We stopped by Logan's for a late dinner on a day that we had been out all day and were starving and wanted drinks. The staff was friendly, the music was good, and there was no wait, so I was a happy camper. The waitress was very attentive; she checked on us frequently and made sure our water glasses and bread basket were never empty lol. I ordered the Kickin' Chicken salad, which had spicy grilled chicken, black beans, corn, and spicy ranch on it. I have had a similar salad at several other restaurants and comparatively this one was nothing special, but I did like it. Everyone else in my party liked their dishes as well. This was last Thursday 6/30/22... Went there at 7:00 P.M. (Hardly anyone there)... And waited 45 minutes to get a seat... Then 20 minutes for drinks... Then waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food! Was only a few of us, so not like it was a large group! Food was not that good.. But would not have taken the time to come on here and complain about it... Until it took soooo long! Only decided to try Logan's since Cracker Barrel had a couple employees on their staff in the lobby that just was not appropriate! Sadly, the restaurant was understaffed last night. Our waitress, Emily, worked her butt off! Our table of 4 ordered margaritas that were very weak. We said something to our waitress that brought over the shift manager. He stated that the bartender measures out the amount of alcohol. Yes, we expected that but our top shelf margaritas tasted like frozen mix without tequila. Salads came out perfectly. Two entrees were perfect but one entree was cold to the touch. My Anything but Everything Salad came out without the chicken. We spoke to the Same manager that apologized. Took the cold entree off the bill, brought out chicken for my salad and pasty tasting potato soup for my friend. It was awful. When we get there they first say they can only sit sit 6 to a table. So im like ok. Then we go to sit down they separate me and my children having them sit 2 tables down from me and my husband. Ridiculous! It was supposed to be my birthday dinner but couldn't even include my kids. This meal was hard to rate as a 4 star. Service at 4:30 was excellent. Place very clean and everyone was friendly. They were actually pretty busy for being an early dinner. I had the Buttermilk breaded chicken with mashed potatoes and salad as side. It is hard to beat their salad and the chicken was also tender and juicy. The meal downfall was the mashed potatoes. I haven't had mashed potatoes that runny since the invention of instant potatoes. I should of sent them back and got a baked potato. Always enjoy going here. It's really nice when you get great food, have a laid back atmosphere and the staff knows how to act. We know several of the managers and they are friendly with us but they don't assume we came specifically to have dinner WITH them. They come by, check on us, say hi and get back to their business. Most of the servers are top notch. I hate it when a female server thinks showing their tots (haha) and getting touchy feely with the man at the table is going to score a big tip. HE won't be the one tipping you! So kudos to Logans for great food, cool atmosphere and people who know how to act! read more

Thought I'd try something other than Cracker Barrel for my "highway" lunch. Had the Roadhouse Salad with Sirloin. The diced tomato was not fresh, was probably diced day or days before, yuck. The sirloin... Well, it was fun making eye contact with the server while gnawing on the dog chew toy like tough meat. Two of the four sirloin chunks were ok but I couldn't cut any of them with my knife. This place is a typical "frozen to table" American style joke as a restaurant. Staff are friendly but food is bad. The staff seated us fairly quickly for it to be a Friday night and mostly full house. They must have been short servers - several tables stayed vacant. Our waitress was attentive enough. Our food took a long time. When it arrived, it was lukewarm. The chicken sandwich was loaded when asked for plain (too long of a wait to ask to have fixed). The sandwich had fries instead of baked potato - lukewarm fries... One thing was hot - steamed broccoli. Surely they didn't hold for that!?! Can only assume that food was delayed reaching us due to waitress which made tipping difficult-we saw her chatting with coworkers. A manager came about asking how is everything. We said lukewarm. His response was I'll tell the kitchen. That doesn't help us enjoy this $60 meal more. Must say the signature rolls were hot and enjoyed. read more

Very disappointing experience! First, the good parts... waitress greeted us quickly, took our order, and our drinks/bread/salads arrived quickly - salads were fantastic. Then things took a turn... we lost the waitress, waited forever for our filets only to have them arrive EXTREMELY overcooked, finally found the waitress and sent the filets back, waited another 25 minutes for two more OVERCOOKED and TOUGH filets. Despite all of this, I hate being that customer - but asked to speak to the manager. Didn't even finish my sentence and he simply rolled his eyes, yanked the ticket from the table and walked away without a word. Waitress came back several minutes later with a reduced ticket which we paid and immediately left. After all of that, my biggest disappointment was the manager's reaction - beyond rude. I ate here the day after Thanksgiving. I should be clear that this is the only place I ate outside of my family's home for the whole week. That's relevant because I was the only one who got food poisoning the day after Thanksgiving. I'm guessing a server tried to call in sick and management said "No way, you have to come in today". Thanks, Logan's, for getting a pregnant woman sick. Other than that, my steak was cooked wrong. My friend's steak was also cooked wrong. Later my parents told me "If we'd known you were going there, we would have warned you. They never cooked our steaks right so we quit going". The rolls were delicious, and my side items were great too. I had a baked potato and these skewer vegetables things which were fantastic. So I had to bump them up from one star to two for that. Service was really slow, but it was busy so I know how that goes. This place is apparently pretty popular in Cullman, so if you don't want to wait forever to get your check and pay, don't go on a weekend night maybe. read more

My experience at this Logan's tonight was less than desired. There was so many things wrong, that it would take a couple of pages to write it all down. To sum it up, I was overcharged for food that was overcooked, cold and very small portions. I had to wait for about an hour for a carryout order (that I called in AHEAD of time) and still had to return to the restaurant for rolls, butter, sour cream and salad dressing. Needless to say, much of this food had to be thrown away. It was inedible. And to top it all off, this experience cost me over $28. I sure wish that I could go back in time and order my supper elsewhere. read more

After deciding what to eat out tonight we decided to give Logan's a new chance. It has been a while since we have eaten here because of our previous experiences. We had Chelsea as our waitress tonight and she was on par. Food came out hot and very quick for a Friday night. They were on a short wait when we walked in and was still able to get food out quickly. I noticed team work as multiple people ran out our food. All in all I was very impressed tonight. I asked if they have a new manager and they did have a new GM take over about two months ago. This store has great management! I stopped coming here over a year ago due to poor food and bad service. I had to go there for a birthday party this last week and was shocked at the turnaround! I came from out of town and asked my hotel receptionist a place she recommended to eat at and she recommended Logan's. I made sure that it wasn't a chain and it was a local joint. One of their "logo" per say, is that they give you peanuts and you can throw the shells on the floor, which honestly really threw me off when I walked in because of how messy it was. The service is why I give this place such a low rating - - super super damn slow. Literally took around 30 minutes just to get our appetizers and then another 30 to get our entree. They provide you with peanuts and these rolls, now the rolls are to die for. Soft and baked fresh I believe and it was really good. Everything else was a bit generic. Me and my mom became full after eating the rolls because we were waiting so long for our food that we had to munch on something. When they food came out the trio of appetizers we got were pretty good. The burgers were hugeee but tasted pretty regular. Nothing special and we ordered one of their specialties, the fried cheese and bacon burger. So overall it was just an ehh experience. read more

Would not recommend, service was acceptable but there was a problem with our waitress. She had told our group that the yeast rolls wouldn't be available to customers for the rest of the weekend, however this was not the case, as we were leaving we saw several families received plates and rolls. We also had to get the manager to come directly to our table to take food that we didn't order off the check. The food was okay accept for the fact that I ordered the 8 oz. sirloin and received a 6 oz. I didn't say anything to avoid further delay and confusion.
