Nice chill ambiance and good selection of beers. Good place to stop after hiking near Palmer Lake.

Pikes continues to be our favorite brewery stop when we've been south of Castle Rock. We love that we can take our pup inside with us when we're there. Today, I tried the Slow Burn smoked amber lager that I tasted on our previous visit. It was delicious, and I'd definitely get it again. My wife still loves her Summit House stout but agreed mine was delicious as well.

I love the Colorado Springs location and I loved this location too! I came here for the first time last weekend and had a great experience. The staff was so nice and helpful- I was being indecisive and not only did they let me sample several beers, but the bar tender recommended a beer that I loved based on my personal preferences! I had the brown ale and it was amazing. Just like an amber with a smooth yet full bodied flavor. I also tried the hummus plate which was presented beautifully and very delicious. The hummus had something special about it. I think there were poppy seeds? It also had a hint of garlic and paired well with all of the veggies and pretzels. They have something for everyone here! The inside is small, but there is a huge outdoor area with tables, fire pit and outdoor games. I came on a perfect day to sit outside and drink delicious beer. What a great experience I had here! If you've never been to pikes peak brewery, you're missing out! It's a great place to eat, have a drink or enjoy one of the many events that they host.

Stopped by Pike's Peak while in Monument on a Monday. It was not busy and we easily found a place to sit, even though it was too cold to sit outside. The place is cozy and warm, with blankets and a fireplace, if you need them! We grabbed a flight and everything was good. I especially liked the Tejon. We also got some pretzels and beer cheese. The taste of the cheese was good, but I didn't love the chunks of onion in it. Overall, it was good and I'd go back!

Great place for a brew or two. Super reasonable and the atmosphere is great. The rooftop is great. Lots of good options in the building. Def worth checking out.

THE BEST VIEW and an amazing beer. Pikes Peak Brewing also has an impressive benefits for their Members and those mountain cabin vibes that not any other taproom can offer. Next time, stopping for the dinner from their smoker!

Hi! Is this location dog-friendly? Thanks!

Hello! Yes! We have a huge beer garden that pups love! In fact this Tuesday, July 20th, Camp Bow Wow will be here hosting a puppy pool party from 4-6pm. We'll also have a food truck called Tripps Treats which sells ice cream for dogs! They also… Read more

First, the ambiance & indoor/outdoor rustic, family friendly layout is fabulous! Picnic tables, outdoor music, lights, corn hole/games & all the fire pits... NAILED IT! Loved it! Great musician was playing when I was there! So much fun! Next, the Foodtruck idea is awesome. But... If you want more regular customers, I'd suggest a core truck (or a kitchen if you have the bandwidth) that serves basics as well as a guest truck with their "unique" cuisines that maybe some don't care for. And I'd definitely try them out first. The one I was there for, German food, was just sub par. Frozen Oreida fries? Yuck. And they ran out of the half of what they were serving. How? How do you go to an event without proper prep? A small menu with basic burgers, pizzas, or even just a prepackaged charcuterie option or whatnot would keep me coming back, and with friends! Lastly, the pour your own beer thing is fun. But there is clearly issues with the processing. When we were there we had a pretty big group and my hubby was buying drinks for 2-4+ people at a time and the guy had to keep overriding the card as it had a limit?! Weird and annoying. Also, I get it's a beer place (tap room) but you are going to lose a lot of ladies who don't drink beer unless you up your wine game. The "cans of wine" were a good effort, but tasted horrible. I had to throw mine out and drink beer, which I'm sure was the point, but would I go back knowing this now? NOPE! Just a suggestion, try adding a couple "taps" with some basic but decent tasting, RED, WHITE, PINK wine for the ladies. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir & a dry Rose would be the most widely accepted & drinkable. (Chards/Savs/Heavier reds are not as universally accepted as they get into specific palettes. Anyhow, and again, just a suggestion. Even box wines would be better than those cans! Overall I loved the whole idea of it! But it definitely needs a bit of tweaking on the food & wine side if you want more regulars, return customers, or for people to stay (and spend) a bit longer. But would definitely recommend as a fun place if you are only interested in drinking a few beers with friends before going out to eat.

This brewery is dog friendly and so both my husband and I came here with our little girl dog yesterday evening. We sat down right by the cough and took a look at the menu (via QR code, but there is also a menu on the wall). We ended up ordering the following at the bar: Watermelon Margarita, $8.25 (tax included)- Oh wow this is good. This margarita comes in a slush form and it was pretty tasty. I would definitely order this again. It was refreshing and just a fun drink. Weltschmertz (Vienna Lager), 8 oz, $4 (tax included)- My husband ordered this for himself. I thought this was find but I liked my margarita a whole lot more. My husband liked his beer. ----------------------------------- (Total= $12.25) We had tried a sample of Fearthainn | Scottish Wee Heavy, which I thought was okay and my husband also thought it was fine. We also tried a sample of Gose Gone Wild | Grapefruit Hibiscus Gose, which I absolutely did not like and my husband also was not a fan either. This drink is part of their seasonal/ experimental menu and am glad that I had requested for a sample of it because I just couldn't like it.... This beer was salty, but had a citrus flavor that I just didn't think went well. Service was friendly and we enjoyed making conversation with another local couple during our visit. They told us because they live really close by, they like to come to this brewery regularly and will on occasion bring their dog with them. Dogs are allowed inside and outside for those wondering. This brewery also has different food trucks that come every day. You are also welcomed to bring your own food. There is trivia night on Tuesdays and they also have a pretty good deal on Wednesday in which you get 20% off all drinks and can get a burger for $5. If I was a local, I would definitely make Lost Friend Brewing Company a regular visit for us and our little girl.

It's a bit off the beaten path just in terms of it being a little drive away from the freeway, but we had some time to kill so we decided to stop by here. So that's good to know if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.
