These guys did an excellent job with a recent lock repair!…read more We were experiencing an issue with a lock so I reached out to PBC (and a few other companies) right here on Yelp. PBC responded fastest. They were also available immediately, which was great. The job was completed with no issues. The locksmith was very professional and easy to work with. I have to say, I can certainly see why they have an overwhelmingly positive reputation. Overall, five stars. I would absolutely use them again, no question.

I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. From start to finish he was probably done in a half hour, and simple payment through credit card. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise! If you need a locksmith, Joe is the guy for you!

I called in the morning and within an hour they were on their way to install a new lock. The owner…read morewas very knowledgeable. He gave me valuable advice on high impact front doors. I ended up changing the bottom lock as well as the top lock. I wanted a good quality lock. He installed the same lock that he uses at his property. Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. I will definitely use Angel Locksmith every time I need a locksmith now.

I told him I was willing to take that chance because I believed in him and that I thought the company I got the remote from was a reputable one. Upon completing his programming, he came in and said he was happy that I was probably right in that I used a reputable company for the remote. He said 9/10 times it doesn't open the hatch when programmed but this one did. This guy could not have more professional than he was. He was honest, straightforward and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.

A True Blessing in a Stressful Time…read more I am writing this with a heart full of gratitude. Recently, I dealt with the immense stress of having my car keys stolen while I was out shopping. When I called the dealership, I was quoted a staggering $700 for a replacement for my car--a price that felt truly overwhelming. By the grace of a friend's recommendation, I found my way to Smiley Fort Lauderdale Locksmith & Key Center, and I am so glad I did! They were able to provide a brand-new key and clicker for a fraction of the cost. They even offer a spare key (without the clicker) for just $50. I want to give a special thank you to Max. He treated me with such kindness and professional respect. It wasn't just about the keys; it was about the wonderful, honest way he conducts business. I left feeling empowered, relieved, and so very happy. If you ever need a key made, please don't let the dealerships discourage you! Go see Max. He is a master of his craft and a truly good soul. With love and appreciation, Rajee Narinesingh

Avi reached out shortly after and was able to provide a quote with just a few details and photos. He showed up the next day on time and ready to work. He pointed out a few possible issues and worked to correct them. He was thorough and accurate in his service delivery. We accrued an additional cost when he advised that our back door locked should also be changed (so we wouldn't need different keys). This cost was justifiable and it didn't feel like an upsell at all. I think the value paid for his time and effort was very well worth it. I plan to use him again.

I hired this provider through Thumbtack, operating under the name "Access Locksmith & Security."…read moreFrom the beginning, everything seemed straightforward: I was quoted and invoiced for high-grade (Grade 1) commercial lock cylinders. But once the job was done, I realized something was off. A second licensed locksmith later confirmed that what had actually been installed were low-grade (Grade 3) residential components -- not what I paid for. It gets worse: the provider removed my original cylinders and doorknob and never returned them, even after multiple requests. Instead, I was offered a refund -- but only if I agreed to sign a non-disparagement agreement. After researching further, I discovered that "Access Locksmith & Security" is not even a registered business name in Florida. The provider operates under different names and entities at the same address. I had to pay out of pocket for a second professional to fix everything. I've since filed a formal complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Be extremely careful -- check the paperwork, verify credentials, and don't hesitate to walk away if something feels wrong. I cannot recommend this provider based on my experience.
