Theo's Gyros the Malaka of all gyros. Worst and most over priced gyro I've ever purchased. I roll up to the food truck and bang $20 plus tip... I GOT YOUR TIP RIGHT HERE !!! This hunk of crap was mainly lettuce & fries to fill out the pita so it looked full sized. These cheap SOB's then provided razor thin shavings of meat and splashed with sauce. Folks this meat was so thin I could have read the newspaper through it... Plus meat was dry probably cause it was so thin. And then NO NAPKINS , what kinda place does not provide napkins for your meal.. Needless to say I spent $25 for the world's worst gyro and took 3 bites and threw it away. I'd should have smashed it on the truck but I didn't. BEWARE OF THIS GREEK! THE GYRO SUCKS BIG TIME ! read more

Went here after a long day of moving and looking for something to eat. I also wanted to get food for my buddy who helped me out. conveniently close and fast we agreed on some gyros, Theo's Gyros that is. He wanted to get "Gyro Fries!!" - "Theo's Fries topped with Feta cheese Gyro meat, Tzatziki sauce and Greek style Piko! Yumm!" These were loaded with flavor and fixins and my friend and I shared these. They're $14.50 which seemed like a decent deal for the amount. I got the pork belly gyro which was ok. There was a fair amount of pork belly which was good, but overall, it lacked flavor. The Tzatziki and veggies were fine, but the meat just seemed bland and needed additional sauce to make it more palatable. I would try again here for the Gryo fries combo like my friend had or perhaps settle simply for a Greek bowl. All of the options are about $15 so I kind of expected more out of the Pork Belly Gyro. read more

Theo's Gyros food truck visited my office recently, so my colleagues and I decided to check it out since it's one of the few trucks that does not routinely visit Bellevue. Unfortunately though, I was not impressed as my food was lackluster. Although the menu has a good amount to choose from, with different protein options and entrees, I wasn't pleased with the gyro fries that I ordered. There was not much to like about my dish, which was over $15. Some of the fries were too fried, so it was literally too hard to eat. And the gyro meat on top of the fries was overcooked, so some of the pieces weren't tender, but had a crispy edge to them and was dry. Disappointing. Unfortunately, I likely wouldn't visit this truck again, especially since I can get a gyro in downtown Bellevue that is cheaper and tastier. Hopefully others will have better luck, but can't say I'd recommend this food truck for gyros. read more

My husband and I routinely will pick up heroes from Theo's and have always been impressed. The pita is soft, the meat is flavorful, the hot sauce they provide is zippy and spicy. We always get the Greek salad which is fresh with generous amounts of feta, tomatoes, and cucumber. Last night, I deviated from our usual and got the falafel with hummus. It was delicious. Crispy with a pillowy and soft interior. Great flavor and an excellent vehicle for hot sauce. Couldn't recommend more. read more

We got one of the beef and lamb gyro plates at the Fremont Sunday market and were pretty disappointed. For $18, portions were small, and flavors were somehow both bland and all over the place. The meat was dry and unevenly seasoned, and the fries were not crispy. Neither sat well in my stomach. I know market food typically comes at a premium, but I really felt like we did not get good value for what we spent. WOW. This place is so amazing!! I got the chicken souvlaki gyro, and, I have to say, it's one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. Yum!! Stefano, one of the employees was super nice, and made sure that we enjoyed our meal. Sunset dinner at a cute clean wooden pick kick table just outside the food truck was a lovely scene! They were very accommodating with the food, and it was a pleasant and delicious time! Theo's is what got me loving gyros! They're my favorite gyro place in Seattle and I haven't been able to find another place that comes close to Theo's. The owners are so chill and always down to have a laugh and are very accommodating. The service has always been great each time I have gone to Theo's and they've been fast even when it's busy! I personally love the pork belly gyro and love both the tzatziki and the homemade hummus. I always feel very full after eating here even after the day has ended and always feel like it's money well spent! Got the roasted lamb gyro from their food truck during the SLU block party. The service was quick after ordering. The lambs were shred into very thin slices like shabu shabu style. I couldn't taste much of the lamb flavor tbh or much meaty flavor at all. It was also placed in a big bundle making it hard to eat the gyro without getting all of the meat in one bite. The tzatziki sauce was very tangy and doused the gyro which was nice and the veges were all very crisp. They also really loaded it up on the cheese. Overall though the gyro didn't taste very homogenous - each element was kind of separate and didn't really come together, didn't taste bad but wasn't anything flavor blasting either. read more

Wasn't too busy just before noon time, friendly gent greeted me and took my order. I decided to get the "Traditional Beef & Lamb Gyro". It was quite good, your standard gyro ingredients that had the meat of your choice, lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, tomato and a good dollop of tzatziki sauce. I like they put french fries inside of the gyro, hell yea! I also ordered some extra fries on the side, wise life decision on my part. Everything was very flavorful, tasty gyro and a pretty good sized to make you full. Glad I came by because it was delicious! Didn't take too long to whip up, seems like it is family run, as it looked like mama theo was working the line. Prices are pretty good for what you get and pretty much the going rate of food trucks all around. Late post: A few weeks ago we were at the Magnuson Park Night Market. They had food trucks in their back courtyard. My boyfriend & I couldn't decide what we wanted to eat. We kept on circling around and I kept saying that "I've been craving a gyro". I didn't see anyone at their truck, so I was a bit skeptical. I started seeing people order some stuff, so I decided to order something. I asked the cashier what he recommended the lamb or chicken gyro. He said, he preferred the chicken one. I was hoping the chicken wasn't going to be too dry. So I ended up ordering a chicken gyro and fries. I was pleasantly surprised after I took my first bite. The chicken was super moist AND there were fries inside the gyro. It was soooo good! The fries were perfectly fried & seasoned. The sauces were fire! I don't know how they marinate and cook the pork belly but its absolute perfection. Big chunks of pork belly, seasoned well and tender. Theo's Gyros (a food truck) came by the Starbucks Center the other week and I stopped by to get a beef & lamb gyro and fries. It was ready in moments and I was back to the office in no time at all. First thing I noticed was that everything looked fresh and tasty. The beef & lamb had good flavor but was pretty thinly sliced, though abundant. The veggies were bright and crisp and the pita was fluffy and fresh. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The tzatziki didn't have the normal bold garlic flavor I'd expect, though, and realizing this was perhaps my only moment of disappointment. I am a huge fan of garlic. Also, they accept Apple Pay, which makes me happy. Definitely a good choice for something different if you're in the area. I'm happy I found Theo and his gyros and will be back the next time this truck is in the area. read more

"WARNING: OUR GYROS CONTAIN FRENCH FRIES." If only they had posted a huge sign that indicated this. Such a sign could not be too big or obnoxious. personally, French fries in a gyro sandwich is what I find to be too obnoxious. I guess I did not read the small print under the header "beef and lamb gyro sandwich" which may have mentioned the inclusion of French fries stuffed inside the pita with all the rest of the ingredients. I did not read the sub text because I know exactly what a "beef and lamb gyro sandwich" is supposed to be. Guess what? They don't typically contain potatoes! As I waited for a second sandwich, this time without the previously frozen krinkle-cut processed fries, a guy picked up his order and walked back to his group of friends. "That's weird," he said to them, "they put French fries in my gyro." Yeah, that is weird, my brother. This is not Pittsburg, this is not the Primanti Brothers. This is a food truck with a huge mural of a gyro sandwich painted on the side, with no indication of this travesty of what has happened to this classic Greek sandwich. I lost my patience waiting for the second sandwich, so I cut my loses and let it go and left Bottom line, I paid for two uneaten sandwiches. read more
