I'm done giving these people my business. I've been coming here since they opened, & it's completely gone down hill since. I live close by and have continued to order here due to the convenience. I always order the same thing, a vegan burrito. One day, I got my burrito which was missing tons of ingredients. I was mad but didn't want to go all the way back over there so I kept eating. 2 bites later, I bit into a rock! YES, a rock. Something you could break your tooth and sue for a lot of money for. I called to let them know and the manager/owner was not in at the time so they took down my info for him to get in touch. The girls I spoke with told me they would refund me and remake it, which is honestly the least they could do but I figured once I spoke with the manager he would be apologetic and do more to ensure keeping me as a customer. He never called. I am out of town often and the next time I was back, I came by to talk with him in person and bring the rock to show him. Not very apologetic, he told me he would remake it and gave me a cookie. He told me sometimes their quinoa has rocks in it. Odd because the quinoa I buy at home never has rocks in it! No refund was provided. Because it's the only place convenient and close by I came back after that and ordered the same thing. Missing tons of ingredients yet again. This burrito used to be big and filling which is why I enjoyed it to start. The burrito is so bland though, and although it advertises aoli being in it, they must put a tiny little dab of it cause it I always have to order it on the side which they charge extra for. Since I've gone back, the burrito has gotten significantly smaller (literally half the size) and now, they've raised the price! Last time after the replacement for the rock incident when I came back again, they had to remake it for me because it was missing a ton of ingredients, and the manager wouldn't even look at me... like I was the bad guy for asking them to make it with all of the ingredients advertised included. Now I'm back after a few months of traveling and ordered again, yet again it was small and pathetic, not filling at all, and now it's gone up in price a few more dollars. I understand inflation is driving up prices, I would have no problem if the quality was maintained. I always see the owner/manager here, of course he has to know who I am but he acts like it's the first time he's seen me every time . Honestly, Ive tried to be understanding but quality, customer service and treating repeat customers with appreciation is so important. The employees are sweet but the manager... I'm so offended that I finally decided to write a review which I never do. Since I was so understanding and nice about the rock incident and not making a big fuss, I would think he would be a lot different. But since he's really not, and the burrito sucks now... this is why I'm officially done giving them my business! read more

First time to Lola's yesterday. I met a friend there for coffee and was so impressed with the food and service! They practice personal distancing and the place was immaculate. We wound up getting more than just coffee... the food was delicious and the service was friendly. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the outdoors. Please patronize Lola's as they're a small business and trying to stay afloat through the COVID-19 pandemic.... you'll feel better about helping the economy than if you go to a big chain like Starbucks. (Please note that my friend and I were careful about staying 6 feet apart and all of that which we're supposed to do these days. Please no shaming!) read more

Lola's was a great find by my wife. We just missed the breakfast menu, but they still cooked the egg and turkey bacon sandwich for our daughter. The food was excellent, service was good and the owner came and introduced himself and checked on our food. There aren't a lot of tables so be prepared for a wait (but it's worth it). read more

I've never chewed on so many eggshells in my life. Loved all of the ingredients in the breakfast burrito except the eggshells. Had to spit half of it out as there were so many. The tiniest bite sized side of pico was laughable. Super disappointed ={ Also, I'm pretty sure I was given a 4oz cappuccino after ordering an 8oz. So many things went wrong with this order that I'm sad to say I will not be back. read more

My friend and I meet up here about once a month. We consider it "our spot" now. They have delicious drinks and an impressive menu. This past weekend, I got the egg and avocado smash sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. Their portions aren't huge. Honestly, I could have eaten 2 of the sandwiches. But it's not meant to be a full-service restaurant; just a cafe. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is great. Love it. read more

A nice cafe in Ladera Ranch with a beautiful decor and organic set up. Breakfast Burrito was one of the best I have ever had & the Avocado toast is just incredible. It's located right across our project, the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, under construction. Now I know where to set up my meetings :-) The staff are super friendly & prices are very reasonable. read more

I'm so happy that Ladera Ranch has a place like Lola's cafe, where friends and family can catch up while enjoying delicious, made to order food. The owner is super friendly and the customer service is top notch. An added bonus is they have yummy coffee, tea and espresso beverages. Their lattes are hand crafted and made by skillful baristas. This place did not disappoint. I'm a customer for life! read more

We live within walking distance of this little cafe (ok... a far walk), and had never tried it out despite rave reviews from a neighbor. Today we finally made the trek!! Happy to say the amazing reviews are very well earned! The decor is shabby chic country kitchen with fresh flowers at every table in varied adorable vases. Delicious looking (I somehow managed to only look) pastries and artisanal salts and things for sale. Menu has so many locally sourced, high quality delicious sounding options, it was hard to choose just one. I settled on the Louis grilled cheese (with jam and pears) and my husband had the turkey club. Both were divine --- we LOVED the bread. The owner delivers food and buses the tables himself! He's very personable and fun, and even noticed my purse on the floor and brought over a purse hanger for the table... and they were BUSY. He noticed and did this with a full restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try some items on the breakfast menu! read more

One of my favorite local places to eat! Amazing food and the owner is such a gem! Definitely get the pickles if you go. Perfect for breakfast brunch and lunch! read more

Such a cute cafe with great food and the coffee is some of the best I have had. You should definitely check it out if you are in the area.

Today is my first time trying this cafe but I probably won't be back. I ordered the Raw Wrap, but the problem is that the green wrap that they used is dry and feels like tough leather. I've gotten food from Mother's Market in these same wraps but they're never tough or crisp. Also, the wrap itself tastes like seaweed. The menu states that the sandwich comes in a wrap but doesn't specify what flavor. That would be a good revision for the next menu printing. The veggies inside the wrap are good, thankfully. read more

Best place for breakfast/ lunch! Found it randomly and absolutely loved it! I love that they use mascarpone cheese on several dishes, its not too common here and thats a shame cause omg!! My friend and I came for breakfast on Sunday morning. The parking situation is.. interesting. There are spots right outside of the cafe and some street parking but if you continue past it and turn right there are parking lots with plenty of spaces surrounding the building. The breakfast options looked to good and I ended up getting an egg and avocado sandwich with a lavender Arnold Palmer. It didn't take very long for the food to arrive and was presented on wooden blocks. The sandwich was delicious! The seating was communal so instead of a lot of 2 person tables there were 6 or so 6 person tables. We went around 9 am and it wasn't too busy but got busier as it got closer to 10 am. Can't wait to come back! read more

Ordered the egg and bacon sandwich for lunch on Sunday and it was excellent. Definitely tasted homemade and fresh. Good restaurant!

Nothing but amazing food, great friendly service and pouch friendly patio. The only negative is the price is a little high, and service is a little slow, however I must point out that the food quality is very good. I will continue to eat at Lola's and support my local business read more

This is a hidden gem in Ladera! It is not your traditional cafe with a long menu, but their one page menu has plates that are deliciously made. I like how they have healthy options balanced with baked goods if you want to sweeten it up too. I was a little disappointed with their French toast soufflé (beautiful display/tasted bland), but the homemade pop tart and burrito doesn't disappoint. The lines get extremely long sometimes out the door, and the prices are higher than your average cafe. I prefer to pass on paying $6 for a latte. However, when I get tired of going to Corky's for breakfast, I like to come here once in a while. read more

i come to this cafe all the time to study. it has a great environment that is perfect for a study session with friends. the food is great (sometimes it can use a little more salt though), but overall great foods and vibes! coffee is pretty good too - wide selection of drinks to choose from. it is a LITTTTLLEEEE pricey but what can you expect from ladera? i wish they would open for longer so i can study there during the school day. also, my first meal when i moved here was at lola's so it has sentimental value. YAY! read more

Very good. Went for lunch - some items on breakfast menu are available all day and I did choose avocado toast which is an all day item. It was delicious. The two ladies I dined with also enjoyed their meal. I will definitely be back. It's a cute ambiance too. All staff were pleasant. One person I was dining with has several allergies and called the day before to ask several questions. She was impressed with who she spoke with and the information he provided, as well as, suggestions on menu items. I also had the tumeric hot tea - excellent! Comes in a small glass teapot with a tea cup. The presentation was nice, as well as, delicious! read more

I love Lola's!!!! It's inviting and unique. Super friendly staff and AWESOME coffee!! The honey vanilla latte is wonderful both hot and iced. The chai tea latte is one of the best in the area. Drinks are a little pricey, but I believe it's because the syrups are made in house so it's totally worth it! I love coming here to study and do homework, lots of seating and for some reason more it's more easy for me to focus here than most other places. I've been to Lola's twice recently. If you live in Ladera Ranch then you know the food choices are limited. Lunch was busy and expensive. The tomato soup and egg salad sandwich (basic and too much bread) were ok, the soup was best. The seating inside and on the patio isn't all that comfortable, but the patio offers nice ambiance during mild climates. The service is somewhat unimpressive, not in a rush to greet guests or tell them what line to be in to order. I was avoided for 5 minutes and just stood at the counter. Two people, 2 lunches and teas is $50- out the door. I would only return for convenience if another wanted to meet there. read more

I've been to Lolas quite a few times since they opened. I love the food, but there are several things they could improve on. -The food always takes a really long time to come out, which several other reviewers have said. - There is usually only one person working the register even if the line is really long. Waiting in line 15/20 minutes to order at times is very frustrating. Hire more staff! - They took their latte price up, the chalk board says the incorrect price. It's now $5.50 plus tax so $6 for a latte and if you need a different kind of milk like soy or almond it's another $.75. Seems ridiculously high. Cute local spot with yummy food, but they really could improve on a few areas. read more

Easy parking. Nicely decorated. Great service and fabulous food. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to your table on a wooden cutting board. I had avocado toast on a baguette with a poached egg and side of bacon. It was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Coffee was delicious but no refills. Will definitely eat here again. read more

They are busy at lunch so if possible try to order your take outs before the lunch rush. Great assortment of gift items too.

We found a new favorite breakfast spot! A little crowded but worth the line and wait. Great customer service, Aaron, the barista was awesome. I had a hazelnut iced latte and it was great. The egg and avocado breakfast sandwich was to die for. We'll be coming back! read more

The food here is always consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared. My brother is gluten free and he raves about their sandwiches because it's hard for him to find a place that has high quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch! read more

Cute hidden gem, lavender latte was amazing & the food was fresh & good highly recommend and definitely coming back soon.

So far I really like this place! It's hard to find a place with unique dishes and combinations here and orange county, and even harder to find one that seems to be as successful as Lola's. I have been here twice this week, and both times the place was very crowded, but the staff remarked that this was pretty normal, and even considered slow for them, so that's good to hear. I had the Louis' Grilled Cheese, which is fig spread, brie, and apples grilled in artisan bread, and it is incredible. I just recently noticed that they also sell the fig spread, so I'll be picking some of that up next time I swing by. I saw a few people eating salads, and the bowls were huge and looked great. The lavender Arnold Palmer was really good, albeit a little sweet for my taste, and I'd like to have a little more lavender, but still very delicious. I plan on returning soon when my brothers come back into town! read more

We've been to Lola's a few times now. There are great aspects to this place. The food and drinks are expertly prepared and are always great. The owner is very customer oriented and cares a lot about what he represents. Overall, the staff are professional and friendly. The food is outstanding and has a gourmet feel to it, as well as being healthy and organic. Quality is always top notch. Sometimes it's difficult to get seating, as so many people enjoy this place, but a little patience goes a long way. Also, depending on what you order, your serving size may vary so plan accordingly. Lola's is a staple for us and we'll continue to enjoy it! read more

One of our local favorites. Good salads, awesome avocado toast and breakfast. Their bread is the best!

Came across this cafe today while hanging out with a friend. We got there a couple minutes after 2:30 which is when they close their kitchen but the store owner approached us and asked us what we were thinking about food wise and made an exception to still take our food order. He was very nice and great customer service. He introduced himself and told us how his wife and him own the place. He asked us for our name and went over the menu with us and helped us choose our drinks and food. I definitely will recommend this place to my friends and will be going back soon. Food was great and so was the drinks. read more

The food at Lola's is definitely a 4.5 or 5 but the experience was lacking. The employees are very friendly but they all seemed overwhelmed with the Sunday morning rush. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and each of our meals came out at different times, sometimes 10 minutes apart! We ordered mimosas and they were warm. I will say that my favorite item was the berry flat bread - Amazing! read more

I'm so sad to write this review, as I've really enjoyed Lola's in the past. This morning I had such a disappointing experience, I'm not sure I'll go back. I ordered a latte and repeatedly checked the counter for it. They still hadn't called my name after about 20 minutes so I went up and asked the girl about it. She slid a latte that was sitting directly next to a stack of dirty dishes over to me. It was cold and had obviously been sitting there for quite a while, obscured from view by the dirty dishes. Not sure why they didn't call my name or why they had it sitting with a stack of dirty dishes. The food (avocado toast and a waffle) took 40 minutes to be brought to our table. I was a little frustrated, but they were busy so nbd. When the waffle arrived, it was cold, rubbery and the berries were mushy. They said they still had to make whipped cream so that would be out shortly. Took at least another 5 minutes for the whipped cream that was supposed to come on top of the waffle to come out. The avocado toast was also cold and very hard when it arrived at my table. The poached egg that I ordered on the toast came out 5 minutes later with the whipped cream and was cold, extremely overcooked (very hard boiled and rubbery) and served in a dish of murky water. When I gently pointed out that what I received was not a poached egg but closer to hard boiled, the server just laughed. Overall it was just a really disappointing experience, hopefully just a bad day and not the new normal at Lolas. read more

Avocado toast is truly amazing, and every menu item is delicious! Kind people, great atmosphere! I only wish there were more locations ;)

Great Food. Great for the palate. The pickup service was great. Food was ready as stated on Yelp.
