So sorry to do this but this is not good! I hardly ever leave a place a bad review but this was very disappointing. I've been wanting to try their pizza based on the awesome reviews. Finally got three pizzas. One GF cheese and black olives, plain cheese, and a pepperoni with black olives. Ok these are frozen TV dinner pizzas at best! Thin crust is an understatement. Downhill brewing is by far my favorite brewery in Parker. The service is always amazing with some of the best beer-tenders in town. They are helpful, speedy, and take the time to talk with the customers who choose to sit at the rail. They have a good rotating variety of beers on tap as well. They do not only serve IPA's as is the case with some breweries. The menu is sure to please all beer drinkers tastes with sours, IPA's, dark beers, and lagers as well as other seasonal rotations. The pizza served at downhill is my favorite pizza in town too. It is thin, crispy, cheesy and delicious. There is plenty of seating and it has a standard open concept taproom feel which is great for both small and large groups. Our second time here, first inside, as we were on the patio with our pup on our first visit. I like the vibe of the place, and you quickly forget you're sitting in a strip center once inside. Decorations make it seem like a cozy neighborhood pub you've grown up with, even though they're not that old. Unsure of what to choose between so many beers, I was happy to learn that I could get a flight of six options. Ranked in order from best to worst... 1. Saturday Nut Fever PB Brown Ale 2. If Demons Could Weep Dark Saison Note, these were really the only two I cared for, and they even seemed a bit off to me. I liked 1, but not sure I could drink a whole pint of 2. 3. Ghost Town Brown 4. Kathy Ireland Dry Stout 5. Apres Amber My wife liked the Amber the best, but it wasn't her favorite, and she didn't have a second. The food is decent, the beer is good, but the service leaves A LOT to be desired. The servers seem to only talk and quickly serve the regulars. We ordered food and did not receive napkins or cutlery. The bartenders took multiple shots while attempting to serve the other people at the bar. Then, there was a child sitting at the bar. Seems to be unprofessional and not run correctly. Great atmosphere and even better pizza and beers. But I would say, the staff wasn't super friendly and it's weird they didn't have any booster seats or high chairs for kids. Friday night was watching the Avs game & Tyson fights. It really sucked bc at 850 we were ordering 6 pizzas and pretzels. The kitchen said no we closclosing early tonight.....Last call for food has always been at 9pm. So big sports night...Nuggets on, Avs, CSU college football & Tyson fights and they shut down food early....wow ok! The main reason we frequent this brewery is bc the have great beer tvs for sports and good pizza. Thought the beers were meh as all quite muted with exception of the ipa but wasn't very balanced in my opinion. Staff was friendly and there was a decent amount of seating along with tvs for whichever game(s) they may have on. The pizza was pretty good and the style I consider glorified totinos where it is the super thin crust that goes through a conveyor belt oven. They are just a tad over personal sized so recommend ordering one for 2 people then another if needed as they are cooked pretty quick. Table space also ran out quickly for us at a 4 top with 4 people having 2 pizzas, 1 pint, 1 taster flight, and the qr menu stand. The ui on the qr menu is a bit annoying as unable to zoom and isn't really a menu made for phone experience. read more

Great brewery and pizzeria! The atmosphere is so fun with ski decor throughout and the beer/pizza is even better. My husband and I recently moved to Parker and breweries are our gig! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping! We are from Illinois and finding great pizza has been quite challenging! We will look no more! Sorry Downhill your beers are mediocre at best. Tried 3 different IPAs and simply not up to par with whats available in Denver. They do have a pretty good pizza oven in the brewery and I tried the 3 cheese pizza. Great tasting pizza but I don't understand pizza cut up in squares. Loved the flavor but very soggy crust. Maybe worth a try if you are within walking distance. If not, drive to a better brewery. read more

Ok, the pizza side is awesome, super friendly and personable! Brew side; honestly after giving it multiple try's, they need training. The bartenders are NEVER personable, friendly or practical. The beer variety never seems to change and it doesn't seem that they are on top of seasonal options. They say dog friendly but it's an unwelcoming route to get to the patio & there is no table service. It claims to be a brewery but it is in no way a brewery atmosphere. It has so much potential and it disappoints every time. We only gave it a shot again because they were the only ones with the pint day glasses left. I kid you not, this beer is truly a treat in a glass. Rich, creamy yet not harsh on your pallet at all. Easy to drink on a hot summer day. Downhill Brewing Company was the first stop on Marissa C. and I's Parker Brewventure - and it sure set the bar high! Let's break it down: Star 1: The brews! We loved everything we had! Not only were they well crafted and balanced, but the names were creative AF! My favorites included: Melisandre (raspberry golden ale), Okily Dokily (dark sour), Wapiti Wheat (hefeweizen), and Fresh AF (cucumber sour). They were all fantastic! Even better since I opted for a flight they were served up on he cutest old school snowshoe. Star 2: The service! Our beertender was super friendly and attentive. She caught me snapping a pic of the taps and encouraged me to share it out and tag it up. She def built a great rapport with her patrons. Star 3: The eats! Yeah, you read that right - the serve a small selection of bites! We opted for the Tropic Thunder pizza (red sauce, mozzarella, pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalapenos) to quench our appetites. It sure hit the spot! Star 4: The space! Literally so many great mountain and skiing touches throughout! Love the skeletons on the lift and the antler chandeliers. The picnic tables throughout really help cement the outdoorsy vibe! With fellow beer-loving friends in the area I know I'll be making my way back to Downhill Brewing Company sooner than later! The dough has the perfect chew, it's not too thick, it's not to thin. And cutting the pies into squares makes it easy to offer a small tiny little edge piece to your friend...rather than having to give up a whole big slice if it were cut into traditional slices. Lots of TVs to catch your favorite games. They also make root beer & have a cooler of soda and other drink options. Personally I'm a huge fan of the Wapiti Wheat & Saturday Nut Fever (even though I'm not usually a dark beer kinda gal). Pizzas are delicious & made with a thin crust. Buddy and I came in for some beers and football. Staff was super great - quick, friendly service. Beer was absolutely fantastic. Tried a flight of sours, Saisons and kölsch's. All were super tasty. Being that my mother-in-law lives just a short mile from here, we decided to meet up for a bite and a brew this past Sunday afternoon. So glad we did! Here's why: BEERTENDERS: Staff is so nice and welcoming! We were greeted by the bartender who told us to pick a seat anywhere in the extensive seating area and approached us to take our order. Being that it was our first time here, he suggested a flight of beers - one of which he chose. Beer was delivered quick, we were often checked on and he made us feel right at home! BREWSKIS: Beer is deliciously crafted and tasty! We opted for a small flight featuring a fruit beer, saison, american amber, nitro coffee milk stout, peanut butter brown ale and a pale ale to round out our palettes! The beer names are beyond creative (Case of the Monday's anyone?) and were full of flavor. Although I'm not usually a stout fan, the coffee milk stout was light, full of flavor and perfect for the upcoming winter months! I opted for a pint of the IPA (which we didn't taste) but was somewhat disappointed in it's strength, as it lacked that punch at the end that stays on your tongue. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed the saison, as it was bubbly, light and crisp! BITES: Because the brewery doesn't obtain a food license, they do have rotating food trucks that park out front, giving a wide variety to each brewery goer. The day we ventured there was a truck featuring all kinds of homemade sandwiches which were outstanding! Mmmm!! BRICK & MORTAR: Location is a little off the beaten path, but easy to find via google maps and tucked into a small strip mall. Shops and a winery are next door, creating a fun little pocket within Parker. The space is HUGE and offers so much seating, outdoor decor (deer heads anyone?!), colorado maps adorn each table, showcasing various areas throughout this awesome state! Best part? You can see the brewers at work, with all the supplies easy to see! Parking is decent and the space oozes coolness! I definitely see us venturing here again, because why not?! COME HERE! read more

Looking for some awesome beers and a great place to hang out? Look no further as this place has at least 10-12 beers on tap at any given time. For those who don't drink alcohol or beer, or who are the designated driver they also have some good tasting homemade sodas like root beer and orange which is kind of like orange cream soda. This is also a good place to watch sports as they have four big screen TVs. Two TVs are at the bar and one on each corner. What else do you need at bar? How about free popcorn and WiFi??? I had been wanting to check out Elk Mountain Brewing ever since they first opened, but just never seemed to get around to it. Tonight, after having had some pizza, we decided to drop in for a beer. I enjoyed the Wild Wapiti Hefeweisen. I did pick up on the clove and banana notes that other people have mentioned. I usually like my wheat types of beer a bit lighter, but this was delicious. I also tried a sample of the Kolsch and the Brown, and they both were quite tasty. The bartender was friendly. They had football on the televisions. And, there was free pool as well. Very hard to complain. They only serve limited snacks (some bagged nuts, jerky, pickles, etc.). There is a also a free popcorn machine and water over in the corner. However, they are totally cool with you bringing your own food to consume while you enjoy their wonderful fermented beverages. While I was there, two groups had pizza delivered from Domino's, which is less than two blocks away. Parker is lucky to have a place like this. read more
