We thought that the food was a 4/5. I liked that the batter was nice and light, not too thick at all. The shrimp were plump and the fish was thick. It was one of the best fish n chips I've had. In terms of flavor, the dish was great. The homemade tartar sauce + lemon + fish & chips is a deadly combo. They seem to offer a focused selection of poboys, appetizers, fried protein or choice with chips, and more. I went for their Fish n Chips ($14) and added an additional piece of cod for a few more bucks. The price is really fair for the amount of food and quality you get. A couple of slices of lemon, tartar sauce, and malt vinegar also accompany the meal. The fish was flaky and soft, while maintaining its juiciness. I did feel the fish or fried batter could use a touch more seasoning to up the flavor a bit more. I did appreciate the delicate lightness of the fried batter. The thick, steak style fries, just like the fish, came out fresh and piping hot. A sprinkling of salt and black pepper covers the crunchy exterior of the fries. Simple but very delicious. There is plenty of parking and seating since it is located in a food hall in a busy strip mall. The owners/ service were quick and super friendly! I happened to stop by the food hall at Trade and noticed a new business! Parking is always crazy at Trade, so good luck. This business is replacing the Two Birds space. Like all the other businesses in the food hall, you order at the register and then go find seating in the shared common area, unless you're getting your food to go. Friendly service and my order was ready in 5-10 minutes. I got a fish po boy combo, which comes with fries and a drink. It was around $17 when I went. Sandwich was huge and delicious with lots of different flavors! Large fish filets, which was appreciated, but it's also kinda messy, as the fish is flaky and tends to break apart as you bite into the sandwich, so heads up. The owner suggested to put it in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes at home to refresh the crispness of the filet, which I did. My husband loved it!
