So this gem is hidden or should I say tucked away in a corner of the food court. Visibility of the restaurant is best upon entering from the open food court. I had the pleasure of eating here on a cold and rainy day. It was perfect as it was enclosed vs the other restaurants seating is on the own with minimal shade/covering. I tried the fish and chips. WOW, the special sauce that was smokey and almost like A chipotle is a house classic sauce. I did take the ginger soda, which was not your typical soda. It was an array of fountain drinks. I ordered the fish and chips and gave the onion rings a try, since the pictures on Yelp looked good. The fish and chips were okay. I think the portion of the fish is smaller than the first time I visited. What I am most disappointed with were the onion rings. My onion rings were overcooked. It was like eating onion crackers. There was a couple sitting across from me who had onion rings from London Chippy and the lady's onion rings looked perfectly golden brown. My guess is that I didn't receive fresh onion rings. Food was fresh and delicious! The service was great even though there was a grumpy impatient man huffing and puffing about the 20 min wait in the middle of lunch rush hour. I really want this place to stick around because it's unique. I dot think there's another chippy anywhere close by. Dana Point has a mediocre harbor side restaurant that serves fish and chips but it's equally bland. The problem with the food is the lack of seasoning. I've never been to the UK so I don't know if it's how it's meant to be. However I did try Gordon Ramsay's Fish N Chips in Vegas and you can tell that there's a definite lack of seasoning on this one. The chips were though so steak fries. Every was perfectly prepared. Using balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and tartar sauce added to the enjoyment.
