Lola is amazing! Nick the bartender makes phenomenal drinks! The Seattle Resturant week deal is FIRE! Best in town. Beautiful lights and decor too. Highly recommend.

A review after multiple visits over the years. The food at Lola is always very good. The drinks are fine. They're mighty proud of them both. The service always . . . professional. _Occasionally_ friendly. Generally not, though. Pleasant enough space that can get pretty loud when it's crowded. I've never had bad food there and I know Lola to be a reliable port in a storm, but . . . this visit came away feeling less personal than the last time I went to the DMV, for Heaven's sake. Not sure what's going on with Tom Douglas' management, but only one of the four of his restaurants we visited this trip made me feel like our patronage was appreciated. I should note that my complaint about mechanical service at Lola only applies to the food on this visit; we popped into the bar for a quick drink and the bartender was quite personable. D Anyway - the food's good. But certainly not the best value in Belltown.

I was visiting Seattle over a holiday weekend, and we stopped by Lola for brunch. Most restaurants in the area were closed for the holiday, so we didn't have any high expectations, but we were very pleasantly surprised that this ended up being one of our favorite meals on our trip. I made a brunch reservation the night before and there were plenty of open time slots. It was a little busy but there were a couple of tables open. The service was very fast despite the holiday. We ordered the Lola breakfast and the eggs Benedict. The crispy potatoes that came with both meals were really good. The eggs were very fluffy and the sauce on the benedict was flavorful and lemony. I'd definitely come back here for brunch next time I'm in Seattle.

Stopped in for a bite to eat after checking into our hotel. Was able to snag seats at the bar as it was a good 20 to 30 min wait. Ordered the breakfast with eggs, sausage (the hubby got bacon) it also came with toast and garlic smashed crispy potatoes. I did order an espresso martini which was really good. The service was good and the food was delicious. Very casual I side and. It too loud. Would definitely go back.

Donuts

My friend from out of town went here for breakfast which I have been too before. I had a latte and bloody mary, both were good but nothing particularly stood out about them. We started with the house made donuts. They were warm, made to order and great. While serving in a paper bag was neat, it somewhat results in uneven coating of sugar. But definitely still worth getting. Both of our main courses were good. I especially liked the bacon. But we both agreed the smashed potatoes were way too over cooked which resulted in the outside being way to hard, not edible and almost impossible to cut. Service was excellent. Would definitely go again.

My husband and I recently visited Seattle and went here for dinner with a group of friends. It was so delicious that we ended up getting brunch there with my SIL and her fiancé the next morning. To drink at dinner, we shared a bottle of Pinot Gris. It was a really cute bottle with an otter on it. The wine was crisp and delicious. I also got a Diet Coke, and I was impressed by their brew. For dinner, we got pita with tzatziki and fig sauce, lamb kebabs, and meatball to start. This was the best pita bread I've ever had. It was so soft and flavorful. The sauces were amazing!! The seasoning on the lamb kebabs made every bite incredible and they were cooked perfectly. They also come out on the sizzling plate, and I thought that was super fun. For our entree, my husband and I shared the half roasted chicken. It was tender and juicy with perfect crispy skin. Everything I ate at dinner was incredible and left me satisfied but still wanting more. We loved it so much we decided to try it for breakfast. I got the French toast and a side of bacon. The chantilly whip cream really too it to the next level. The bacon was phenomenal. My SIL's fiancé said the scrambled eggs were the best eggs he's ever had. They looked very fluffy. The potatoes that came with breakfast were out of this world. Super crispy outside and soft in the middle. Everyone we at here with loved their meals. It is definitely pricey but worth it. The service was great. I hope to be back someday.

Visited with a friend who made a brief trip to Seattle. We came for brunch on a weekend and made a reservation, so there was no wait but it was definitely crowded. I would definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time if you can! For the food, I really liked the hash brown/falafel hybrid--super unique and really delicious! Their beignets were also nice and fluffy and the toast was decent as well. However, I wasn't a big fan of their scrambled eggs. Overall it was a solid choice for brunch, I'd order something different for my main dish though!

Calamari and chermoula sauce

Had a nice dinner here. Highlights were the pita, all of the dips, the seafood stew, and the fried calamari. The chermoula sauce for the calamari was delicious. We personally did not care for the flavor or thigh meat chicken kebab but it was presented nicely and the sauce was flavorful. The steak was nice and cooked just right but could have used some finishing salt. We also had 3 cocktails. 2 of them were delicious. One which is not in the photos was called ouz operator and I simply did not enjoy it, at all, matter of personal taste. Server didn't ask how everything was or if we liked it, and I thought that was a bit odd. Our server was friendly but she was also busy with a lot of tables and our interactions felt more quick and business like. A couple times we needed something I had to make eye contact to get attention. Inside was quite nice. Simple. We had a booth by the window and it was just right. Overall a very nice time if you want this style of food.

Lola, a Tom Douglas restaurant is amazing. I have not been to this place for a long time. I'm glad I did tonight. I am so glad it has continued to have great food and service. Ambiance is awesome! Lots of people so make your reservations like us. We ordered a shared appetizer - pita bread and all 6 kinds of toppings hummus, tzatziki, and all they offer. Each one of us had an entree ranging from lamb burger, chicken, mushroom and lamb kebabs - all so good. It was so tender and tasty. Enough to fill us. Love it! So good! Kebabs were served on a hot plate. Nice presentation. Service was outstanding. Good attentive service .

Spread sampler, freshly grilled pita

Service was friendly and there was plenty of seating inside with mood lighting. No reservations needed as we just walked in on a weekday around 7:30 pm. The server came up to greet us and make suggestions. We tried their grape leaves rice rolls, Bean Shakshuka, and pita bread dip with olive and figs. Everything was priced quite high and did not really hit the spot for me. I wasn't a big fan of the grape leaves rice rolls. Their pita bread with fig and olive dip was recommended by the server and was told you wouldn't taste the olive but olives were the only thing you could taste..and I am not a fan of olives :( The bean Shakshuka was probably the best. It came with 2 slices of toasted bread, a warm slightly mild tomato base, cheese, and beans. Pretty good! I also don't know why there is a door directly inside the hotel that leads to this restaurant inside, but they have a signage to go around .. meaning to go outside in the COLD OR SNOW (yes it was snowing at midnight) to enter the restaurant from their front door. If I'm staying at this hotel, it would be nice to have direct access to the restaurant inside. Would come back if I'm staying at the Andra again, but would probably order their breakfast menu instead.

Oh my gosh, this dish I got was SO good! I honestly forgot what it was called, but I would definitely order it again. Their mini donuts are also so delicious, and the portions are pretty filling. This place does get really busy during brunch, so definitely add yourself to the waitlist ahead of time!

Lola is a cute corner spot in the downtown area. I came in on an early weekday morning before a conference to grab the pancakes and maple sausage that I'd heard about so much. The service was kind and attentive - especially when they confirmed that I could get a single pancake to complement my breakfast. The pancake was the star! I recommend this place for a great breakfast!

Ask the Community - LOLA

Do they need reservations for brunch?

Preferably to be safe. They're really popular over the weekend!

Can you make a vegan eggs Benedict? Can you replace the egg yolks with silken tofu and the butter with something like Earth Balance to make it ethical? You could also replace the poached eggs with Just Egg or another easy to find and cheap egg.

Hi we are unable to make a vegan benedict as hollandaise is made using butter and eggs. We can make you poached eggs with sautéed greens on an English muffin if that would work .…

Are you open today?

Yes, they just reopened on Oct. 28!

Is there dairy in the mini doughnuts/beignets?

Hi there Amber- yes there is milk in the LOLA doughnuts and also they are served with house made jam and vanilla mascarpone.…

Is 18% service fee mandatory?

It was on our bill. I usually tip 20% so our server lost out a bit. But yes, it appears to be mandatory based on my experience.

Any vegetarian options?

Yes, they can customize anything on the menu into a vegetarian meal.

If you eat at Lola, do they validate parking?

No.

Is there a park for cars?

No, but there's plenty of parking lots all around Lola. I usually park a couple blocks down.

Is there anyone to change the salmon in the eggs Benedict for any other type of meat?

You can definitely ask to change the meat in the eggs bene! They are very accommodating!

Do you offer any gluten free options?

7am to 3pm Brunch ends at 3pm

From what time to time is lola serving brunch?

6am during the week and 7am on the weekend not sure what time it ends

I spotted Al Bacha and thought it rung a bell but I wasn't sure where I saw it before. I then remembered that they have a location in downtown Tacoma. It's actually been quite a while since I have been to the Tacoma location but going off of memory it seemed like the menu was just a bit different here. Maybe it's the same as the Tacoma one... I dunno... like I said....it's been a while. But I really liked what I ordered here. When it comes to Greek food I almost always go for the Gyro and I ordered that on this visit. My Gyro was very, very good! The ingredients were fresh and the meat tasted great. Cooked and seasoned quite nicely. I devoured it and loved every minute of it. The French Fries were very good too. All in all a very nice meal. Steve got a Falafel Sandwich which was excellent as well. I really liked both of these items very much! Would I come back? Yes! Absolutely!

There was parking right on the corner. It feels quite commercial inside, which was shocking being my first time here. I spent around $20. It would've been worth it, but I didn't end up eating the food. For some reason, I don't recall it being Shawarma chicken that I had last time. I think it was grilled chicken. However, I was not fond of this chicken at all it was shaved off. I honestly wasn't fond of the texture or the flavor. There was a lot of garlic sauce. The rice was not enjoyable. I did like the hummus and the salad. I threw the rest out. I'm sorry to say..

First impression, it's smaller than most salad that i got and it's really plain. This would be a five star review, but they have to simplify their menu. It was actually confusing to find out how much my order was - a main street gyro plate said something like $9 but the order ended up being $12 (menu said it included fries, but the cashier said "would you like fries with that" and added a $3 surcharge when I said yes). Other than that, fries were fantastic on texture and flavor, the main street gyro plate was uniquely appetizing in appearance, ingredients and flavor. Not a thing I would change on that front. The food is well worth the price, even at $12, so they shouldn't feel ashamed about quoting that higher price. If they're in town, you better chow down.
