Burgers, burgers, burgers. When it comes to burgers, I am very picky& I prefer my burgers medium rare. Most places, cook their (mr), more like medium. I was with a buddy of mine& we decided to stop on Logies bar, off of belt line. Since I was hungry, I went for the menu 1st, and ordered a Swiss, and mushroom Berger. The Berger was cooked on the money, and the fries were hot. When you walk in, you are greeted by Krystal, and a smile to die for. Logies is my go to after work spot to unwind and see my regular bartender Z. Zsanna has been taken care of me for such a long time and making sure my food is hot when I order it and my drinks are always full. I always feel safe and taken care of and have always had a great time there and it's the perfect ending to each day when I work my doubles. The fried mushrooms and chicken ceasar wrap are my go to. then Zsanna is the cherry on top she's always happy to see me and make sure I'm ok! thank you!!! read more

Again, meats focused review. Granted this is just bar food, but storage and supply source should still be managed and maintained. Service is amazing. I have never been unattended. Usually there is only 1 or 2 bartenders, and they hustle the whole floor. Atmosphere is right up my alley. I like darts, pool, tvs, and low light with my drinks. Being a nicotine user, im glad theyre one of the last holdouts to allow smoking and vaping. Let me destroy my lungs and those around me, while we all destroy our livers and digestive systems. Theres a good mix of bar food options. Pizza, burgers, tacos, sa-lads, and your usual mix of starters. They provide you some santitas style chips and picante sauce for free with your drinks. I have negatively reviewed places for serving this swill as "chips and salsa" in the past, but it is free here and serves more as a plus. My only complaint is the quality if the food. Twice i have been here and had wings, and through the sauce, you can taste, as well smell, the freezer burn of the meat. I have personally partaken in the starter sample, and egg rolls. I have witnessed the beef tacos and am less impressed. Egg rolls had the freezer burn as well, so im starting to deduce this isnt a supply chain issue, maybe more a supply source not packaging things properly or the freezer here. My brother described the tacos as being what what my mother would prepare for us growing up. Just ground beef seasoned in "old el paso". Every main course option comes with fries or tots. Food isnt my main concern with a bar. I live in a 1st world country and own a toilet i can use the next day during my morning meetings. This is a great place if you're a local. However, if a local instigates a fight with you then they will make you feel unwelcomed in a heart beat. As a former Marine, i was called over to a veterans group. Shortly after, a veteran who must have been triggered (and was drunk already) began accusing me of "stolen valor". Although I did not instigate the conflict, I was told to leave the area and then refused service after the incident. The bartender was using his "best" judgment, but it was evident that the bias was a cultural problem. I had one drink and was refused service after. One star for poor quality service and poor quality people. read more

Came here to have a cold beer, ended up with Covid19, overpriced Uber expense, and second hand smoke. Place seemed cool and laid back, but I quickly realized how unsafe it was. I had 3 beers and tabbed out. To my surprise the bartender asked me to Uber rather than drive. I was perfectly fine and declined. Then a bouncer (mask off) got in my face about driving. Come to find out the owner has shares in Uber. Uber surged me from the bar, causing a $63 ride fee. This place literally took money from me only to blow second hand smoke and covid saliva in my face. Think I'll pass and just go to Pluckers next door next time. read more

I don't recommend this place. They don't have good attitude or service and bad music. We asked to change it and they said they didn't have time and we asked someone else and they said "we'll see". We ordered 2 pizza's as well and both were left uneaten. Personally I don't know if it's the dough, sauce or cheese but Dominos makes better pizzas that's this place...save your money for an actual experience you'd like to enjoy and go somewhere else. First and foremost, you can smoke inside. All of the bartenders and staff are courteous and friendly. Ask them for a recommendation and they are happy to help. They get to know you quickly after just a few visits and treat you like you are home. As far as the two pool tables, there are regulars that set rules, so just make sure you know the rules before you put up a challenge. Before 9:00 PM or so is pretty relaxed, but afterwards the party starts, especially with their own DJ on weekends. If you make a request, he is very good about getting your song played soon. read more

Simply put, this place is not what it used to be. And on top of new staff and decreased customer service, they recently downsized by getting rid of the back room where the pool tables and dart boards originally were. The place is MUCH smaller now and the pool tables are in the middle of seating. I tried playing pool here two weeks ago and it's cramped if two games are going at once. I can only imagine what it'd be like if people were actually occupying the surrounding tables as well. Side note: you can still smoke inside here. Some people love that, as it's one of maybe 3 places in Addison that you still can. Personally, I'd prefer more fresh air in here. I love when they keep the doors open. read more

Went here after a "plant nite" next store at Blue Mesa. Hello, Dorothy, we have left Dallas behind when we enter this local gem for sure. #texasforever Local flavor: 5/5. People watching on point. And by on point I mean if you've ever heard a county songs about girls night, boys night, or the local drinking hole, it started in a bar similar to this one but probably a lot smaller. Food: 5/5 the wings were great. They were wings. That celery though. Ambiance: 5/5 speaking of people watching, the walls are plastered with famous (and infamous) folk from all walks of life. Take a walk on the wild side around the restaurant, walk out the bar with an animal house quote being the last thing you see... Service: 4/5 fairly quick to begin but if the bar wasn't empty, those couple of weights could have gotten way dragged out. Also, the bartender at one point made a drink with like no alcohol and was very sour when we called it out...charged us for doubles and pointedly over flowed the glass in front of us. I ordered a drink and noticed it didn't seem to have alcohol in it. I then had to order doubles because I had drank 6-8 drinks and didn't even have a buzz! By the end of the night 12 regular drinks and 6 doubles, and $170 later I finally had a good buzz. Hands down my favorite bar anywhere. Super laid back atmosphere (wear what you want without worrying about impressing anyone), reasonable prices and generous portions (and pours) lots of friendly regulars. A refreshing contrast to the Uptown bars where everyone is looking to see and be seen. Just a place to relax and chill alone or with friends. I've been coming to Logies for 10 yrs. Things have really turned around since Jake and the rest of the staff came to take over. Staff is amazing. They're real tentative to the customers and are real courteous. They have great daily food specials especially their $.50 cent wing night each Wednesday. Crowd is great and is a great mixture both during the day and at night. Highly recommend this bar. Whether you want to come in here to shoot the shit with Ken the bartender or want to socialize and meet other great people that walk into this bar. This is the place to be. read more

Stopped by this bar on Saturday night and it was really low key. The bar was rather large and they had pool tables. They do allow smoking inside the bar so it wasn't my favorite atmosphere but there was plenty of patio seating. This place used to be called Logan's and it looks exactly the same inside but just changed the name. Nothing really stood out about the bar just a super low key time. If that's what your looking for in the Addison area then this will be a good spot for you. read more

It's getting two stars simply for the fact that we've never had a bad time here we come a couple times a month and it's always a blast. However tonight we came in started with on bartender she's always amazing. However briefly after Megan ( short blonde hair, I believe that's her name. Seeing as she mumbled it to us.) was HORRIBLE. We couldn't get anything for service she sat and talked to her friends the ENTIRE time. When she gave us our checks it took another 25 minutes for her to even run the one card we had with out two checks. That's service alone is enough to ruin us going back. Fortunately enough the rest of their bartenders and staff are great. But that service was unbelievable. read more

Hi - my name is Jenna and I work at Logie's on Beltline. I've been with Logie's (formerly Logan's) for awhile and I love working for a small family owned company. While I am biased it is our goal to make you feel at home here and we try our hardest everyday by trying to make you feel like family over time. Like family we do have our off days and I promise you if we mess up we will take care of it right then and there. We have two cooks Pablo and Jose (brothers) who have been working since the day we have opened. It is only them who handle the food and it's insane what these guys can do (believe me try the food). We realize we are placed on Beltline and we have a lot of competition all around us... but rather than competing for your attention for events or a night on the town we want to be your home base or home bar. We do allow smoking and there are wooden bar stools. We also have pool tables that are first come first serve. If you are here during the day expect to hear classic rock so we can please all age groups. For the sake of our sanity we switch it up as the night progresses. We play a mix of genres at night on our system. We have a DJ Wednesday through Sunday. There are a couple Facebook pages linked to us, but the correct one is the most recent active one. (We are working on deleting the old one). The daily specials are on our Facebook page. We have food & drink specials Sunday through Thursday. Happy hour everyday is open to 8 pm.
