I have eaten the food at this restaurant on at least three occasions and each time I was not disappointed. The prices line up with the portion sizes are reasonable and the service is pretty good too. The ambience is cozy, but in certain locations of the restaurant during the cooler months, you can feel a breeze. It would be nice to have a door that was continuously closed so the air would not circulate into the building and would stay in the foyer area. read more

Was our first experience ever at a Logan's and was definitely our last we did come with a big group of 12 but that shouldn't have had any impact on the drinks and the food . First of all tried to order a beer beer came and it was warm and they act like we were stupid because we said it was warm then a manager comes to apologize as it says that their machine is only keeping it at like 56° so of course it's warm why you even serve it then the girls that ordered drinks that all their drinks tasted like pure sugar and no any alcohol. Went ahead and ordered food. I ordered the bone and ribeye and wife ordered chicken. My bone and ribeye was not only overcooked but tough. They put the sweet potato on the same plate so it just tasted like nothing but cinnamon butter and sugar and my wife's chicken was undercooked almost raw and so was a few other people at the table when it came to separating the check even though everyone sat across from each other so all they had to do was go directly across. They still screwed the check up and spent over 45 minutes. They were trying to fix the check never again too many other chain steakhouses that are much better. read more

My wife's family was in town and we decided to go out to Logan's for dinner. The wait wasn't to long for seating considering the amount of people with us. We were seated by the stairs leading to the space above and Everyone was waiting on the yeast rolls which we absolutely love and we began to order. I ordered the grill chicken sandwich with bacon and baked sweet potato which was fantastic. My wife ordered the steak and ribs with the baked potato which she loved. It was my first visit and I had no expectations. I had never been to Logan's before because there weren't any near me. So when I was in the area, it was time to try one. I was pleasantly surprised by Logans! Our server was excellent and the food came out fast. We loved the complementary rolls and ate every one. I had the pork chop with a bake potato and apples and he had the rib eye steak with. Both were served piping hot and tasted fantastic. Pleasantly surprised, no complaints at all. Logan's is the steak house you go to when quality is not what your looking for. Cold light beer, overcooked, or undercooked is how they cook steak, big salads, big beers, average prices and decent service. The place is old, and somewhat clean, with a leaky roof that we were watching the water drips just miss the food and drinks that the servers were bringing out. The kitchen staff tries, they really do, it's not their failure, its the meat. it's hard to cook a steak on a grill...it's not like you can use a temperature probe to get the temperature perfect. I've been eating at Logan's since they first came to Gastonia. It has been a while since I've eaten here until today (it's been at least a year, I'm pretty sure). 90% of the time, I get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The last time I ate at Logan's, I had one. But after tonight, I'll probably not go back. In all the years past, the chicken breast has always been almost twice the size of the bun, and very thick. Tonight, it wasn't even as large as the bun, the portion of fries was smaller than normal, and the price has increased since the last time. Increasing price while decreasing portions is bad practice, in my opinion. The service was perfectly fine, so no complaints there (honestly, the service is the only reason I'm giving 2-stars; based on food alone it would be 1). And the restaurant was clean, so I couldn't ask for more in regards to that. read more

I went here and absolutely loved it. However, the best time to go is in the evening. Day service is less than par. It's full of bitter old workers. In the evening it's full of vibrant workers that are eager to please. I haven't been here at a time where there is anyone waiting on the wrap around benches. They're not so packed that their upstairs wasn't utilized when I visited the place. It's a great place to take a group. We were feeling so disrespected as if we were aliens of some sort from universe all we are is black. Picked up a Togo order. 1st I called in to go there instead of Texas Roadhouse because Logan's has the deliver to parking space option and Texas RH in Gastonia is always packed and you have to park a mile away so I chose Logan's... I get there and call to have the order brought out . I waited and waited and waited . Finally I went in and the girl 1st says it's not ready but she would let the to go girl know I was waiting. So the to go girl comes over and pulls my order from the cart where it was cold and had been waiting????? So the lazy girl wouldn't bring it out ! Why do they have the option if the workers are refusing the service. They were not busy at all either. The ribeye was good . The food was all good ..they put some watered down ranch instead of ranch and no fork/ sauce napkins . The cooks are good but wait staff sux . We did a call in order for the chopped steak dinner. The order was ready when I arrived! Although I had to drive across town to get back home, the only thing I had to reheat was the fries. The chopped steak was cooked to perfection, medium well, just as we had ordered, and the flavor of the meat was delicious! If they use the same meat for their burgers, they have great burgers! The baked potato was cooked just right, nice and soft and fluffy on the inside, and those yeast rolls with whipped butter are divine, so light and airy! Not a great experience, 2 steaks ordered cooked medium. One was beyond well done and the other was very rare. Both were 6oz sirloins. Ordered a salad as one of the two sides and it never came out. Cheese fries as appetizer was tasty but disappointing the amount on the plate for $8, it barely covered half the 6-7" plate it came on. There were more fries on one of the steak plates as a side. Baked potato was very hard inside like it's been cooked and reheated. The only plate that was edible was the hamburger steak and broccoli and it was missing the toppings on the hamburger steak. Haven't seen food prepared this bad in a while. I did not speak to a manager nor did I short our waitress in her tip because I don't believe in not paying for what we ordered. I did however notify our waitress to send a message back to the kitchen staff to learn how to use a temperature probe. read more

We got here and took 6 minutes to get our cutlery. With our bread already sitting on the table, and as we were waiting our waiter was to rushed to get our order it took her that long to get the cutlery. Food was okay I ordered 2 potato soups, chicken tenders, and fries, with macaroni and cheese. The chicken tenders where warm and the fries where room temp. It was kind of loud in the restaurant with being able to hear workers cackling in the kitchen but also hearing kids yelling and crying. Overall ok experience wouldn't go again. read more

I was in the area and was looking for a new place to try out for a late weekend lunch. I heard about this place before, and saw it was close and decided to try it out after looking at the menu online. I arrived just after 4:00 PM. The potato skins were delicious and filling. The blue cheese dressing served with my salad was also delicious. It was hard eating the salad from a plate without a rim as most of the toppings slid off the plate and onto the table. The rolls were large, fluffy, and buttery and I didn't see the need for extra butter. The server kept on top of drink refills. When I glanced at the time, it was passing 5:00 PM and the entrees had not yet arrived. Shortly after looking at the time, a manager stopped at the table and apologized for the wait and said the food would be out shortly. The chicken tenders were just OK. For being advertised as southern fried, I was expecting some spice. The mashed potatoes were made from old baked potatoes with the skins on. The skins were tough and chewy, and it felt like I was eating around land mines in my mouth so I didn't finish them. The honey mustard was flavorful but watery and didn't stick to the chicken well. The BBQ sauce was average. On the way out there were a ton of people waiting to be seated for dinner. I can't believe how many people were there waiting! This restaurant is so much like Texas Roadhouse. I would rather go there where the food and service is better and where portions are larger. read more

This was my first experience at Logan's. My husband decided to take me there for a celebration. As soon as we got there we were sirens and our waiter came to take our drinks order. He also brought a bucket of salted peanuts that were really good. I decided to go with steak and salted mushrooms, and he went with steak and loaded potato. We both also had salads, He had cessar and I had the house salad that was simply amazing! I always order my steak medium, but this time decided to risk on a medium rare. Our food didn't take long to come and everything was cooked as per order. I was really impressed with my steak. Our waiter was nice, but got missing sometimes, the food came fast and was good but nothing outstanding. Price wise I would say that it average for a steakhouse. I probably won't be dying to go back any time soon, but also won't be against it in case someone invite me to go there. read more

Logan's is always amazing. Although a chain, it's absolutely delicious. Great beer selection and excellent margaritas! I recommend the potato skins to start (although the rolls with cinnamon butter are enough ) and a sirloin steak with a baked potato. Salads are also excellent if you're looking for something lighter whether for a side or an entrée. Perfect for a night out with family and friends. read more

I hadn't been to a Logan's in forever. They took them out in Florida a while ago. It was nothing like I remember. The food was subpar. They didn't even have much in the way of a selection. The waitress was nice enough. She made sure my husband got his "beverages" without too much of a wait. He got chili cheese fries. They didn't look that great and he said they didn't taste that great either. I ordered a club sandwich with fries. Really can't go too wrong with that or so I thought. I mean so get me wrong or tasted fine but when I asked for mayo I was told they didn't have any. Who doesn't have mayo? Then whoever put it together must have been having an of day. I good it got better because my sandwich looked like it was literally thrown together kinda like the little cheeseburgers from McDonald's. This place is pure junk. They seat us in the back with a damn pole right in our way. We asked to be seated in the booth behind us as this place wasn't even a full house and the host refuse too. There were so many tables available and she still won't for whatever reason. The fake bone in ribeye was straight garbage. Small 1inch cut. We all know what a bone in ribeye looks like. We barely had any fries as our side. Wife order The "logan steak" 11oz was so damn chewy, we threw it away. Save your money and go texas roadhouse or longhorn. Won't be coming back. Ordered a 16 oz rib by bruceki style. They brought it out on a regular plate. Look like salted onions on top (Not very appetizing). Told them it was supposed to be bruceki style Took it back to the cook. He got aggravated i guess just put it on a hot plate Put whatever onions it was on it on top of it no crispy onions. basically taste like , s*** the Only thing that was really edible was the salad and the rolls.
