I cannot say enough positive things about Lockman Security. Over the course of 6 months, I have had 3 different interactions with them...all good. The unusual part about them is the quality of this company involves everyone who works there. And I mean every single person I encountered and dealt with was wonderful. How rare is that?! I am going to start with my most recent experience which was by far, the most involved and complex. I am taking care of my Dad and he has 5 different caregivers. Recently the key to his double sided lock disappeared and I immediately knew nothing good was going to come from it. After contacting the police, I got in touch with Lockman Security whose owner my Dad introduced me to previously. I spoke with their dispatcher and made arrangements for changing the tumblers on the lock. After hearing my story, she suggested that when I had more funds available that I change the type of lock. I thanked her for her suggestion. A little later the same day, I called back and decided her suggestion was the way to go. Had I done what I wanted them to do, it would have been less effective and likely cost me more money in the long run, because I would have to do it again when they took the new key! Long story short, Lockman Security helped me secure my Dad's apartment and promptly end several issues I had with his caregiver situation. For example, I used to have to be there whenever a new caregiver was going to covering for his regular caregiver as he could not hear his doorbell . Now I can unlock the door for the covering caregiver remotely without needing to rush to get there before them. I still prefer to be there to meet them but it is wonderful to have the option of handling the situation differently in case I need to do so. He has caregivers that start at 9 AM and others who come 11 hours later. I used to need to be there for both time slots. It is not easy but it is necessary. The lock they installed, a smart lock has given me back control over my Dad's apartment and his safety, something in light of the Nancy Guthrie case, I do not take lightly. Since I sleep there during the weekends, I also now finally feel safe while there. Something I have not felt while there for a very long time. Security is more than just locks. It involves peace of mind and Lockman security knows how to deliver it and they do it damn well. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Lockman Security! read more

The house I bought came with Hurricane Doors and Windows. Not sure who installed, The only company I could find to get key copies was Lockman Security. So when the Front Door lock stopped working from the outside I asked Lockman Security to come out and look at it. On 11/14/2024 a service tech came out and determined the lock needed to be replaced and that the replacement lock would come from Germany. So I gave them a couple of months, then on 01/14/2025 I called to find out status. A very nice customer service rep looked my record up and said she would need to get the current status from the Service Tech who worked the order. I called back 2 more times over the next 2 weeks and the Customer Serivce Rep was not able to get any updates from the Service Technician. So I submitted a service request via their website in which I asked status for my existing service ticked. I hoped the website would direct it to a Service Manager for assignment, but I never heard back. Finally in total frustration, I looked up the company info to determine who runs the company and sent the President a letter on 02/24/2025. Here we are 3 weeks later and no response. I'm forced now into going to another company and paying for a full door replacement for what should have been just a lock replacement. Total failure in my mind from a customer service perspective. read more

100% Do not recommend!!! Poorest customer service I have ever experience! Owner has a K9 posted by the door and came out screaming that I was reaching out to his dog saying there's a do not pet sign where there was none in place just a "only employees beyond this point" sign. He began cursing me out for pointing out there was no "Do not pet sign". Suggestion for the owner don't have a non friendly dog manning your counter when no one is around if it's not friendly. I called a few weeks ago to get a duplicate key fob for my Lexus. At the time they said they needed my credit card to order it but would not run it. They took my credit card and probably wrote it down somewhere. About a week later, they called and said my key fob was ready and to come pick it up. I live 30 minutes away, no problem. I was literally a block away and they called me to "reschedule". Turns out they have one machine to do the programming and they "had an emergency". They offered me to come to my house in a week or so. I called back after the week and they stated their "key cutting machine was not there". They told me another week. Needless to say, Anthony the owner - or at least he told me he was the owner - is non responsive, had no urgency, never called me back. I don't think I should be begging a company to take my money. Lock Man was suggested to me by another locksmith when I called about replacing a Key Fob for my Shelby GT350. When I called I spoke to Caesar. He looked up the fob and he could not be sure of the compatibility of the listed fob he had and asked if I could bring it up so he could jet the MCN number from my fob. He found that his was different and suggested going to the dealer. I asked him about programming it and he quoted my a reasonable price. I went there today and he programmed my fob and went out of his way to show me some things about using the metal key that is in the fob, and how to start the car even with a dead battery in the fob. They got the job done. I recently bought a smart lock and wanted it installed professionally as my door has its issues. Anyone who is familiar w/ smart locks will know that your door can potentially cause compatibility issues depending on how standard it was fitted and installed. It took two visits to complete the job. The first time the lock was successfully installed and worked like a charm. Later that evening I noticed some hardware from the new lock wasn't used and, me being me, I called back to find out if someone would come and try to install it or show me why it wasn't a good idea. The gentleman from the first visit didn't really do that. (Also, I just had a mental itch that the hardware should be used if it came w/ the lock). One of the owner's came out the next day and we discussed what I wanted to happen and what the best plan of action was. Ultimately I went w/ the solution he recommended. He explained why what I wanted really wasn't worth it, and what a better, and most importantly, more secure option would be. The work took a bit more elbow grease than he anticipated, but the end result has left me very pleased. The charge for the second visit was surprisingly reasonable, i.e., for the amount of work I saw him doing I expected at least x2 what I paid. I'd like to also state for the cynics out there that the the second visit DID NOT feel like an up sell. Sure I shelled out more money which I wouldn't expect to if he just did what I wanted (I'd have considered it 'finishing the job'). Actually, it seemed like he thought the work that was done was sufficiently secure, it was really me who insisted something additional be done. I figured since he was out here, I might as well get another issue w/ the door addressed, which I at least feel makes it more secure. A bit more disclosure, I didn't rate them the full 5 stars because of certain circumstances from the first visit. However, having spoken about the issue with them to a satisfactory conclusion, and ultimately given the service I expected for my money, I would still highly recommend these guys. read more

Made an appointment days in advance for 12 noon on a wed,,,,Wed at 1215 I called for a status update and was told the person would be there by 100pm,,,I called again at130pm and was told he was 12 minutes away,,,He showed up at 3pm,,,,When I told him the people in the office are not very good, he argued with me,,,,He finished the job leaving an old piece without replacing,,,I paid him and asked for a receipt,,,He claimed they are all sent via email now,,,,Im still waiting for a receipt from two weeks ago!! I went in to this place because of recommendations on line, however I had a different experience. I requested a spare key (remote) to be made, and was given an estimate and a time frame. So far all is well. I called a couple days later and was told I would be called back that day for status. NOPE! I called 3-4 days after that and again told that they needed to get back to me, and as of right now(been at least 10 days) no call back. UNRELIABLE!
