I liked the items on the menu and decided to try the Icelandic smoked salmon sandwich, lavender white mocha, and my daughter had the Nutella and banana pizzette with a side of berries. I love the presentation and it did not take long for our food to arrive. My daughter's pizzette was good and so was the lavender mocha. Although I could not smell or taste the lavender. There was a mishap with my sandwich so they had to make me another one. Because of their error, they gave me a gluten free chocolate chip cookie on the house while I waited for my new sandwich. As much as I wanted to like the Icelandic, my daughter and I both thought the salmon tasted funny. It may just be the type of salmon they use but we both did not like. I'd like to come back and try other menu items as they all looked very appealing and customer service was good. read more

Lola's Cafe - Love this place! Here is an updated coffee menu and tea menu. The Lavender Lattes are incredible. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

Wow talk about 11/10 customer service!!! I needed this burrito in a few minutes because my boyfriend was picking me up and needed to go to work, they had it out in no joke 2 minutes!! Matthew has the greatest energy and was very kind. My boyfriend wanted to tell the staff thank you, now he won't starve at work! ALSO I come here weekly because of all the gluten free options. The berry muffins is the best muffin I have ever had, I run 5 miles to Lola's just for this muffin. Also I love the egg and bacon sandwich with gluten free bread, it's SO GOOD. Lattes are always bomb as well. Trust this place is the gem of Ladera!!! read more

Lola's Cafe - Egg Lolas Breakfast Burrito - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

We love Lola's! I wish it was closer! The food is super yummy and can accept any diet restrictions. The owners are very personable and kind. Wish it wasn't so expensive ($100 for breakfast for 4) but nonetheless we love it. read more

Cute little cafe- very convenient location for Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo. I've only had espresso drinks here, so that's all I can rate, but they were very good. read more

Pricey, but "vibey" cafe. Has a terrace. Loud on Saturday. Matcha latte wasn't the best..

Much better the second time. Not sure what happened the first time.... but this time definitely made up for it. Like I said, the place looks very promising. The setting, the ambiance. Just my kind of place. It gets pretty busy at times. Workers so far aren't as friendly as I expect at a local breakfast joint... mostly because they are too busy. I don't care so much as long as the food is good. This time tried the lox, mascarpone, and french baguette. Fantastic, especially the house cured salmon. The mascarpone was nice and light. The baguette was not too soft or too hard. Simple deconstructed yet well executed lox breakfast sandwich. My wife had the egg & avo smash sandwich. Also excellent. Nicely baked egg with smashed avocado and melting cheese. Great flavors. Tired the sage and gruyere croissant. It was good but not as good as the other food items. This is what I had been hoping for. Definitely by far the best breakfast in Ladera that I've tried so far. Like I said, not sure what happened the first time but I'm glad I gave it a second chance. read more

I'm obsessed with their coffee!!! Their food is very healthy and tasty but the menu never changes which could be a bummer if you are a regular. It's nice to have a coffee shop in the neighborhood. My only wish would be for their service to be a little faster but atleast it's good to know they are busy. read more

Friendly greeting by Matthew the owner. Cute decor & casual indoor/outdoor seating. I ordered the 'Italian Tuna Salad' sandwich on their whole grain toasted bread. The flavors of the tuna came together quite nicely & I've never tasted anything this original before. My husband ordered what is called 'The Suzy's Iceland Breakfast' on French Artisan bread. This is egg salad with a twist. Includes Lox, capers, lettuce & marscapone cheese. Both sandwiches knocked it out of the park! Presentation was great & sandwiches were brought out to our table on wooden boards verses typical plates. Nice! * Note: Kitchen closes down at 2PM & not 5PM as noted on Yelp. However, they still serve other goodies until closing. read more

Love this place! Eggs Benedict is the bomb! Coffee is also good . Been going to this place for a few years now read more

Came on a weekday morning for breakfast so it was not busy. Came in for the French Toast Soufflé and ended up enjoying the Egg and Bacon Sandwich much more. The top part of the French Toast Soufflé was great, but the bottom felt like a mushy mess that lacked flavor. The brioche bun for the egg and bacon sandwich was really good - flavorful and soft. Coffee was okay but annoying when you pay $30 for breakfast for 2 people plus $2.50 for each coffee and then for every refill you must pay an additional $0.50. Might be back to try more savory items but not overly impressed. read more

We came in this week for a biz lunch and were WOWED! As a gluten-free vegetarian, I usually have to cobble something together at biz lunches...not at Lola's!!! There were no many options for me here. So many thing s were super healthy, too. PLUS...they carry Cake Monkey baked goods and the majority of them were gluten free!!!!!!!! I was in HEAVEN! Coming back soon. read more

I'm obsessed with this place. They have the most amazing tomato soup and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that they make a dairy free grilled cheese! I've also had their tuna sandwich and vegan breakfast burrito. Everything they make is pure gold. I wish they were open for dinner. read more

I absolutely love this place and the vibes it exudes. My boyfriend and I have been coming here ever since it opened a while back (when we were in the early stages of dating). I have been trying to get him to eat healthier and to try out new vegan foods and I can say that this place was the one place that made him appreciate what you can do with healthy and vegan foods! All of the ingredients here are fresh and I used to come so often when I lived nearby that the owner started recognizing me! I have brought so many of my friends here and they have brought so many of their friends here because this is THE spot in Ladera. They used to have this AMAZING berry ricotta flatbread that they unfortunately do not have anymore, but I still love all of their amazing grilled cheeses and their turkey sandwiches and the vegan wrap. My boyfriend is obsessed with their baguette and lox and do not even get me started on the best cookie I have ever had in my life there! I dont even know what the cookie is named... but it has caramelized rice krispies, chocolate chips and marshmallows. Whenever I come here I always get the cold brew green tea (the notes of the tea here are amazing), a cookie, and a sandwich or wrap and I have got myself a complete and amazing meal! read more

Great breakfast and coffee place. You'll love it. Unique fun items to choose from. Try the French toast!!!

Ordered breakfast burritos and coffee. Coffee came promptly, burritos did not arrive at all. After nearly thirty minutes passed we went in to enquire, and it became clear they had never made them. Then, after they promised to expedite making them (which took another ten minutes), THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US AGAIN. Had to show the receipt, after telling them our name and items and that we'd already paid.. it's like the order just vanished into thin air and they did not even care that they had lost it. Yes, it was just as bad as that. They never apologized, they never explained, they never attempted amends. incompetence with a touch of evil. We won't be returning. Oh, and the "burritos" were tiny, child sized you could say. read more

The rose latte was disappointing. It didn't taste like rose at all, tasted like warm milk, not even a hint coffee! I ordered 2, they both tasted like warm milk. read more

I really enjoyed this adorable homey-type-feel cafe. I came here for the first time for a first date. It was lovely out so we decided to sit in the patio. We ordered at the front counter where they had everything you need, including a case of what looked to be very delicious desserts, pastries, & snacks. My date & I both ordered the avocado toast- he added a few eggs, which were baked in a ramekin & looked pretty good. I also got a lavender latte with almond milk. Everything was delicious, & portioned just perfect! The toast was pretty filling. I will be ordering both again, but can't wait to try more on the menu. The owner came up to check on us & chat a couple times, which I quite enjoyed because he was incredibly nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the hospitality, & most importantly the meal. read more

Love this place! Eclectic ambiance and the food is great. A bit pricey but what isn't these days. Definitely recommend.

My friend and I were looking for a cute and affordable cafe and stumbled upon this adorable place today. I ordered the Lola's house salad, mushroom soup, and Rose Cardamom latte. All were fresh and delicious! My friend enjoyed her sandwich and tomato soup as well. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. I met the owner and he was very friendly and passionate about the cafe. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for good food and friendly service. read more

Always love Lola's awesome food and great vibe. Food quality has remained good as most restaurants have gone down

Love, love this place. Super cute vibe, very friendly staff + comfortable atmosphere. Best mocha I've had!

Extremely disappointing considering how wonderful the menu looked. But this review is solely based on one sandwich which was the chicken curry sandwich. It was so DRY that I could barely swallow it and I ended up throwing it away. Two stars because It did have some flavor.... So bummed!! read more

Honey Vanilla latte with almond milk (heart foam was perfect before my first sip). Yummy! Iced hazelnut blah blah blah special. SO YUMMY! Lox, Mascarpone & French baguette ($12) This was delicious! Would absolutely order again! Egg & Bacon Sandwich on warm brioche. Brioche and aged cheddar was the star here! This was an amazing experience. Dog friendly patio gives it 5 Stars! Side of house made pickles-you must ask for it! Delicious! Best pickles ever! read more

When ever I walk into Lola's, I am excited because just about everything is consistently good. The breakfast burritos and egg smash sandwiches are both delicious and have a really good flavor profile. The Tuscan chicken sandwich has chicken, mozzarella, and tomatoes. All of that making a really good flavor combo to make your taste buds happy. But the reason why this is four stars and only four stars is because of two things. 1. If you are looking for a quick meal-don't head to Lola's. It is usually crowded no matter what time you go there. Be prepared to wait for your yummy food to come out. 2. I noticed on the last latte I ordered that they charge $0.75 per pump of vanilla. I understand they use the finest ingredients, but aren't we already paying a premium in their prices? This seems ridiculously high. But I'm still a huge Lola's fan! read more

Lola's cafe is a GEM! I feel so lucky to have this delicious restaurant in my neighborhood. I go here for breakfast and lunch often and have never been disappointed. Whether it be dine in or take out it's always amazing. The ingredients they use are high end and the options are healthy and so yummy. They have lots of gluten free options which is great. Their baked goods are SO GOOD. They have a great ambiance and the outdoor patio is very relaxing. I Highly recommend! read more

When I first walked in this place looked like an original cafe. I ordered a BBQ flatbread pizza. The pizza tasted amazing, however the drink situation was different. First of all, if you order an Iced Tea, you cannot get a refill. Also, the water dispensing system is a sink that is tap water. I recommend trying this place for a nice cafe feel. read more

Lola's Cafe - BBQ pizza tastes amazing!! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

Cool little spot for breakfast with a fresh take on breakfast options. Imagine your standard breakfast options with a healthier twist but still taste very good. I had the Avocado and Toast with Poached Egg. You order at the counter and then they serve you at your tables. Not quite full service but again it works. Seating is varied with some farm tables as well as small tables. A few tables outside as well. Definitely worth giving them a try. read more

Yes please! We love coming to Lola's for our brunch. We usually get the breakfast burrito and one of their iced coffees. The kids always pick out something from the bakery and the cookies are delish. Cute, local, yummy food and great service. read more

I'd call this place a hidden gem, but given how busy it gets, I suppose it's not really "hidden". I've tried several different sandwiches from their breakfast varieties to their lunch options, and all have been really good. My fav is the smashed avo with bacon and egg for breakfast and the pesto chicken for lunch. Their latte and mocha drinks are delish and I'm in love with their variety of pastries. The selection changes on a daily basis, but if you ever see their coconut cheesecake, I would highly recommend grabbing a slice. When the place is packed, it could take a while for the food to come out, so I would recommend coming before the lunch rush on weekdays (before 11:30am). They're typically pretty packed around brunch time on the weekends as well, so be prepared. read more

This is a real gem we found tucked away in Ladera Ranch. I will say that I won't be going anywhere else for coffee anyone. They have Stumptown cold brew here! Food here is also very good, however could be on the pricy end(totally worth it). I have tried the avocado toast and Luis Grilled Cheese. The presentation are nice and they tastes amazing. This is a very relaxing place to relax weekend morning. I'm lucky enough to work from home sometimes, so I will definitely be hanging around here. Ladera is finally having some good places to compete with LA. I hope this place will do well! read more

Very homey feel when you walk in , open floor plan black roof with white hanging lights . The coffee bar has white tile behind it , with a opening to the kitchen . It's a Cafe so they have breakfast & lunch! They have 4 person wood top tables with black legs an black wood chairs. They also have 6 person wood top tables as well! I noticed they make some increased sound when sliding around. They have a lovely outdoor patio if you want to sit outside an enjoy some rays ! The have menus by each door the front doors menus are to the left on a bright turquoise night stand looking thing in a silver bucket . An the patio door to the right a silver bucket . An also at the ordering counter. They use a Clover POS system with an option for a tip. Very simple layout , the staff is very friendly , they have a lot of coffee options an like I said a menu for food. This is a great spot for Ladera moms or anybody who wants to not go very far but get out of the house an grab a quick healthy meal! I posted a photo of the soft opening menu, very healthy "AllNatural" stuff I got the curried chicken salad sandwich, an it tastes very good! Like the curry is defiantly curry! Well seasoned an you have a choice of various bread options I went multigrain. The bread is very thick an grainy :p served on a nice wood plank. Homey with a restaurant feel. It tastes very good ! I'm not normally a fan of curry but I ate it all gone! I got chips an a drink with my sandwich for $16.46 you could say it's "expensive" but I'd rather pay for better quality ingredients . Like I said the staff is very nice you order they bring the food to you. Nice an easy, very peaceful flow . Not to fast an no stress. I wouldn't recommend much, only think I would say is maybe get the same hats or shirts to separate the employees from the customers. The apron does that but for future reference. An putting little pads on the bottom of the wood chairs so it doesn't create scratches on the floor an doesn't make it noisy when adjusting your position in the seat. But that's easy stuff. QUICK TIP: park around the back an walk through the patio the front is always going to be full! They have good customer service served with a smile. Good food an they have wifi! Winner winner happy to have this cafe in Ladera! read more
