great beer option, super friendly staff and welcoming regulars. Offer nice pretzel and other snacks. Will return!

Happened on this friendly place, sampled some tasty beers, and took away crowlers of Dude's Oatmeal Stout and the yummy Scuba Rick IPA. Place is under new ownership by father-son pair, so stop by and check 'em out! read more

3 Freaks Brewery - Scuba Rick & Dude's Oatmeal Stout crowlers - Breweries Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Our favorite local watering hole. We stop in for a pint or two every couple of weeks. Owner Geoff and Brewer the little brew dog are always happy to see us, the beer is always excellent, and the crowd is eclectic and friendly. The music leans towards the blues (especially Susan Tedeschi, the owner's favorite), there's usually sports on the TVs, and sometimes the regulars pull out the poker table for a game. Good friendly joint with a feel like a local English pub. read more

Such a fun brewery! It has a great atmosphere and some very nice beers. I had a yoga pants IPA which I may have bought solely for the name but turned out delicious. The owner was friendly and remembered my named. A great local brewery, a bit tucked away (of course), but you can find it. I recommend it based not only on the beer but the welcoming environment. read more

IPA & Kolsch were undrinkable. Sorry, but the beers couldn't be finished. IPA TASTED LIKE detergent and kolsch had no Taste.

Being the new kid on the block is never easy. And with so many new and interesting breweries popping up all across the metro area and state, it is hard not to get lost in the shuffle. I had run into one of the owners a few weeks before they opened, while enjoying a beer nearby at Lone Tree Brewing. He told me about Three Freaks opening and gave me some of the concept behind it. One of the ways he described it was as a nano-brewery. I know there is not a completely accepted definition of what a nano-brewery is, but many say it is a a brewery that does less that 3 bbls in production per batch. In a more general sense, this is currently a small operation, that has growth potential (should they wish to). I came on opening day. The staff (many of whom were related) were quite friendly, and gave good service. There was a definite family vibe, which may seem a bit at odds with the name of the establishment and some of the neighboring businesses. There were four beers being offered on opening day. Of them, I thought the Odd Man Stout was the best of the bunch. It tasted full-bodied, rich, and complete to me. I thought some of the other offerings were not quite ready for prime time, but I sensed their potential. The patio was comfortable. Parking is ample. Once you know where this place is, it is easy to get here. You can even see the C-470 bike trail out the back door, which will undoubtedly make this place popular with the bicycling crowd. read more

Delicious brews! Just when I thought I had a grasp on the best breweries in my neighborhood, I realize I had been overlooking 3 Freaks. When we first came in, the owner personally walked out from behind the counter to greet us. He offered to get us a flight of tasters and even deliver them to our table! (Wow, service I don't usually expect from breweries- so kind and hospitable!) My favorite was a rotating beer- the La-La-Lavender Honey Saison; delicious sweet aftertaste. We will most definitely be coming back very soon!!! read more

Small and comfortable place in a strip shopping center. Friendly staff and a modest selection of great beers. Food isn't really an option except for pizza from outside provider; so hard to go above 4 stars read more

Great beer, great conversation in a friendly easy to park spot. Ty likes his customers and is waiting for ya with a smile!

Three Freaks is a nice little brewery conveniently near Chuck E Cheese. So after an exhausting but fun packed few hours with the kids it's the perfect place to have a little "adult fun", but with the kids. It is also nice because they have a small patio off the front and the parking is plentiful. A little confusing when first trying to find this place as it blends in with the surrounding strip mall shops. However the beers are great and the patrons and staff are very friendly. Also the dog Brewer is a very nice boxer puppy that hangs out here! read more

This local brewery is my favorite ever!! The tasting room is smaller than most breweries, but I prefer that and the owner and bartenders are super friendly giving it that "cheers" feeling. I love how they continually rotate their beer selections allowing me to sample the different flavors of craft beers. My personal favorite is the Cinner Amber made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The flavor is amazing and I think they put a secret ingredient in it to make me crave it I'm also a big fan of their Belgian Ale and Belgian Wit but I have had everything on the menu and I have yet to be dissatisfied. My kids also love going to the brewery, as they have a few games that they can play but we mostly just play jenga. That being said this is no daycare and most of the time it's all adults. I have also brought my dogs with me both in the tasting room and on the patio, the staff is very dog friendly. The owner has a boxer named Brewer and we love going in to see him and following him on Instagram He's such a character. If you are looking for a "Cheers" vibe with great tasting beer this is your place. No drama, just good people and a great atmosphere!! read more

How do I start. Seems it's a love it or hate it based on previous reviews. Well I love it! Great place for a sit and drink, whether it's inside or on the patio, I can be with man's best friend. Mine happens to be a yellow Lab. I've come here several times over the last year and a half and have always found something on the menu to enjoy. The Yoga Pants IPA is excellent! It's my go to, but I always try something new. Yes it's a small place and not a massive selection, but the staff is great. From the owner to the interns everyone is friendly and welcoming. I will continue to stop in and tell my friends too! read more

I feel special. I get to add this business to Yelp. I feel it is the Elite thing to do. Help a new business get noticed. It is also good... ...no great! That this place serves a Stout. Odd Man Stout. Wow! It is great...very great...strong with a hint of chocolate. A little patio with red chairs and a matching red wall inside add some color to the décor. I'll be back to experiment with some more beers... ...very soon I'm sure. read more

My wife and I stopped in this afternoon for a brew. Great place! Friendly atmosphere! The beer is great! read more

Small place passionate about beer, and not much else. They have 6 taps the day I came, but one was already kicked (kicked at 4:30pm?!). It's a fairly small place, and didn't offer any food if you're looking to eat and drink simultaneously. They are located in a strip mall though, and there was a chinese takeout next door if you get hungry (I think they let you bring it in?) Flights were a nice offering - allowing you to try 4 different beers. But I think flights make sense if there were a lot of different beers. I've been to breweries that just give you a sample upon request, so with a total of 6 taps, doesn't seem to make sense. Order a second flight and you'll already have repeats. Of the 6 beers, the yoga flight and odd man stout were quite good. But I don't know if I'd make a trip all the way out here just to try 6 beers. Worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Only 4 options when I went. Two IPAS a stout and a seltzer. Had a nice fire pit out front of the bar to sit with 4 friends.

If you are interested and wanting to try craft beer, talk to the brewer, understand the process and even get advice on best brews in the area this is the place. Very personable and as a beer enthusiast it was a great place to learn more. I mean if you go somewhere that tells you about there beers but give you recommendations of others you know you've got someone passionate about the hobby. Strongly recommend to anyone! Great service too. Hope your lucky to meet the dog too! read more

Great stop. Experimental beers. Crazy tries = fun. Great service. Fun environment. The beers are enjoyable.

Jeff has the greatest eyes and service! Will return for his service and great beverage. Will recommend this brewery

A fun micro brewery. Stayed at a hotel near here, walked in to have a nightcap. The bartender was very friendly. Had a great conversation on the story of the place, learned about their beers they made. You can see the brewery set up from the bar which is really cool. Can't wait to try their stovetop stuffing beer in the fall! read more

Love this environment- feels like home. The staff and customers are super friendly. I'm a level 3 cicerone and VERY picky about beer, and have had the best New England IPA and Belgain Dubbel I've ever had here. Their new addition "Brewer" is the cutest pup! I'm in love! read more

I really enjoy this place. You have to go in expecting some off the wall beers and cozy atmosphere. Each time I've gone, I ended up talking to someone at the bar, which I usually don't do. The owner and brewers are all friendly, especially if you take an interest in the brewing process and the effort they go to. They just started a wall on which people can write their ideas for what the brewery should do next. I think their best flagship is the better odds stout. read more

Meh... It's just ok. I try to give things two or even three chances until I decide. Especially when it comes to breweries. I just cant get on board with this one. The beer is just kind of mediocre in my opinion, but I liked that they had some interesting options. Nothing really stood out though. The atmosphere was really dead inside, no music, just a couple people in the background over-talking each other. The bartender was really nice and helpful, so it had that going for it. Maybe someday after they have been open for awhile we will check it out again, but then again we live pretty far and don't really feel the need to drive really far for drinks. read more

Wanted to hit up a couple local breweries for my birthday and the Yelp app said this one was fairly close by and I had never heard of them. The inside is really, really small. I honestly don't see how they ever do live music, but thankfully it was a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too bad. Service was excellent. One of the guys came over and helped us re-assemble one of the wooden puzzles they had sitting there and chatted with us a for bit. They've only got six beers on tap, but all are their brews. We got 10-ozs and tried all of them. All were very good. Definitely will be back. read more

I really feel indifferent about this place. Awkward is the first thing that comes to mind when I'm trying to describe it. ATMOSPHERE: It was totally dead inside. It almost felt like walking into a deserted and abandoned store. No music / or background noise. Frankly, it just felt eerie. BREWS = ODD. We decided to sample a flight, and found most of the beers to be bizarre. Nothing really stood out, and isn't the entire reason for going to a brewery to try awesome craft beers?! SERVICE: Definitely the highlight of the trip! The bartender was nice, and walked outside to check on us multiple times when we decided to sit on the patio. You can tell this place is really trying to stand out. They had a food truck parked outside, and 3 Freaks logos printed on various t-shirts, hats, and bumper car stickers for purchase. Nonetheless, I can safely say that I don't think I would ever return here. The the craft beers and ambiance just aren't anything to write home about. read more

Very poor craft beer. I sampled 2 beers and promptly left the establishment. If I liked my beer watered down and with minimal to no taste I would have bought a 6 pack of Budweiser. Unfortunately the beer tastes like they haven't graduated out of the home brewing stage. There Yelp just saved you time, money and most importantly less suffering for your tastebuds. You're welcome.... . read more

Wow, really surprised by the great reviews given to this place. It's good, but as two stars indicates, "I've experienced MUCH better. There were 5 beers on tap. 4 of them had the exact same aftertaste. The stout was the exception. The other 4 (hefe, amber, hoppy beer and ?) all had a metallic taste at the end. I home brew, and I will admit I am not an expert, but I know when I have made good beer and bad beer. My bad beer tasted just like these four, a metallic taste at the end. This happens for many reasons, but for me it was because I fermented my beer at too high of a temperature. Very nice guy behind the bar, I hope he can fix this read more
