Mocktails for two
Zuobin T.

When I found out that Lolita's Pizza was one of the top 100 pizzerias according to Yelp, it was an easy choice to bring ourselves here for dinner. We started with the Apple and Pancetta Arancini, it was a solid option to start our meal. For our mains, we ordered to the Cajun Crab Bucatini given its uniqueness and the Meatball Parm and the Sweet and Spicy Ricotta pizzas. The bucatini had a great balance of the creaminess and Cajun spices, topped with lumps of crab meat that tasted quite fresh. It's definitely a dish I'd recommend. Both pizzas had airy crusts that also had a nice chew to each bite; both options were delicious. We also had some mocktails that were reasonably priced and tasty. The place was on the cozy side, with friendly and prompt service overall, definitely family friendly. If you don't see parking in front, there's plenty of parking on the residential streets near the restaurant.

This is solely based on my pickup experience, I have not yet dined in here (although I will!). I ordered a simple New Yorker pizza. It was ready a few minutes early when I came to pick it up, and by the time I got home, it was still fresh and delicious. The cheese was very flavorful, crust was on point with just a bit of char like you'd expect from a wood-fired pizza. All in all, I'm quite happy with my experience. While waiting for the staff to bring out the pizza, I did have a chance to check out the interior a bit. It's a quaint place, but I ran into several servers while there. The bar is fully stocked and it seems like a great place to have dinner.

Found this place after our bike ride on the walkway over the Hudson. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Tori was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with wings with the wings with the Alabama white sauce on the side. They were very good. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and I had the mushroom pizza. Both were very good. We would definitely come back when in the area.

Such a quaint little pizza bistro . Gives a NYC vibe. Small but use there space perfectly Started with their kale caesar salad. Loved it was nice and chopped and dressed just the right amount Ordered a bunch of pizzas. White , sausage and peppers, sopprasatta and cheese . Omg so light and airy and great sauce. We also had arracinhi balls. Super crispy and so cheesy inside. Also ordered a pasta dish. Spicy marinara with bread crumbs on top super fresh homemade. We finished our dinner by a suggestion from our wonderful waitress and ordered a peanut butter and jelly cookie crumb with grape gelato. Really fresh and brings u back in the day . Parking in front easy Prices are good. Great workers that give you a warm greeting. If in the area it's worth coming.

Another visit, and another exceptional experience. Nothing has changed, the pizzas are still as good, the staff is still as friendly, and they have added a covered outdoor seating area with heaters, which is really nice. The wings with the Alabama white sauce were incredible.

Yummy wings Alabama bbq wings, also got a NY pie it was delish

Awesome spot and food and drink. I always eat before I remember to take a pic. I got pizza as well but it was in my belly at this point

Soppresata. I'm gonna dream about this one. Super yummy if you're a meat eater!

Stumbled upon this place when looking for a pre-Bardavon event meal, and boy were we lucky! Located next-door to Lola, if you blink you will miss Lolita's and then you will be very sad -- because this has got to have been the best thin crust pizza I've had in a very long time. For appetizers, we had the kale caesar salad and Brussels sprouts. I'm not a huge raw kale person, but whether they massaged it for hours or threatened it within an inch of its life, this kale was TENDER. I am a huge Brussels sprouts person, and I loved how these were cooked and all the flavors they added. We were a group of four, so these two together served as great appetizers. We then got and shared 3 pizzas. They are personal pizzas, but unless you're super hungry you can certainly share. I don't know whether my favorite was the margherita or the soppresata, so I'll just say "Yes." The soppresata had a unique flavor, delightfully sweet with a kick that pops up a few seconds after, kind of like those Sour Patch kids commercials. The other pizza was mushroom, which my group loved (I'm not a mushroom person but I believe them!). They have a super creative cocktail menu and more expansive bar than you'd expect from a place that is relatively small. Their on-tap beer is also excellent. If you're unsure about what to eat or drink, be sure to ask the folks who work there -- they are super helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn't have been nicer! Again, it's small and they don't take reservations -- so I'd suggest you try to get there at an off hour if you don't want to wait. People's wait times seemed to be relatively short, but we were lucky to get seated as a group of four right away; it filled up right after. Can't wait to go back!

We stopped here on the way to the airport and were immediately amazed with the customer service. John and Brady were phenomenal. We ordered the small Italian club with Chicken cutlet and the Vittorio. We also got a large Muffaletta with the olive salad on the side, pesto chips, mixed pickled veggies salad and a cannoli. We wanted to change since we were going to the airport so we had to use the restroom. That's where we encountered John. He is such a lovely man. He was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. My sister was throughly impressed with Brady's customer service. He made her feel at home and was very friendly. All of our food was good. They devoured the veggie salad on the car ride to the airport and we ate some of the sandwiches too. The portions are big and you can share. The 3 sandwiches we got were plenty for our family of 6 plus leftovers. Rossi Rosticceria Deli 45 S Clover St Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (Review 50 in 2025 and 893 overall)

It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

PARKING: Enough parking for the time of day I was there…read morewhich was after normal lunch and before the supper crowd. This is the first time I've been in this deli so I didn't know what to expect. The staff is very friendly. IMPORTED STAPLES: The shelves are a bit bare, but they did have some Large canned peppers ($6.99), and tomato products from Italy, fresh Italian bread, and a well stocked freezer. SPECIALS: The special sandwich of the day was fried fish on a round roll. (It's Friday and Lenten season so I opted to keep my mama happy.) GOOD CHOICE: While they were preparing that I shopped a bit for some Italian provisions. Olive oil from Sicily and another cold pressed single origin. MY PURCHASES: two nice olive oils from Italy, a commercial sized can of fire roasted peppers for my pan pantry, two packs of REAL philo dough ( $3.99! Yay), mozzarella, 1/2 lb of sliced roast beef, and a beautiful sandwich. What they lack in ambience they made up for in flavors. The bill of about $68, the smiles were gratis. BTW The fried scrod sandwich was about $11 and well worth it. My pet peeve is when sandwiches have shredded lettuce and instead of a whole lettuce leaf. My fault I'm sure they would've given me the whole Leaf if I had asked. As you'll see in the photograph, the fish fillet was generously portioned, dusted with Italian breadcrumbs and deep fried - not greasy at all. It was very light and flavorful, the round roll was fresh and the perfect vessel for this sandwich. I would definitely consider returning there again if I'm in the neighborhood .

It slightly pains me to write this review, as my first experience at Cosimo's was soooooo good…read more Let's get on with it tho. We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.

Presumably this is because of the proximity to City Of Poughkeepsie, but I see no reason for it. This location has a bit of a confusing situation because you really need to remember which entrance you use so you can get back to your vehicle without having to circle the entire building with an overflowing cart of groceries. They are pros and cons to shopping here. Staff is extremely friendly to the point where you feel like you're at a neighborhood small grocery. But this place is massive with an abundance of imports and unique offerings from around the region. I belong to a farm cooperative, so I don't usually need vegetables. However, in this case, I did shop produce to locate some organic options to serve with the scallops and shrimp. The presentation is wonderful, but the prices are outrageous. Year over year, the same items that I purchased at Adam have increased by at least 30%. Some of that is due to the current geopolitics, but some of it is just plain exorbitant pricing. My purchase: A stop at Seafood to make sure they had 2 pounds of sea scallops approximately $24 per pound- wild caught. And the colossal shrimp more than $20 per pound also wild caught. Next stop a birthday cake - everything looks wonderful and I'm sure that there are items that are not mass produced with lots of fillers, but idea say that they probably use the same cake mixes as the less pricey supermarkets. Regardless, I had no time to bake so I picked up a 6 inch carrot cake - $26. And a fresh fruit tart 9 inch $29. Ouch, one note about the fruit tart is that the strawberries were not hold which makes for very.com cumbersome dining. You serve a lovely piece of fruit tart, and your guest has to dissect the strawberry to take the leaves off. It doesn't look that great and it is not appetizing. A quick stop to pick up organic broccoli. What the heck! Roughly $12 for two bunches of broccoli. I must be out of my mind. It was a birthday and I don't have any broccoli at home so I bit the bullet Over to the cheese counter where you can find exceptional values, and Exceptional imports My pic today was Bulgarian feta cheese, which is not easy to find, a beautiful French Camembert, and a block of Gouda. A loaf of bread, and a quick run to the clearance section at the back of the store where I scored pretty well with about 2 pounds of beautiful grapes for two dollars and a dragon fruit for under two dollars. A 12 pack of Parker General rolls $2.50 a quick run past the pasta department for the Italian produced linguine and onto the cash register. My cart was full and I knew my wallet would be empty soon so I headed home. Shopping at Adams is an experience rather than a chore. Please don't go on an empty stomach because you will soon regret it. You're not gonna find samples here for tasting, but you can ask at the cheese counter if you're not sure about a potential purchase and they will oblige. I do .
