pork belly gyro & lamb gyro combo
    Regina M.

Wow, absolutely blown away. The truck came to Chuck's and we were so impressed. Portions were huge and everything tasted fresh af. You have to try the chipotle sauce on the side! The fries are a non-negotiable and crisped to perfection.

Went here after a long day of moving and looking for something to eat. I also wanted to get food for my buddy who helped me out. conveniently close and fast we agreed on some gyros, Theo's Gyros that is. He wanted to get "Gyro Fries!!" - "Theo's Fries topped with Feta cheese Gyro meat, Tzatziki sauce and Greek style Piko! Yumm!" These were loaded with flavor and fixins and my friend and I shared these. They're $14.50 which seemed like a decent deal for the amount. I got the pork belly gyro which was ok. There was a fair amount of pork belly which was good, but overall, it lacked flavor. The Tzatziki and veggies were fine, but the meat just seemed bland and needed additional sauce to make it more palatable. I would try again here for the Gryo fries combo like my friend had or perhaps settle simply for a Greek bowl. All of the options are about $15 so I kind of expected more out of the Pork Belly Gyro.

Theo's Gyros food truck visited my office recently, so my colleagues and I decided to check it out since it's one of the few trucks that does not routinely visit Bellevue. Unfortunately though, I was not impressed as my food was lackluster. Although the menu has a good amount to choose from, with different protein options and entrees, I wasn't pleased with the gyro fries that I ordered. There was not much to like about my dish, which was over $15. Some of the fries were too fried, so it was literally too hard to eat. And the gyro meat on top of the fries was overcooked, so some of the pieces weren't tender, but had a crispy edge to them and was dry. Disappointing. Unfortunately, I likely wouldn't visit this truck again, especially since I can get a gyro in downtown Bellevue that is cheaper and tastier. Hopefully others will have better luck, but can't say I'd recommend this food truck for gyros.

We got one of the beef and lamb gyro plates at the Fremont Sunday market and were pretty disappointed. For $18, portions were small, and flavors were somehow both bland and all over the place. The meat was dry and unevenly seasoned, and the fries were not crispy. Neither sat well in my stomach. I know market food typically comes at a premium, but I really felt like we did not get good value for what we spent. There was one person in front of me in line to order, and it took about 15 minutes to get my food. Service was average.

WOW. This place is so amazing!! I got the chicken souvlaki gyro, and, I have to say, it's one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. Yum!! Stefano, one of the employees was super nice, and made sure that we enjoyed our meal. Sunset dinner at a cute clean wooden pick kick table just outside the food truck was a lovely scene! They were very accommodating with the food, and it was a pleasant and delicious time! Perfect if you have music lessons around the corner at off the wall, too! 10/10, would totally recommend!

Theo's is what got me loving gyros! They're my favorite gyro place in Seattle and I haven't been able to find another place that comes close to Theo's. The owners are so chill and always down to have a laugh and are very accommodating. The service has always been great each time I have gone to Theo's and they've been fast even when it's busy! I personally love the pork belly gyro and love both the tzatziki and the homemade hummus. I always feel very full after eating here even after the day has ended and always feel like it's money well spent! (One of the only photos I have of my food was taken on Valentine's Day, the food was delicious and the baklava was an amazing treat after finishing our meals!)

Roasted Lamb Gyro: There was plenty of meat and veggies inside! I also enjoyed the taste and texture of the pita. Some bites were extremely salty, though. Theo's Gyros were one of a few food trucks at the Bellevue NYE Night Market. There was a long line to place an order. Afterwards, it was an even longer wait for your food (around 15 minutes).

Food truck that came by Everett apartments. Service was friendly. Lots of meat in the gyro. The fries were crispy, but seasoning was a bit uneven. Food came out fast in about five minutes. Got the extra tzatziki sauce, which was $2 extra, would recommend just getting their creamy garlic sauce with the fries next time (also free!)

Had this last week for lunch. It's been awhile since I had a gyro so I was sooo surprised at how big this thing was. Food truck was right outside the medical dental building so that was convenient. Literally just ran across the street and voila haha. Anyways it was delicious. I want it now. Service was fast and quick!

Got the roasted lamb gyro from their food truck during the SLU block party. The service was quick after ordering. The lambs were shred into very thin slices like shabu shabu style. I couldn't taste much of the lamb flavor tbh or much meaty flavor at all. It was also placed in a big bundle making it hard to eat the gyro without getting all of the meat in one bite. The tzatziki sauce was very tangy and doused the gyro which was nice and the veges were all very crisp. They also really loaded it up on the cheese. Overall though the gyro didn't taste very homogenous - each element was kind of separate and didn't really come together, didn't taste bad but wasn't anything flavor blasting either.

Theo's has been on my list for a while to check out, because of all the excellent reviews and also because hubs especially loves a good gyro. Hubs ordered a lamb & chicken gyro and I opted for the falafel gyro. The falafel was pretty good, crispy on the outside & soft in the middle - the way its supposed to be. And I love that Theo's includes fries with their gyro's. Unfortunately, however, the falafel was a bit too salty for me. Next time I'll try the lamb...

Great food and super friendly staff! Their pork belly gyro was delicious, the chunks of pork belly were thick yet not dry at all and very well cooked. Also their pita bread was the best I've had (sounds trivial but when what is wrapping your food is not good... it ruins the whole meal. It's like getting a good burger but with horrible buns) Ask got their lamb gyro bowl and I really enjoyed the combo of French fries and basmati rice! Will definitely be back for another visit!

Checked this food truck out while they were at the SLU Saturday Market. Tried their chicken souvlaki wrap and really liked the chicken and the fact that there were fries in it. It was really hard to put red sauce in though since they wrapped it like a burrito. It also could have been more evenly filled but all in all still delicious!

Roasted Pork Belly Gyro: tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce wrapped in warmed pita, pepperoncini and Greek pico ($13.75).

OKAY - fair warning - NO BOOZE HERE :(…read more I was meeting four people I had never met before the night before we were all heading off on a 10-day cruise, so the pressure was ON. I had to pick a place everyone would enjoy, and, ideally, somewhere we could actually get a reasonable-hour reservation. After a few rounds of back-and-forth, we settled on this place. It was a bit of a walk from our hotel, but no biggie. The restaurant itself is charming, and the hot, fresh pita breads coming out of the oven were a very good omen. The rest of our party arrived, and we were seated toward the back of the room. At first, I noticed a little door literally right next to our table and thought, "UGH, the bathroom is on top of us." Nope. It was a prayer room. So... fine. Then BAM, the bad news. We wanted to order cocktails, and they don't serve any alcohol. WHOOPS, my bad! But honestly, how often do you come across that scenario? A nice restaurant that takes reservations, has a full dinner menu, and serves absolutely no booze. I clearly missed that detail when I made the reservation. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my cocktail disappointment. It started with the fresh pita and some kind of crack oily/herby dip they served with it. If they sold this stuff by the bottle, I would have bought some. Seriously, it was unbelievable. I could have made a meal out of the bread and dip alone - and who is saying I didn't?. My man and I split a mixed meat platter. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was trying to pay attention to getting to know the people I was about to spend 10 days cruising with. I do remember that everything was quite tasty, well roasted, and that the pork was my favorite. So, come for the food, the fresh pita, and that ridiculously addictive dip. Just know before you go: you will not be ordering a cocktail with dinner. But more good news, is that the bill without alcohol will be cheaper.

They delivered exactly what you want from a smash burger: juicy patties with perfectly crispy, caramelized edges, all tucked into soft, toasty brioche buns. The buns were a standout - they held everything together beautifully and soaked up the juices without getting soggy. The fries were crisp and satisfying, rounding out the meal nicely. There was salad, that had like the full bottom parts of lettuce in it, there was onions in some kind of sauce, kimchi, just not a lot of things I personally like to eat. I would say their banchan definitely leans more towards Asian clientel, so if you go with someone who is a picky eater or not super familiar with asian/korean food, then just be aware of that I'd say. Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once.
