They have a wonderful taproom. You can sit at the bar, or at one of the many tables in the very spacious room. It was cold out and was warm and friendly inside. The staff were friendly and made an extra effort to treat us like long time regulars. We had several tasters and lively discussion on each of the regular and seasonal beer on tap. The place is clean and unlike other tap rooms I have been to, did not smell like old stale beer. read more

You may notice a theme with me... lot's of breweries/beer places. It turns out, Colorado is like in the top 5 states for craft breweries (last time I checked, we were actually #3). So many places to go, and it is hard to find one that really stands out. This is one of those places... good beer (and good selection) with some very tasty Firkin! A very cool place to grab a couple of drinks with some friends. I love when they have live music too! The Peach Pale Ale is my favorite, for sure. Its great that the food trucks are there, and that they allow you to bring in any outside food. Last weekend, in the horrific snow storm, we decided we wanted a beer and swung by to see if they were open. Lo and behold, someone was there! The four of us stayed for about an hour and a half, repeatedly thanking the gentleman working for staying open. It's service like that that really makes a difference to me! read more

Lone Tree Brewing is brand new, since early December. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family and play board games. Their beer is good, but has room for improvement, I enjoyed their Black IPA the most, and I was glad to see they have a couple of stouts on tap. They do not serve food, but you can bring your own, and have yourself a little indoor picnic. I look forward to seeing this place grow and improve. read more

Lone Tree Brewing resides in what feels like an office park, but continues the trend of breweries popping up in whatever space they can. (And more power to them!) The inside is big and bright, has a few tvs, a bar that seats probably 12-18 people, and scattered tables throughout. With several beers on tap, LTB has ample space for a party of one to a big group. They've also got tasty beers to match. On this particular occasion I started with the Hop Tree IPA which was delicious. Really strong hop flavor, without a huge hop nose. Very tasty, good malt balance early and it finished crisp and clean. The hop left flavor in your mouth without feeling like there was hop resin and oil everywhere. Really well done beverage. The second beer I had was their pumpkin seasonal, which I really didn't care for. I like a lot of pumpkin beers, and make one every couple of years, but the LTB Pumpkin was overly clove-y. Not the kind of clove you might get in belgian and german yeast strains, but straight up clove like it's from a spice jar. The mouthfeel I normally get from pumpkins (generally from the oils in the pumpkins themselves) wasn't present at all, and spiciness of it really overpowered everything. Kudos for trying, but it's not a beer I'll be having again. On the day I was in, it was unfortunately terribly busy (well, fortunate for the LTB -- glad to see they have lots of fans and patrons!) but it means service was a little short with me. When I asked if they did samplers, one of the people working the bar said they didn't when it was busy. I was really surprised by that, and chose a pint of the Hop Tree. A patron sitting next to me asked me what she had told me about the samplers, and said it was ridiculous -- which seemed to be true as there were several people around us with samplers, and it had apparently been busy all day. He seemed to think her line was crap, and so did I. But all in all I enjoyed my experience, and understand how service isn't always 100% when things are super busy. I won't hold it against them. It's a good place, and a place I'll definitely visit again, just not the most amazing brewery I've ever been to. read more

After having dinner around the Lone Tree are we decided to check out Lone Tree Brewing. We've heard good things about the brewery so we were excited to give it a try. Upon walking into the brewery, there was a food truck there making pizzas. They often have food trucks there so it makes it easy for people to enjoy beer and have something to eat. The brewery itself is pretty big so it's not hard to find a table to sit. They had a variety of beers to try so we decided on the Peachtree Pale, Acres O' Green Irish Red and the Mountain Mama Helles. All were pretty good. My favorite was the Red which had great depth and flavor. A plus about this place is they offer free popcorn. Will definitely come back to try a food truck and have another beer. read more

Great set up and I really like the location. I like that you are drinking inside a brewery and not a room inside a brewery. Staff was awesome! The Beer. First, I am not a fan of super hoppy beers and majority of the beers they had available were IPA's and triple hopped pale ales etc. The blonde and Helles were out and I had a Hefeweizen which was pretty good and ended with a couple Stout's. The Stout was amazing ans I was told that they are currently brewing an amber which I look forward to. All in all this is a cool place to grab a few beers with friends or the whole family. read more

Loved lone tree. Why: not only was the beer great but the brewer Josh was awesome he was so personable and wanted to join in on the fun. We also learned that josh was coming to San Diego in July. As a proud san diegan beer taster i had quite the list up my sleeve and was sure to share it with him so he too can have a fantastic time when he comes to my home town. Ok so the beer, barrel aged chocolate cherry stout was perfect for the romance season. strong enough for a man but made for a woman or vice versa. My favorite though was the double IPA. This hop head was HAPPy. Yummy! Coming in as an 8% with the ibus at 80 this had enough of the hop bitter and aroma to want two. 11 hop additions make this a flavor of bitters to linger for a while. read more

Great Micro Brewery. I just love this place. Their beer is fantastic, the tasting room is spacious with many TV's, free popcorn, and wifi. Just a great place to hang and taste some different beers. The thing I like the most is their seasonals. They always have something new to try and have not yet found one I dislike. They have a great patio for summer and the nice days we get even through the winter. The food trucks are very good also or bring your own food from your favorite place. All in all, this is one of my all time favorite spots. read more

I've been coming here for years, mostly on Friday afternoons. Really enjoy the atmosphere on the patio with one very notable exception. Jessie's Smokin Nola food truck shows up on Friday and they always seem to play music too loudly over the speakers. I wouldn't mind it so much if they could just turn it down a couple of notches. It makes it hard to continue with conversation at the table. I asked our waiter about it and he just walked away without saying a word. My friend and I each had a flight here and we tried 5 beers in total. We aren't beer experts by any means, but we do enjoy visiting local breweries regularly. The flight I got had 4 beers that all sounded delicious and just the type of beer I like to drink. Unfortunately, they all were incredibly disappointing and had little to no flavor at all. The cucumber wheat didn't have any cucumber flavor, the cafe mocha stout tasted like coffee but severely watered down, and the peach pale ale tasted nothing like peach. We couldn't even finish our flights and left to go to a different nearby brewery. The second star is for the customer service which was pretty good, unfortunately no service on the patio. read more

Husband and I are huge microbrewery fans. Love this type of setting....it is all about the beer! Bartender was great and showed us a list of every microbrewery in Colorado when we told him we were trying to visit every micro in CO. Now to the beer. I had the Pale Ale first and thought it was very good, but the star here for me was the Hoppy Holiday Brown. Don't be scared off by name, it was not that hoppy, but it was a great brown, very smooth. Husband had the Black IPA and the oatmeal stout and liked both. He was bummed that the IPA was not available, as he is a total hop head! Love places that will give a little taste before you buy. They also have flights here if you want to try everything. We will definitely be back. This review would have been a 5 if the IPA had been there...I guess that is a good reason to head back! read more

Was fairly slow and half-empty when we got there, but on that note, service was great! The taster room was very roomy, had a few TVs with sports on which was nice, great view of the vats. Sat at the bar among a couple apparent regulars, ordered a flight of all their tasters. All were good, nothing jumped out at me except the IPA, very good, and their small batch - a smoke-flavored beer (really did taste like I was chasing my beer by licking a smoke chip). The small batch wasn't something I would feel comfortable downing a whole pint of, but I'd definitely go back for a bigger IPA. There's a cart out in the parking lot that sells tacos (didn't try it, but if you want food, that's what they got). My IPA was great, on the other end of the spectrum the blonde had a here' feel and lots of personality that's usually lacking in a blonde. The crowd was good, bartenders super knowledge about the beers, system, etc. they had a football game on a everything was clean crisp but the focus is definitely the beer. Hit this place up just after getting off a flight into Denver and it was the perfect starting point! Its a smaller brewery tucked into a strip mall but what it lacks in exterior "wow", it more than makes up for in service, beer quality and intererior seating options. We all got flights and loved everything we tried - though we opted to sit at the bar there was TONS of seating available inside and out, and they even had an indoor bocce court! The place is dog friendly on the patio (I would confirm its cool inside) and when the weather is good, they have the garage door up so there is plenty of air circulation. They don't have food on site, but had a food truck there when we went and everything was delicious. Definitely stop by and check these folks out! read more

Really great beers here! On my last visit, I had the Chocolate Horchata Stout, which was absolutely delicious, and the Stairway to Heaven Triple IPA. I'm a pretty big IPA fan, and this beer was awesome. One of the best IPAs of any of the local breweries I've been in. They had a small two person band (don't remember their name), a guy on acoustic guitar, and a female singer who had a really great voice. I would have given 5 stars, except for one problem. The staff. We sat at the bar and our bar tender was about the most unfriendly bar tender I've dealt with. When I sit at a bar, I want a bartender who's happy to be there. I'll definitely come back, I just won't sit at the bar...... read more

Maybe I'm a beer snob but Lone Tree Brewing just doesn't have that je ne sais quoi... I'm just not impressed. Their brews don't do it for me... They are just ok. The competition in Colorado is stiff for microbreweries. We have so many good ones, like Oskar Blues, Upslope, New Belgium and, closer to the area, Elk Mountain and Dry Dock. Prices for pints and tasters are high compared to other tasting rooms. The only thing they have going for them is location. There aren't any competitors close by. read more

We love Lone Tree Brewery. We were in on a saturday afternoon during an event, which was for a great cause. They had raffles going for Lone Tree gear and didn't bombard you every five minutes with announcements which was great. The service was great, which is usually not the case at places like this. They were constantly picking up glasses and walking around asking if you need anything. They have a good selection of beer for everyone, lighter options to IPAs and everything in between. They have seasonal options and are constantly rotating so you never get bored. It is brewed there so it is always fresh! read more

My wife and I were frequent customers there until I came there for my birthday in May... while we were outside with the other dog/family people a very rude group of (trashy) people came in and took over all the outside seating. They took all the chairs at our table, then proceeded to drag a table across my foot and 2 of their party sat down at my table inches from my wife and stared at us, clearly wanting us to leave. When I asked them to be more considerate, They then started calling me names until my wife and I got up and left- basically the last of the remaining outdoor patrons to do so. We asked the staff to intervene but they refused, as a larger party spends more $$$. Sure, there was a lot of apology, but no action. Basically in a family friendly place, either the staff stands up for the patrons, or the patrons stand up for themselves. In which case it becomes a biker bar. Which is what this place is, now, in my view. Don't go there unless you are ready to deal with violence and rudeness. If you want to be physically threatened and personally insulted for your outdoor table, go here. A great place for testosterone muscle bound a holes. Not a good place for family and dog people. read more
