Had a Lojack system installed on my new 2014 vehicle. In September 2015 I received a letter from Lojack telling me the unit needed to be replaced due to battery failure. They came out to the house and replaced the unit in November 2015. Sometime in 2018, every time I drove the vehicle the Lojack would trigger and I would receive a text message telling me my unit had alarmed. Even after changing the batteries in the FOBS, the unit continued to malfunction. On October 29, 2019, I contacted Lojack and arranged for a service call. At that time "Ethan" told me that it would cost $99 ($106.18 with tax) to schedule the service call. He told me that the $99 would be refunded if the technician determined the unit was faulty and replaced it with a new one. At the conclusion of the telephone call I received a text alert from my bank indicating that Lojack had placed a hold on my VISA for the $106.18 amount. The appointment was on November 4, 2019. The technician indicated the unit was faulty and installed a new unit. So this was my THIRD new unit in five years. On 11/5/19, I called Lojack to register my new unit and confirm the refund of $106.18 would be processed. "John" completed the registration process and confirmed the refund would be processed in "3-7 business days". On November 19, 2019, I called Lojack customer service and spoke to "Ethan" to find out why my refund had not been processed. He said he was unable to do anything but "send an email to his manager who would return my call within 24-48 hours." On November 25, 2019 I called Lojack customer service again. Spoke to "Mandy". She said she had no idea why refund had not been processed. Refused to let me speak to a manager, but said she was emailing and instant messaging her manager "Jordan". Mandy said Jordan should be calling me later that day. "Now it is just a waiting game." On November 27, 2019, I called Lojack customer service again to see why my refund still had not been processed and why the manager(s) had never returned my calls. Spoke with "Angela". Again I was told there was "nothing she could do but send an email message". She said she was sending her manager, "Jordan" an email message, but doubted he would return call/respond because it was after 5pm in Texas and the managers had all gone home for the day. She said there is no other way to contact the company or speak to a manager.
