Fun fact: replace them with ordinary batteries and you'll burn your house down. Laugh riot. Every time the internet farts, the entire system shuts down and has to be resurrected piece by piece, like a dying blue-footed booby in need of the rarest, most precious krill on earth. Good luck. What should be a 2-to-4 second delay is a 40-to-90 second lag, letting you know "something" "may or may not have" passed by a camera... last year. Was it Bigfoot? A serial killer? Who knows? Not your security system. Bwahahaha. Cynical me thinks this incompetence is deliberate to force you into their monthly monitoring (which is far more expensive than Ring). The system won't let you view a damn thing without reminding you the tax exists. It's very much: "We have your daughter, here's an ear.... would you like to pay us now? lol" In short: Take $900 out of your bank account, grab a Bic lighter, set fire to the cash, and enjoy the glow. It will be just as useful, and at least it won't wake you up at 3 a.m.

Here is my experience: I went to their web site and looked at their "packages". Turned out they were "packages of s..t" ! I didn't know yet. I called them to talk about my home security needs. BARK ! I had a person on the phone who repeated himself no matter what I said. I am leaving another company as they increased their monthly rate substantially and fraudulently, but what SimpliShady offered me was much worse. BARK ! He then began to push, apparently thinking I needed that to switch. I asked him to email me the offer we discussed, declining his earlier "Core" offer, which is actually a Garbage Offer. What he emailed me confirmed they are a Garbage Company, with errors, lies, absurdities, and AI-generated slime. I emailed them back, telling them to fix the errors, else I won't switch. More GARBAGE came, fast. BARK ! Then someone wrote that they could not close my account, as I was already enrolled. Ehhh ?? I never enrolled, I don't have an account. Conclusion: I emailed them we need not to go further, I'll go elsewhere. SimpliSafe is simply unsafe. Run by freaks, AI bots, crooks, and liars. Here on Yelp, they are portrayed very accurately as TRASH. I'm going to look for a local company with good reputation. SAY NO TO GARBAGE. You deserve better.
