The unusual part about them is the quality of this company involves everyone who works there. And I mean every single person I encountered and dealt with was wonderful. How rare is that?! I am going to start with my most recent experience which was by far, the most involved and complex. I am taking care of my Dad and he has 5 different caregivers. Recently the key to his double sided lock disappeared and I immediately knew nothing good was going to come from it. After contacting the police, I got in touch with Lockman Security whose owner my Dad introduced me to previously. I spoke with their dispatcher and made arrangements for changing the tumblers on the lock. After hearing my story, she suggested that when I had more funds available that I change the type of lock. I thanked her for her suggestion. A little later the same day, I called back and decided her suggestion was the way to go. Had I done what I wanted them to do, it would have been less effective and likely cost me more money in the long run, because I would have to do it again when they took the new key! Long story short, Lockman Security helped me secure my Dad's apartment and promptly end several issues I had with his caregiver situation. For example, I used to have to be there whenever a new caregiver was going to covering for his regular caregiver as he could not hear his doorbell . Now I can unlock the door for the covering caregiver remotely without needing to rush to get there before them. I still prefer to be there to meet them but it is wonderful to have the option of handling the situation differently in case I need to do so. He has caregivers that start at 9 AM and others who come 11 hours later. I used to need to be there for both time slots. It is not easy but it is necessary. The lock they installed, a smart lock has given me back control over my Dad's apartment and his safety, something in light of the Nancy Guthrie case, I do not take lightly. Since I sleep there during the weekends, I also now finally feel safe while there. Something I have not felt while there for a very long time. Security is more than just locks. I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock.
