They gave me a beeper, and I was able to find a nearby table without any trouble. I ordered the Fish N Chips, which was a generous portion. It came with two large pieces of fish that were nicely fried. The batter wasn't too thick, and the fish itself was tender rather than overly flaky or hard. The texture and overall quality were good, but it was a bit lacking in flavor, even with malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The steak fries were crispy and not overly salty, which I enjoyed. London Chippy has the best fish and chips in OC that I've tried! For $16, you get two big pieces of cod on top of thick cut fries and tartar sauce. Malt vinegar is also available. I like that the fish is lightly battered so it's not as greasy. The fries were good too, if not a little on the salty side. It is a little Kiosk located in a small mall on Michelson Drive near the airport. I ordered two fish and chips. They came to me piping hot and delicious. The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I could not taste any grease. The fish was exceptionally good. They give you fresh lemons, vinegar, and tarter sauce. The portions were large. Only one thing to note, you have to eat your fish and chips within the next twenty minutes or everything gets soggy. I came at night, the doors were open and there were no tables to sit at. The eating environment is not very comfortable. The drink machine was broken. Yes they still give large flaky pieces of cod, but the batter wasn't crispy and the fries weren't as good as before either.
