I had been thinking about it, and usually that just means I change my mind because it involves going out in public, but I had the day free and on a whim and called the salon I've driven past several times. Andy answered the phone and was so professional and KIND that I decided it couldn't be that scary and booked the first appointment they had available for the day-- didn't want to lose my nerve! People get their hair done every day right? There is a wee parking lot, but there are reserved spaces for the salon. The interior is modern, clean, and open. There was music on, but not too loud and not too soft. The temperature was perfect, I'm usually cold all the time everywhere. They have little smocks for customers to wear, that probably helped too. Andy gave me a quick tour, and I sat down to wait for my stylist. I had booked with Carl and he was very friendly, polite, and calm. He was attentive and did a wonderful job helping me decide exactly what I wanted. Throughout the entire process he would inform me what he was doing and why, and was overall extremely pleasant to have a conversation with! I was really happy with the cut and style-- Carl did a fantastic job and is a true professional. Contactless payment made everything easy, and you pay for services first and then use a separate system for gratuity. Overall a wonderful experience and very lovely people!

Daniel said the stylist left the formula and he would follow it. I did not get a blow out because I was going to get my hair wet the next day and didn't want to waste $100 (It was already $200 with tip!) plus, if he followed the formula it wouldn't matter. Well, he didn't! Not only did he leave a big chunk of gray in the front, the roots were much lighter and there was an obvious demarcation line on my very dark hair. He got upset and offended when I went back and asked if he followed the formula. He told me my entire head was full of demarcation lines. It's not! He was rude, combative, and unprofessional. I will never go back and I suggest you do your research - overpriced and a waste of money for screwing up a simple root touch up.

I've made an appointment to get my hair cut correctly at my destination. My disappointment is more that it wasn't done correctly the first time, that I must spend more money and time to have it done right, and rather than offering me a partial refund, or a sincere apology, it was made to look as if I was at fault for not coming back to the salon, and therefore, I didn't have a legitimate complaint. My highlights came out chunky and uneven, nothing like the soft, blended, lived-in look I asked for (in addition, the blowout I got during my first appointment was the WORST blowout I have had in my entire life). I went back twice to get it fixed, and I could tell they were genuinely trying, but it still wasn't right. The tone at my crown didn't match my ends, there was brassiness that never fully went away, and now, a few washes later, that brassiness is already creeping back. On top of that, my hair ended up noticeably darker overall than what I wanted in the first place. I also went in for what should've been a simple trim, and way more length came off than I asked for (and I've spent years trying to grow out my hair). At the end of the day, I paid a lot of money and went through multiple appointments, and I still didn't get the color or the cut I asked for. Really disappointing for the price.
