We had an issue with rats due to recent construction in our neighborhood. They sent out a representative. I showed him areas of concern. He was very thorough and we discussed a plan. Due to miscommunication I was under the impression the entire exposed perimeter of our home would be rat proof when in reality 3/4 was completed and some of that wasn't up to our satisfaction. We took pictures and sent them to the representative, who advised us that I misunderstood about the entire perimeter, but agreed the areas of concern were not done correctly. Three techs later and it still wasn't done correctly. A manager came out and made empty promises to fix things and to discount work. Apparently he meant a discount for additional work at a cost to us. We asked several times for an itemized bill to explain the charges, and all we received was the original statement I hope Management takes this feedback seriously to improve communication and accountability skills.

We knew we needed to check on this before the flooring install continued. I called one company that was booked up for almost 2 weeks. We asked them if they could at least look at a picture via email as we needed help fast. They said maybe but never responded after I sent the picture. I called Smart Pest Pros. The lady who answered understood that I needed help now... not later. She arranged for Josh to come out the next morning. He did a thorough inspection. He explained that it was termite damage (maybe old) and gave me several options to deal with it. But also gave us the go ahead to finish the floor. Josh and his office manager saved me a big headache and expense. Thank you from Vallejo!!

They took the time to look at every part of our house to identify any potential entry points for pests. A day or two later, they had a technician come by our house for the work (screening, mortar patching, and setting traps). The work was highly effective and solved our rodent problem. Three or four month laters, however, we had a different problem, so I called up Tyler, and he said his partner Ryan could come that same day for a reinspection. Ryan showed up and we walked through the house again in detail and discussed next steps. But rather than book a follow-up appointment, Ryan was kind enough to take an hour or so of his time and just perform the work himself, and all at no charge!
